CoCo is pretty much the best thing that has happened to my work-​life balance in the last year. I have my own business. I’m a mom with young children. I’ve been working out of my basement for the last 2 years. Then I discovered CoCo. Here are 8 reasons why I’m in love.
1. Super accommodating to moms! With a baby at home and pumping every few hours during my work day, I thought I was banned to my basement office forever. Pumping at a coffee shop isn’t exactly convenient. Enter CoCo. They have private space for me to pump, and the community manager is super supportive of working moms.
2. Sunlight – the common work space is just gorgeous. The sheer amount of sunlight is enough to keep me feeling inspired on cloudy and cold days.
3. Standing desks or sitting desks or couches or big tables. There is a surface to work on for every possible ergonomic need.
4. The people. It’s like having co-​workers. The creative energy is this place is inspiring. I’ve met interesting people and even started making business connections.
5. The community manager, Alysha-​Aubrey, works all day long to make my work day go better. She’s available to problem-​solve, greet my guests, connect people, keep the coffee running, and so much more.
6. A place to meet with clients, and someone to welcome them when they arrive. Nothing says legit-​boss-​lady like being able to host clients in meeting rooms with great technology.
7. Convenience – parking is easy, there is a big kitchen with room to store my lunch, good coffee (
.long), fast internet, a printer, basic office supplies
8. It’s affordable! I pay a set monthly rate for access 3 days/​week. I did the math – it works out to less than $ 2/​hour. $ 2/​hour! So worth it!
