History

Established in 1993.

Jeff Martin class A contractor started building trade soon out of High school in 1975. In 1982 he completed 4 year apprentiship program thru the HomeBuilders in richmond va. and becoming a Journeymen carpenter. In 1982 was married and move to Destin fla. he and his wife Jean lived, worked, setup 2 business while in the panhandle of fla for 9 years. Jeff built homes in the Seaside developement near santarosa beach and condos at Sandestin, 1990 the couple moved back to virginia started a family and reopened the construction company as Southern Image Design Builders Both husband wife worked together as team giving clients personal service and custom designs. In 1995 the team and family moved to Montepelier and refurbished a 100 year farm house, while still building custom homes, 2003 the couple and the business moved to Lake Anna, Virginia. currently still reside and run Southern Image Design Builders Inc. board Members of lake anna business partnership and louisa habitat for humanity

Me and my wife Jean live at lake Anna Va. Our full service design/​build firm does mostly custom homes and remodeling. Jeff started in the construction business in the early 70’s and went thru a state apprentiship for four years. He meet Jean at VCU in Richmond Va. while she was going to art school, studing Theater Design. We got married in May of 1982 and then moved to Destin Fla. to live .Jeff worked for several builders, then started J.M.Construction and built several custom homes in the Destin/​FortWalton Beach/​Seaside area. They returned to Va. in 1990 when they had their son Jacob. We moved to Montpelier and started Southern Image Design /​Builders. They have built several homes in the Western Hanover area. Moved to Lake Anna, where they built their own home. The team of Southern Image Design/​Builders is like no other aroundLake Anna, you get both an interior designer and a home builder all in one.
