My first time coming here and it’s alright. The burritos are hugeeeeeeeee! The chips and guac is A1. I wish the items were mixed because when I bite I get a mouthful of guac or rice and that’s not pleasing to my mouth. Overall, the atmosphere is chill, the music makes me want to dance ;D

Why am I reviewing a chain restaurant, aren’t they all supposed to be the same ? Well, in this case no. This Chipotle is my go to for a quick and healthy meal in the downtown area. It’s relatively cheap and really quick even during peak lunch hours. Their service is superb and they are always able to get you what you want, even with 10 people in the line ordering different things. They even rewarded me with a free meal for being a loyal customer — I was not expecting that. In the summer, when it’s nice and sunny you can sit outside and eat and people-watch the interesting characters that inhabit Nicollet Mall. If you like to have a drink with your fast food burrito then your’e in luck because you can get a Corona here, or even a Patron Margarita !

This place is terrific with everything! I am amazed with how well they do everything. Of all the times I’ve been there, there’s only one time that I’ve ever had to wait in line longer than five minutes(that incident wasn’t their fault). They seem to work quite well under pressure and when there is a long line. I’ve seen other customers who were picky and/or rude. The employees have handled those situations quite well. They are speedy at making their burritos. They are consistent on making sure the food and toppings are fresh. Every time I get a burrito there, it tastes delicious. I am a huge fan of tacos and burritos. I am always amazed at how well they make their burritos. I flip flop between the chicken and the steak, depending on my mood. Both taste equally great. When I’m in the Nicollet Mall area, I will continue checking this place out when I’m hungry.

Great! Same as every Chipotle I’ve been to, except the people-watching is much better at this location than suburban ones. And, if you’re a drunkard, this location has margaritas and beer for sale. :)

So I like chipotle. I really do which is why it’s getting two stars instead of one. But the manager here I don’t know what his name is but he is Latin or Hawaiian he has a darker complexion then your typical Caucasian. Yeah he sucks. I have seen the way he behaves with staff and he has interacted with me a couple of times. Meaning he rung up my order. Did not show any concern or care. Never greeted me or said thank you. A couple of times he was talking to other people and didn’t say a darn thing to me. I’m a manager myself so when I see behavior like that it makes me wonder who in the right mind hired this guy and who is allowing him to continue to work there?

We have a chipotle in my college town that everyone loves, but for me since I only eat chicken I don’t feel the same. The meat is always dried out and gross. However I went to this one here in MN while attending a conference and it changed my mind about chipotle. The chicken was perfect in my burrito bowl. Long line for lunch but they were serving as fast at they could without skimping on the toppings.

I went here early around 11 – 11:30 to avoid the long lines and hoping to get the freshest food, but what did I get? Cold steak in my tacos. The salsa tasted like it just came out of the freezer as well, which tells me their salsa is not freshly made. I’ve seen them cook their meat on site, but I was served yesterday’s food. Unfortunately, I had already walked back 20 miles to my workplace and did not feel like going back to get my money back.

Here’s the thing: I LIKE Chipotle. As far as fast food goes, it’s just about the only acceptable option out there. BUT… Beneath the sanitized veneer of their fresher ingredients, borderline saccharine customer service, and the hip-though-inoffensive music blaring from their speakers, Chipotle has come to represent the worst aspects of capitalism run amok. There is a way to strike a balance between making a profit and demonstrating basic respect for your customers, and Chipotle ain’t achieving that balance. I get it — someone at headquarters crunched the numbers on a spreadsheet and figured out they could save an extra $ 1.87 a day in not offering the fajita veggies, or skimping on beans. I shouldn’t have to request basic components of a burrito. It’s a cynical way to conduct business. You don’t have to bleed the cow’s udders in a mad quest to wring out every damn drop of milk. Leave the udders intact and let the cow stop by to provide milk another day, you know? The spoonfuls of meat are maddeningly inconsistent. I’ve ordered double the meat and received portions as small as a regular order; the beans and veggies seem to be scooped according to how deadly a side eye you give the person scooping. It gets to be tiring. I’m not at some old school merchant’s market haggling for the best possible deal, damn it — the prices are set already, and so should be the portions. Some days I’m tired and on the move and I don’t feel like negotiating portions when I shouldn’t have to. Also, In what version of the business-customer model is it acceptable to frequently be out of essential components for your featured product??? «We’re out of brown rice.» «We’re out of pinto beans.» «We’re out of grilled veggies.» «We’re out of chicken and the line’s long, so…» Oh, so do I get $.40 off my purchase? $.80? $ 1.60? Because I damn sure know I can’t come into Chipotle and order a steak burrito but with ¾ of the usual steak, no fajita veggies, half the beans, and then rationalize that I should only have to pay $ 4 for my meal. Yet the exact opposite is happening all the time. As much as I regard Chipotle as my fast food fix, I’m putting them on a six month ban. Chipotle, kiss my ass with a side of pinto beans.

