At the turn of this century, companies had to spend a considerable amount of time and money and have a healthy supply of in-​house IT talent to accomplish what can be done today, in what’s now become known as the cloud. In 2001, CEO and co-​founder Jim Wolford started Atomic Data with the idea of building upon proven data center technology and infrastructure combined with 24×7 technical support in an effort to help large and small companies utilize technology without spending huge sums of money. More than a decade later, Jim’s original goal still holds fast. Thanks to expert engineers and support staff, long running industry partnerships, constant innovation, and exemplary customer service and client satisfaction, Atomic Data has grown to become Minnesota’s leading managed IT services provider.

With a career beginning in sales and corporate risk management, Jim Wolford found his passion for IT during his time at Visi. Jim channeled this passion into his own businesses bringing on board talented engineers, developers, and architects to provide the best IT services in the Twin Cities. As the Co-​owner and CEO of Atomic Data, Jim has developed all around service and support for business IT. Jim attended St. John’s University.
