History

Established in 2007.

When we bought the land in 2007, there were only two dilapidated court yard buildings still standing along with a steel shop building. Phases 1 involved clearing the debris and junk strewn all over the 5 acres, renovating the 2 court yard buildings, converting the steel shop into an office and apartment and laying the ground work for roads, pads, electrical, septic and water. We opened for business in January 2008 and have continued to lovingly improve the park on a daily basis. Starting with one customer and then two and gradually increasing as we continued our various phases, we have served and been pleased to meet hundreds of travelers from all walks of life, from all over the world. We have confirmed what we already knew: RV travelers and RV full-timers are always wonderfully friendly!

Meet the Business Owner

Jan N.

Business Owner

Don and Jan Nicholas are the owners, builders, chief bottle washers and anything else you can think of. Don is the park guru of building, maintaining and improving and basically all of the ‘outside’ stuff. Thourgh his major efforts and ‘vision’, the park has developed from a junky overgrown mess into a beautiful RV park. Jan’s primary focus is office administration and markting and she created and maintains the website and does her best to market Mineola, the surrounding areas and Somewhere RV Park.