It’s your average Chipotle, but this is one of the more busier locations that I have been to in a while. Located 3 blocks from the convention center and near Target, they can pull a crowd. While the line was out the door and down the block, the staff was extremely quick and the wait was reasonably short. This location is on the smaller side and there is limited seating inside. If it wasn’t for the patio seating, you could have a hard time finding a seat.

At this chipotle closed mouth don’t get fed. They stuffed my burrito but only because I asked for more everything. They started out trying to skimp me. I wouldn’t know how to rate the customer service since one of the guys who was making my burrito came from behind the counter and started flirting with me(he was cute at least). My stars are for the food because no matter what idIots make your burritos, they’re great. The guacamole also seems extra good at this location. It’s lumpy and that’s the way I like my guacamole

Super friendly service today. Fast food with a smile. The team is quick and efficient and the entrees are pretty decent for fast food fare. I like that the chicken is seasoned well and doesn’t appear to be comprised of leftover bits. Having a choice between white or brown cilantro lime rice is a plus as well. What they try to pass as guacamole is really just smashed avocado goo, but at least it adds a bit of flavor. And the portions are so large that it generally makes at least two meals for me. Huge burrito bowl large enough for two meals for less than $ 9? Yes, please. Great lunch option but try to get there prior to 11:30am or be prepared to wait up to 10 minutes. There is a small seating area(again, get there early) but they also provide a good to-go container.

Excellent restaurant, always good service. Love the burritos and they usually are playing fairly cool music. Love the chipotle tabasco sauce, could eat a burrito without it.

I hit Chipotle’s throughout the Twin Cities, but this is consistently the best one. Generous, yet manageable portions. Well cooked meat and rice. A friendly and fast staff. It’s rare that you have a burrito«rupture» like those made by less capable burrito engineers at neighboring Chipotle’s. There was a brief period of time last year when service and quality plummeted after an immigration raid(a crippling blow to the operation at this location). But I assume that cooler heads prevailed in the Obama Administration, because within a month or so, everything was«armonioso» en mi casa de Chipotle again.

This location always has a line out the door of Target team members at lunch time. Fast service, great burritos(I always get the burrito bowl) and fresh salsas are very tasty. Shawn’s tip — beat the lines by either ordering through the Chipotle free smartphone app or go if there is a little rain. Downtowners appear not to want to go outside for lunch if it is sprinkling!

My first time at Chipotle and definitely not my last! Let me tell you what i like: a cool place, a simple easy to read menu, a cheap bite to eat and ability to customize with additions. Chipotle has all of these things PLUS i didn’t get blood in my underwear!(South Park reference). :-D :-D But seriously, i got the burrito carnitas with cheese, salsa, onions, peppers and Guacamole. Not only was it massive but i think the total bill was something in the range of $ 8 which is awesome. Go here!

Open 11am to 10pm Monday — Saturday, Chipotle has become my default quick-bite dinner location of choice when I work late on 10th& Nicollet. I suppose there isn’t too many other options for fast and friendly service in the evenings, but their location and price make it a win. I didn’t used to like coming here, primarily because it was associated with being a fail safe for late night quickies, but then I discovered how amazing their chicken salads are and I now crave it for lunch on certain days. Best of all, a must, is the gallop of guacamole; this will unfortunately add nearly $ 2 to your order, but it makes all the difference. You don’t even need the salad dressing that comes with! Their online ordering system is superb and makes it easy to plan for lunch events for coworkers. You can create a group and choose who to invite; then each member will get an email with instructions to place their order and it all compiles into one pick-up order. Only downside is that it’s hard to figure out individual costs, so this works best if one person pays and others have cash. They are indeed closed on Sundays(still).

This is the best Chipotle on the planet. Considering, that it was three blocks from my apartment, I loved it. Excellent service, yummy food, lots of quack. I have no complains, and we all know, Im hard to pleace. I go loco for Chipotle guakco! On Halloween, you can wrap yourself in tin foil and get a free burrito. Yum! The only downside, its closed on Sundays. It is also extremely safe, as all downtown cops come here for lunch and dinner.
