I like coming to this Applebee location! For the most part, i’ve had great experiences here and the servers are always great! Good energy and great vibes here. I’m always coming here for their awesome pick two for $ 20 ! Awesome deal for a dinner for two!

I have been coming to this Applebee’s for some time off and on. Lately it just has not been the same. Our server was nice. I had him a couple of times before. I was mostly disappointed with the food quality. My wife’s steak was okay but my steak was suppose to be well done. When i got my steak it was pink. I didnt get any steak sauce, and my fries was salty. I will not be going to this applebees again. We will have to go to the one in Brooklyn center!

Horrible… Horrible… Horrible!!! … Did I mention horrible? This place is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe they are still in business. First off the server forgot my drink out of our table of 5. I had to kindly remind him and it took another 7 minutes of waiting. The food took forever and it didn’t even taste good. Next time I will go to TGI Fridays

The first time I’ve had a not so good experience here. I order steak and on the menu it said it would come with mashed potatoes and vegetables bit instead out came out with cut and pan-fried potatoes, mushrooms, and onions. It was a little bit too salty. I called for the server on the tablet, but no one came. We waited for about 10 – 15 minutes. I looked around, there was no servers around at all. We finally stopped a server when he came around and asked him for some steak sauce.

We had the two for $ 20 + appetizer. I had the lime chicken, best chicken meal that I’ve had in a long time. Service was prompt. We will go back again.

Friendly staff and very attentive. I’ve only been to Applebee’s 2 time when it wasn’t happy hour, and I’ve had good experiences both times. Happy hour is always nice and I like the wonton tacos. I honestly wouldn’t give this place a 5 star review, it wasn’t bad, but not excellent, but this place had a lot of bad reviews so I wanted to bring it up. Applebee’s is a convenient place to go and I’ll return.

Waited 5 minutes at the door and were not acknowledged even though multiple waitresses saw us. Then sat at the table for 15 minutes before even drink orders were taken. Then we were informed that they just close the kitchen at 11pm. The website says 1am. So the waiter asked the cook if he would make us food and he said he would make us appetizers. It took another 25 minutes and we got our water and apetizers. We felt badly that the cooks had to stay late but we were there at 10:45 so if they had just waited on us immediately we could have had our food and not have felt badly about it. I have never waited so long at any restaurant!

Two stars is generous. They can not get orders correct. We have waited twenty minutes for water or the drinks we ordered and the place isn’t even busy. Good food. Horrific service.

Will never come back to this location again! Our waiter stopped by a couple times before we ordered, but we needed more time. When we were ready, we put our menus at the end of the table. When he finally noticed we were ready, he yelled«you guys ready» from behind the bar. We ordered, he gave us our food, then he decided it wasn’t necessary to stop by the table and check on us again. I purchased a macaroni. The flavor was great, but I kept having to pick gross, chewy, fatty, incorrectly cooked bacon out of my mouth and off the bowl. I flagged down a waitress(she was very sweet) and she got the manager for us. An average height, shaved headed, meatneck type of guy stopped at our table and didn’t even properly introduce himself. Just stood there with this blank stare until we asked him about the bacon. Then says that it’s how it’s supposed to be. When my brother mentions that he worked in the food industry for years, and no one has ever done bacon like this, the manager scoffed and replied«Oh, I guess you would know, since you’re the bacon expert.» He was extremely rude and condescending. After having this pointless conversation, he came back to our table with«$ 5 off your next $ 25 purchase» coupons… oh sure buddy, that’s gonna fix our whole experience. When we got the bill, they gave us a gross dirty pen to sign with. My recommendation… stay away from this applebees.

Good food, horrible service. We waited an hour for our food. Everyone’s had their food except for me, waited another 45 minutes, still no food. Waiter never came to refill our drinks and check up on us. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I wanted a box for the appetizer. I mention to him that I was still waiting for my steak, after another 15 minutes of waiting for mey food, it finally came out and everyone had already finished their food and had to sit there while I quickly devoured a medium rare steak, when I had mention that I want it RARE!

I don’t know if I have ever gotten out of this place in under an hour and a half. I’m usually greeted by some loitering smokers just outside the front door, and the servers are generally over booked. The food is acceptable — when it arrives, if your willing to wait. I have not walked out of many restaurants in my time, but this is one of them.

WhatEVS. This place is still a dump. Brooklyn Park isn’t exactly glamourous, but this Applebee’s is a boatload of YUCK. A friend and I went here for drinks and appetizers. The bartender carefully measured out each shot. I’ve been here several times to pick up food back when I worked in the area and they ALWAYS measure the shots like it’s their second day at bartending school. Fine, at least they’re trying to be accurate. FINE. Anyway, this particular visit was the end of my personal Applebee’s-on-Brooklyn-Boulevard journey. I’d actually wanted to get food, but waited so long on an obviously unbusy bartender that I lost my vague appetite for riblets. My friend got a queso thing, which was cheesy dip with tortilla chips. We waited half an hour for this simple food and were told that the kitchen was«preparing more chips». Let it be known that these chips were not made in small batches by Applebee’s. The total prep work involved is opening the bag of chips and dumping them onto a plate. We were both more offended at the lie than the wait. LASTLY. The little game at the bar took my cash and gave me no gamin’.

I was at this Applebees a year ago and it was a dump. I went back with some friends(their idea) and this place has done a 180. Staff new what they were doing. It was clean. They don’t let the teenagers hang out all night. The food was good. I work in the area and will be back for lunches and happy hours.
