Incredible cold salads, hot pasta dishes and specials. Their gluten-​free pasta was the best I’ve ever had. It was so good, in fact, that I double-​checked to make sure it truly was gluten-​free. I used to come here all of he time when I lived in Minneapolis back before I was gf and LOVED their desserts.

This is one of my favorite locations! The staff are always super friendly and accommodating to any menu substitutions. The food is always super fresh, especially the basil lemonade in the summer.
Their cold pasta bar is always a favorite of mine, especially the mozzarella, asparagus, chickpea salad. Their spaghetti was always a delicious dish too.

Went on a rainy Saturday night in December (which should’ve actually been snowy but wasn’t due to El Nino blah but let’s not start that topic here) and got some warm tasty Italian food. Wife had the pistachio pesto cappellini with grilled veggies and I got the cherry spinach Neapolitan pizza with goat cheese. They offered fresh bread with our meal as we were half-​way through. Got some Izze and hot tea to wash everything down. Friendly staff, uninspiring décor, great location and a sizable wine selection. Four on five.

No sandwiches after 4, very inconsistent delivery and high cost are all key complaints I have with this location. For upwards of 40 – 50 bucks you should be able to expect both perfection and selection. I gave 2 stars because the food is great. It appears to be management decisions that really undercut the potential of this location. I would suggest hiring an employee that is dedicated to delivery so that this is a consistent option. If I checked in every time I ordered from here I would probably have over 200 check ins here. Despite that loyalty I rarely am able to get substitutions or get delivery when I really have a craving. The food is consistently delicious. Unfortunately that is the only thing that is.

I worked with Kristen Zwieg and the Metropolian Ballroom team to plan a fundraising breakfast for the non-​profit organization I work for. I cannot say enough good things about the planning and execution process! Kristen was professional and prompt in planning details ahead of time, always responsive and friendly in her communications.
The day before the event the Metropolitan staff were accommodating in letting us drop off event supplies and make a few last minute changes to the room set up to ensure all of our guests were well cared for.
The day of the event could not have gone smoother, thanks to their team. Servers helped us set our informational supplies at each seat, the room looked beautiful, the tech/​audio person managed all of our music/​Powerpoint/​video seamlessly, and the food service was delicious and not distracting to our program.
It was a joy to work with the D’Amico and Metropolitan teams on our event and I cannot recommend the space and their service highly enough!

Love their catering. Here’s why:
1) Professional and reliable, able to accommodate last minute requests. Always on time. Friendly staff — both delivery and café staff taking phone orders.
2) Delicious food, although I wish the menu would change more often. Still, not complaining!
3) The best rewards program — five orders of $ 50 or more = $ 50 gift card. Yet one more reason to go out of my way to order from them as much as possible. I have not been disappointed yet.

A good deli with a fair amount of table space. Nice selection of soups and salads along with entrees. I haven’t explored the menu, but everything I’ve had has been good.

Date night Tuesday night is one thing I look forward to. It’s never too busy and service is always fantastic. The bottle of wine goes along way for my boyfriend and I as well. The food is fresh and comes out hot but not «I’m too excited to eat so I’m willing to burn myself» hot.

A travesty has occurred. The end of an era. A favorite past time given the kibosh. The finest way to relax with friends on a summer evening or a cold winter night must now be redefined. I regret what I am about to inform you, Unilocalers.
D’AMICO & SONS NO LONGER OFFERS BOTTOMLESS WINE.
It’s true. Damico & Sons is just one of many Italian eateries in the area (some with even better food). Yet D&S has always been a haven that has stood out from the masses. Because they prided themselves on having their delightful staff coming around and generously keeping your wine filled throughout the evening. Write, call, protest! This absurdity must be reversed!

I recently stopped by, and of course the service was top notch and I decided to get the wine with my meal. Everything always tastes so vibrant here and this time I was able to resist the cake. I decided to try one of their pressed sandwiches and enjoy a lovely break in the stormy weather. This is just a feel good place in the neighborhood.

I love having a go to place to get dinner on weekday when I just dont feel like cooking. D’Amico it is! Everyone is so friendly and so helpful. Their date night package on Tuesday and Saturday is such an amazing deal. I typically go with a sandwich as its a little quicker than waiting on a pizza. But if you have time the pizzas are delish. The kids meals are also a good deal with a main dish, side, and a drink. Plenty of outdoor seating which can be tough to come by in the summer!

Like Surdyk’s deli I wish this place had way more outposts. Their salads and soups are perfect when you don’t want to cook but don’t want super fatty horribly unhealthy food. They had a white bean salad with grilled peppers and artichokes. I WANT THE RECIPE. It was sooo good. Filling but light. Healthy. Delish. Would be a perfect summer salad. You really can’t go wrong with anything from D’Amicos. They do food really well. It’s not always trendy but it’s always classic and delicious. Sometimes root beer foam topped seared arctic char with candied chicken livers is not what you want or need… nor is it good. D’Amicos knows food… plain and simple.

Had the Wild Mushroom soup and Roast Turkey Avocado sandwich and words do not describe how fantastic and perfectly balanced the taste is with those options. I couldn’t have made a better choice. I just moved into the Twin Cities and it looks like I just found my favorite lunch spot since I’m working from home.

Pretty average place with salads, sandwiches, pizzas, etc. We live right down the street and went about a year ago and weren’t excited enough about it to go back. Plenty of other more interesting places to go in the area.
It’s quiet, though, which is maybe why it seems to be mostly an older crowd when we walk by.

I was confused walking in as to where to order but luckily some seasoned customers showed me what to do. The food was great and the server that helped me was very friendly. He offered to let me try any of the salads in the case, which was nice. I like how they make the mixed or Ceasar salad right at the counter. I also enjoyed the bottomless wine that they had. The servers were very attentive to the entire restaurant. The only complaint I have is that the menu on the wall doesn’t say what is in each entrée. Luckily the employee helping me was able to answer all of my questions about what was in each plate.

Had some time to kill so I stopped here for the free Wi-​Fi. The place is conveniently located on Hennepin Ave so location is great. I decided to have a cup of cappuccino and was surprised by the monster size cup (not a complain) that I was given — definitely enough to keep me bouncing around for the rest of the day. I ended up having their club sandwich as well and while it was good, it was somewhat small and definitely overpriced. Now that I think about out, everything on their menu felt overpriced, so expect that before you go in. I felt like I had just stepped into a high-​end Italian restaurant and not just a casual Deli. Service was top-​notch, very attentive and cordial.
In short, an ok place if you are around the area, nothing to die for, and you will spend some Jacksons.

I cater for the office when we have client meetings and I never think twice about what I order for lunch when it comes to ordering lunch. With an office of picky eaters & needing to impress clients D’Amicos does the job right! I can fax over a order form that morning and I know everything will be taken care of & delivered in a timely manner for lunch. This eliminates so much stress for me at the office that I now love to order lunch!
Sandwich tray & Balsamic chicken salad are our go-​to for lunch

The food was great, loved the ambiance. From the moment i walked in i felt welcome by those behind the counter. Then, there was the most amazing woman working there. i believe Andrea Lee? She took the time to talk with us making me believe there are still people who genuinely care about their customers and good customer service. My 10 year old daughter even said she was the nicest lady she’s ever met. Thank you for the great service and food!

Yo yo yo, D’Amico is solid. I haven’t visited, but a buddy of mine picked up the chicken club sammich and I nearly choked on that bad boy I ate it so fast without washing it down with some bottled water. Came with some tasty chips, too. I would venture this is sort of a more upscale sitdown/​takeout deli type place, much like you’ll find out east.
