A Lasting Impression

I purchased a groupon for floor buffing and polishing. When the man arrived this morning (a half hour late to boot), I was told that there would be an additional fee of $ 700. I offered up the groupon multiple times to the man who came.
He told me then it would be an additional $ 120. SO like a fool, i paid them. Left for work. got a call an hour later saying, they weren’t going to do any work unless they got ANOTHER $ 280.
I’d never use these guys again. OVercharges, lies. Even talked with supervisors and they were the least helpful of anyone I spoke with. Never again!

I had a terrible experience with this company, even before they touched a paint brush… I purchased 2 coupons for 6 hour job from Groupon. Tried calling them almost daily, for 3 weeks, to schedule. Finally someone picked up the phone and scheduled the appointment but failed to show up or call on the day he was supposed to. After waiting and calling 6 more times, someone finally answered the next day and said they let the receptionist go since she wasn’t answering calls and the person that was supposed to come had an emergency. I was shocked by their dismissive attitude when I said that «it was not professional to let a customer wait and never call them». Their excuses seemed very lame for their lack of professionalism. I didn’t care to find out if it also transferred to the quality of their painting. I don’t believe this company can handle the workload generated by this coupon. I immediately called and cancelled my Groupon vouchers.

Had a gentleman come in for 7 hours to paint a ceiling and walls. While we certainly had some tough areas for painting, I never expected such a poor job. Five spills on the carpet to start. Can’t even begin to count the missed spots and then some areas didn’t get a second coat at all. It’s unfortunate as the person that came in to paint was kind, clean and personable. Clearly his painting skills were below average.

My wife found their coupon on CrowdCut. We decided to hire them to paint our living room and it looks fantastic.
Greg, our painter, went well above and beyond what we expected. He was friendly and efficient. It was very refreshing to have someone working in our home who took such pride in his work.
I rarely run into company’s who provide such good customer service and take pride in delivering a high quality end product. It’s a breath of fresh air when I do. We’d certainly hire A Lasting Impression again, and would be happy to refer them to friends and family.

Got a coupon for this company off of Town Hog and saw this as a good opportunity to try them out. So glad I did! It was all in the details! So neat, precise, prompt, considerate, professional! Hiring a contractor of any type is always a crap shoot and Ryan Zedler and his team of painters is a sure bet.
