Very Rare I dont check in or get a photo or two… my phone litterally Froze Solid this morning. However, a good friend and I hit Big Louie’s tonight. Got there around 6pm, place was packed. Waited ~15min for a table. Was served by Nelly, she made sure we were taken care of. I got the Louie’s Favorite Burger w/egg AND avocado. The angus meat was said to be fresh, never frozen… i would question that. The waffle fries were on point, and the seasoned sour cream was definitely a first for me. Very loud atmosphere. Horse Races, bingo and Drunks. One could guess ;) A few good brews on tap, Many more in bottles to choose from. They also have a bar/game area downstairs for overflow. Free popcorn at every table! Was stale, but tasty. I will most likely be back, but will try something other than a burger

If you’re looking for straight-up all-american fare this place is the bar to belly up to. Quality chow served with sincere kind service and in a no frills comfort setting. My go to joint for a great burger.

Wait and bar staff friendly and attentive. Nice selection of Draught beers. Numerous TVS tuned into wide variety of sports stations. Beer is cold, food is good(but do NOT get the French Onion soup), and clientele is friendly. Good place to hang out.

I’ve been going to Big Louie’s for the last 5 years, ever since I turned 21. Whether it’s for pool, darts, industry night, bingo, karaōke, or food, this place is one of my go-to’s. The bartenders have all been working there for years, and are so friendly. It gets pretty loud and busy on a Friday and Saturday, but the service is still good. Best thing on the menu: the spinach artichoke dip. You can tell the employees enjoy working there. This bar has a lot of regulars, but you’re treated well even if it’s your first time. Love this place.

2 star just for server and ok burger. First floor is ok .lots of TV and local sports, they do have some killer wings ‚ Wings order comes in 12 pieces. If you decid to go here I do highly recommend their wings and burgers. After dinner we went to play some pool at downstairs section and sure enough there were some pool hustler approaching with 2 dollars and keep asking to play till I got impatient and got his 2 $ .lool You know they always lose the first game, right? I’m not going back there but if you do just don’t go downstairs. Lool

Went here the first time on Sunday night for a long island and dinner with a couple friends. Good crowd and nice patio/indoor area. I give it 2 star because the place looked like a nice place to go for future with friends. We had terrible service. Our server was not attentive and had no enthusiasm or even seemed to care about our experience. Drinks and food were good. If I ever go there again, it will be for nightlife and social gathering, not dining.

I love Big Louie’s. I think as of late though they have cut back on some food quality. Worth checking out when it’s busy as the kitchen seems to work well under pressure and when the boss lady is around. Burgers are great and beer of the month cheap!

I used to come here for their $ 5 burgers on Mondays. They raised the price some time ago to 6.99 and I’m a cheap B so I stopped going. The burgers were always good. Anyway… Today we stopped in for some lunch with a friend of ours and the kids. I ordered a bloody. Not amazing, not horrible. I was super excited about eating some carbs today so I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and waffle fries. When it came it was hot and looked amazing… It wasn’t! The thing was completely null and void of any flavor what’s so ever! The meat was tough and unseasoned, the toppings were barley there once you got into the sandwich, and the cheese started getting really rubbery towards the end. The best part about this thing was the bread! I was super disappointed! I like to eat something super unhealthy and super tasty on cheat days. This wasn’t it! What a waste! My first experience ordering something off the menu other than a burger and I was so upset. Needless to say, not a place I’ll find myself frequenting at all.

Honest review: The staff makes Big Louies work. The food is pretty impressive for bar food and the atmosphere is constantly changing. I know they offer karaōke, pull tabs, dart leagues and some other cool stuff, but I go for the Pot Pie and drinks. It’s a wonderful local business and very welcoming.

Reminds me of food I’d get from a small bar back home… that’s a compliment by the way. Service was great for how big and packed the restaurant was. The prime rib was far above average and they even had both horseradish and horseradish sauce. My prime rib was perfectly medium rare as I asked which is sadly pretty uncommon. Usually I have to order down a cooked level to get the one I want. Salad was great, especially their blue cheese dressing. Baked potato was overcooked and really bland even with butter, sour cream, and seasoning. Fiancé’s fish fry meal was forgettable. Prices were very reasonable and the overall meal just had a fun atmosphere. This place has nightly specials so I definitely need to return. It’s also a lot larger than I imagined but looks like a great family place. Overall good meal and great service… Will be back.

Great little neighborhood bar. We usually order a hamburger or sandwich and fries. We have never been disappointed. Decent food every time. The owners could do a little better with things like wiping off the menus each night and having a working popcorn machine. Seeing the popcorn come out pre popped in tubs from the kitchen and dumped in the popcorn machine is kind of gross… only because I work in a kitchen and I doubt that tub is dedicated for popcorn. Dirty crusty menus skeeve me out too.

Went last night for bingo. GETTHEREEARLY. We went at 6:30 and ate dinner before the 8pm festivities. Never have I had such attentive servers bringing drinks to a table. We would literally be finishing our final sip of one when the next would show up at the table. And if someone brought your food or drink and wasn’t your server, they still would ask if you needed anything and bring it quickly to you. We shared the cheese curds. They were decent, seemed to be made fresh. It could use a dipping sauce of some kind. We shared the bleu cheeseburger and they made it to our specifications, even brought it out split on two plates with all the fixings for each of us! Everything was tasty, what I expected for a bar in Crystal. The only complaint I would make is that the seat back on the booth was loose so I got jostled all night by the people behind us which was exceedingly annoying.

This really is a true neighborhood place, everyone knows your name. The drinks are flowing & bingo is going strong. Loved all the food I got from the Cheeseburger soup to the Pizza [really how do they get soup to taste like a cheeseburger?]. Good food, good company & I won $ 80 bucks during bingo. How can I complain?

I love this place. It’s definitely one of those«neighborhood bars» where you’ll always see locals and people you know. My friends and I meet up here and it’s a great low key place to do so. The prices are cheap in my opinion(food and drinks), so you won’t have to worry about pushing pennies like you most likely would have to do at an uptown or downtown bar. The food is awesome in my opinion. You get a good amount for what you pay for and their burgers are HUGE. They also have burger night for 6 bucks a pop on Monday’s and that’s great, too. It’s not an extremely crowded place on weeknights which is great because service isn’t delayed and the bartenders are super friendly as well as the other customers. There aren’t uppity snobs which is a relief! If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, low key, and friendly bar, go here! I usually go to the Crystal location, which is a bit larger. They have a downstairs area where there are pool tables.

I’ve been a regular at Louie’s for many years and been usually satisfied, however tonight I was greatly disappointed. I ordered the 12oz prime rib dinner and it came to me stone cold. The staff will exchange but you can tell that they’re not necessarily happy about it. It was most disappointing because it was a quiet night in there, no excuse for food to sit around and get cold before serving. I’ll likely be back, but I will let them know about this experience to try to stem future issues.

I have to say i’m beginning to favor the small hole in the wall bars like tooties on lowry and bars like Big Louies that are more family owned where you’ll see your friendly neighborhood drunk instead of valley bitches you typically see at places like old chicago, chino latinos, spin, drink… i need not go any further. Yes, there is no flashy neon lights, no marble tops, no VIP bottle service and no jersey shore look alikes –BONUS. Big Louies does have great burgers. Trivia, Bingo and two locations check it out.
