Established in 1987.

Jeff Richter was at Tony’s side when he opened the doors for business in 1987. Jeff has been The Repairman for Anthony’s since that historic day while running his own full service shop, then, in Minneapolis and currently in Siren, Wisconsin.

Richter & Sons have no plans of changing the iconic name but rather look forward to running Anthony’s like a well oiled rocking chair as it has been, for the past 3 decades.

Please stop in and meet Jeff, Dawn, Sam and Mo — and Bob The Dog if he is in town.

Business Owner

Anthony’s owner as of March 2014, Jeff Richter, has years of experience in the restoration and repair arena. He has been restoring furniture since he was a teenager, when he started his apprenticeship under Steve Sherman of L. P Sherman & Sons in south Minneapolis. He quickly found his love of the woodworking trade and excelled under Sherman’s tutorage. In 1987 Mr. Sherman retired and Anthony’s Furniture was opened with Jeff by their side. Tony and Jeff met through their respective work with Sherman and became friends. Later that year, Jeff opened his full service shop, Richter Furniture Restoration. The shop was first located in Minneapolis and for the last ten years, in Siren WI. During this time Jeff remained The Repairman for Anthony’s. In 2014 Tony retired and turned to Jeff as a trusted friend and colleague to buy the shop, knowing that he would continue to provide quality service and outstanding results, living up to the reputation that Anthony’s has developed over the years.
