History

Established in 1976.

Dr. Weiss has been creating beautiful smiles in the East Williston and Mineola area for over 30 years. He has a passion for orthodontics and loves treating patients with his dedicated staff. Born and raised in New York and living in Westbury, he receives great pleasure in seeing the smiles of patients that he has treated over a lifetime of his work.

Dr. Steven Luccarelli loves his work and with new technology and a new facility, he loves it even more now than ever. He has been practicing orthodontics in the East Williston and Mineola area for over 20 years. His vision of excellent treatment is for his patients to have a beautiful, healthy smile with an experience that is nothing short of exceptional. He wants you to feel at home and feel as though you were treated like family.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Weiss & Dr. Luccarelli! I was nervous starting my orthodontic treatment at age 22, having just started working full-​time, but the office worked to determine the best treatment option for me – I completed approximately 9 months of Invisalign and 2 months of traditional braces. The doctors and hygienists were always clear and honest about my progress, always willing to answer questions, and worked hard to keep me on track to finish when I expected to. They were also extremely accommodating with appointments given the fact that I work and live in Manhattan. I am SO pleased with my final results and can’t wait to show off my new smile.

I always feel very welcome at every appointment. I am on my 7th month of the Invisalign treatment, and what a pleasant experience it has been for me thus far! The front desk, doctors and assistants are always smiling and so very nice. It’s one of those (rare) appointments I do not dread going to! So happy I made the decision to come to this office due to not only the beautiful office and wonderful people working there, but the professionalism and skill of both orthodontists. So very excited to see my end result!

Used to be a dental cripple. This has been the most wonderful experience. I had invisalign for 11 months followed by old fashioned braces covered with ceramics. Wore these for a few short weeks. I was a 46 year old woman who had been thinking about braces for years as my mouth was overcrowded and my teeth had shifted terribly even though I wore braces as a teen. My two boys had used Weiss & Luccarelli for their braces and they both have gorgeous smiles but they had much simpler cases than mine.
After having four teeth pulled to make more space in my mouth, we began treatments. Every 3 weeks I would have an appointment where they would install the latest contraption to move the process along and achieve the optimal results. Now 2 years later, I am thrilled with the results! I am getting so many compliments — my whole facial structure has changed and my mouth now closes properly.
The entire office staff is wonderful from the minute you walk in until the minute you leave. They are very professional and the offices are hi-​tech and beautiful. I always went in the morning and pretty much never had to wait.
Most importantly, Drs Weiss and Luccarelli really care. Every time I was there, they both checked on my progress and were genuinely excited for my results. I was not your «cookie cutter» case and they both took extra time and care consulting with each other to make sure everything was perfect.

I went to Dr. Luccarelli when I got engaged. I wanted to be sure I had no regrets when I got married, and I knew my smile would be a big part of the wedding day! Dr. Lucc and his whole team gave me an incredible smile with Invisalign, and I am so so so thankful. I’ll go over some details below – but just shortly, if you are thinking of Invisalign for any reason, Dr. Lucc is THE BEST.
Dr. Lucc was recommended to me by another exceptional dentist, so I was excited to see what he was like and what he could do. When I walked into his office, I knew I was in good hands. His whole staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You can see everyone loves working there and takes a lot of pride in what they do. The atmosphere is like no other dentist I’ve ever been to – everyone is so happy to be there! And the office is beautiful and comfortable. You can see that Dr. Lucc and his staff really care.
As far as the actual orthodontic work, I couldn’t be more happy with each and every appointment, as well as the final result. I had some pretty bad crowding, and I wasn’t sure how it would be possible to fix it with Invisalign, but Dr. Lucc and his staff explained every part of the procedure to me (in the beginning and while they were working). Everyone handled me with a lot of care. I rarely had to wait, and I never felt any appointment was rushed. Each step in the process was as painless as possible, and the staff made sure that I knew what was happening and why. Everyone was so knowledgeable. Dr. Lucc wasn’t satisfied until my teeth were absolute perfection. It’s clear that Dr. Lucc and his staff are experts with Invisalign and have a passion for what they do.
Final results: Not only were my teeth perfect for the tons of photos taken at my wedding, I continue to get compliments to this day. I’ve had complete strangers tell me how beautiful my teeth and smile are, and I give all credits to Dr. Lucc.
I would give him and his staff all the stars in the sky if Unilocal allowed me to!

The staff is awesome, there’s not much of a wait, the building is beautiful. Dr. Luccarelli even called me the day after my first appointment to see how I was doing. I couldn’t be happier.

Drs. Weiss and Lucarelli and their staff are fantastic! My kids absolutely love them. My daughter’s teeth came out amazing — she is thrilled. Not only are Dr. Weiss and Dr. Lucarelli great with the kids, but they also take the time to address any concerns we as parents have. They are always accessible. Had my braces done 12 years ago. I’m now 22 and have been getting compliments on my teeth ever since I finished treatment here. The doctors are the sweetest, most diligent people I’ve ever worked with. They really strive for perfection and making sure you are happy. I’ve had friends get their braces done in other offices and I have to say, the results are not the same. If you are looking for a fun, satisfying experience that will last you a lifetime, this is the office to go to.

I’ve been going to Dr Weiss & Lucarelli’s Mineola office based on a family member’s recommendation last year. I ended up getting Invisalign with Dr. Lucarelli.
While I initially explored various orthodontists around the area, I was immediately impressed by Dr. Lucarelli’s honest and easy-​going approach. From the initial consultation, he clearly laid out everything that I needed to know and provided an extensive assessment. I also appreciated the transparency, especially hearing about some dodgy practices of other providers. He was always accessible by phone and was patient in going over any questions I had. Throughout the year, he was courteous and personable whenever I had an appointment. I’ve also met Dr. Weiss several times and he’s great too. Their large staff of assistants is helpful as well.
The office is great. It has a clean and spacious waiting area. The staff at the reception desk is always friendly. The back area has a row of patient seats– it’s an open area, which initially sounds strange, but actually works very well in practice. They have the latest technology and equipment, which bolsters your confidence going into a consultation. While I’m not sure how the office’s track record is with ceramic braces, they received the Elite Preferred Invisalign provider badge which signals that they have a lot of experience in the past with Invisalign. This definitely showed in the way they managed and streamlined the process.
What I appreciate most about the office is the flexibility it provides. I traveled a lot this past year and they were more than willing to accommodate (sudden appointments needing to be scheduled, more aligners, etc.). The willingness to cater to the patient’s expectations is a big plus. All my appointments were short (which I wanted), but I’m sure if a patient wanted to ask more questions and get more information, the staff would have been more than willing to oblige.
I just wanted a place I could trust to get my teeth straightened, without a head-​ache. So far, it’s gone by without a hitch and I have complete confidence in these orthodontists’ competence. I’d highly recommend them if you’re considering any orthodontic work!
