CY Alterations and Curtains

In addition to being very friendly, the ladies at C.Y. Alterations have an extremely fast turn around time. I had a skirt altered in 4 days (with an intervening holiday weekend) and a pair of trousers in 24 hours. I didn’t have to pay extra for rush service and it wasn’t just a simple hem job, either. The prices are about average — $ 14-​$ 16 take in a skirt or pants. $ 20-​$ 25 if it’s something complicated (involving multiple seams or relocating zippers or pockets). The workmanship is decent: seams lined up where they were supposed to, but my clothes didn’t come back neatly pressed as they do from some other places. However, their prices and convenient location on the ground floor of the US Bank plaza will keep me coming back as long as the sales racks continue yielding some nice bargains.
