My mom and I visited the shop last night and met with Joe S. We had such a fantastic appointment. Joe immediately understood the theme I was going for. We collaborated using images I’ve pinned on Pinterest with what he’s done in the past and taking the high ceilings of our room into account.
He was so accommodating and welcoming. He wasn’t afraid to be honest. He made us feel comfortable and confident in his abilities; which to me is the 2^nd most important thing next to quality of the finished product. This is one thing that is out of my control, but I left having no fear everything would look perfect.
They really deserve 5 stars, but I only gave 4 bc I won’t see the final bouquets and Centerpieces until the end of August, but I look forward to adding the last star :)

This review is based on my initial consultation with Joseph. We did not go with their services. Upon entering the showroom they were very polite and on time. Joseph mainly focused on what I wanted and shared my vision. However as excited as I was that he understood exactly what I wanted, it was crazy expensive for a seemingly basic package (bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaid bouquets, groom boutonnière, 5 groomsman boutonnieres, parents flowers and 18 centerpieces)! They didn’t really offered to work with our budget, and we were quickly ushered out once I said «this is a bit over what we are willing to spend». I found other event florists offering more for less and worked with our budget.
If you have a large budget to work with, check them out since they are the house florist for many event halls in long island. Joseph did seem to know our venue like the back of his hand.
I also find it funny when speaking about the design he totally ignored my fiancé and focused on me. But when it came time to discuss the cost he focused on my fiancé. Lols

Flowers by Brian. Where do I begin?
Our wedding was in September 2013, over two years ago. And to this day the way I was treated after spending well over $ 10,000.00 on flowers still deeply upsets me.
Admittedly, upon my first flower consultation I was sold. I met with a gentleman named Joseph and him and I were just on the same page as to everything I was envisioning for my big day. I am very big on attention to detail and being that I had a larger space to fill and am a very particular person my parents were willing and able to go above and beyond to make our wedding the most luxurious and romantic day of our lives and an event for all to remember and to me flowers are the most important part of it all. I booked on the spot. With about 8 months to go before the big day.
I had requested the following:
Tall cascading center pieces with deep jewel toned flowers with touches of ivory and white
As many orchards as possible
Orchards in the glass portion of the vase with up lighting
REAL crystals dripping down from the tall center pieces
3 high and low cylinders with floating candles and orchards within those
Every plate was to have an orchard on it, placed on top of the napkin/​menu
Smaller votives on the table
Our sweetheart table was to have a cascading water fall of jewel toned flowers mixed with ivory and cylinder candles on the top (I reiterated that I literally did not want to see any part of my table I wanted a complete covered water fall)
Bouquets: I wanted a cascading waterfall bouquet of orchards and crystals and two tear drops for my maids of honors and 4 regular round ones for the rest of my girls **PLEASE NOTE THE FLOWERS COMPLETELY FELL OUT OF MINE PRIOR TO WALKING DOWN THE ISLE** we had to keep finding them and shoving them back in.
There was supposed to be fabric draped going across the dance floor with lighting within
For the Church: we requested tulle drops with bouquets of flowers on every other row and four full baskets for the alter (two tall two smaller) in white and ivory flowers.
Cake was to be decorated with flowers (that never happened)
And there were so many other details and things I requested as well but I won’t bore you with further rambling of my expectations.
All and all at the time of booking I was very confident that I made the right decision with flowers by Brian. Until I had to call them to book my sample consultation when I basically had shock therapy: Joseph had quit and no one knew what I was requesting for my wedding. REALLY?!? You would think when someone leaves a business you would contact all their brides and explain to them the situation and ask them to come back in to discuss their vision for the most important day of their lives!
Basically: flowers by Brian took my hefty deposit and forgot about me and basically hoped they could just steel my money and I’d go away. You don’t wait I two weeks before someone’s wedding to drop news like that on an already busy overwhelmed bride! And the fact I had to contact them to remind them that I booked with them is just overall bad business.
They set me up with Fabiola who was a bit on the rude side. It seemed as if she didn’t have the time of day for me. If it wasn’t so close to my wedding I would have tried to go else where but my hands were tied. I had to go back 3 times to get my center pieces right and who has time for that two weeks out? AND I was charged more money! Her excuse for raising the prices were «Joseph was just really good at booking people and telling them what they want to hear». Really?! I just went with it in hopes it would all work out in the end and it didn’t.
My tall cascading center pieces were small, they put plastic crystals on them which was just so cheap looking especially bc she charged me an extra $ 350 for real tear drop crystals. My bouquet fell apart as well as the moh’s, the tulle going across the dance floor was awkwardly draped on the outside of the dance floor with no lights in them and it looked like a hoedown (keep in mind I spent $ 1500.00 on that alone). My waterfall sweetheart table was just a small simple centerpiece with candles and the church bouquets were small as well. I was just crushed and so let down.
With the money I spent and the shock therapy Flowers By Brian put me through I really though I’d be wowed and that I made the right decision. When I confronted Fabiola with my concerns she challenged everything I said to her and asked for photos of the fake crystals bc all I did request out of the comedy of errors was my money back for those. And nothing. No reply to my emails, no return phone calls.
Flowers by Brian is great at the time of booking and they promise you the world and I’m sure are great for smaller less attention to detail cookie cutter events but not for the bride who is looking for someone to be true to their word and to not be completely forgotten about. I could go on forever about my disappointment.

Flowers by Brian did an amazing job for my wedding at Leonard’s in Great Neck!!! I couldn’t have been more happy everything was so beautiful especially my bouquet! :)

They did an unbelievable job for my wedding! Danielle was a blessing to work with and made everything so stress free! I would recommend Flowers By Brian to anyone and will be using them exclusively for any future events!

Flowers by Brian did a wonderful job with my event. Danielle was able to help me from beginning to end and always made time for my questions. She really made me feel as though my event was important, not just another paycheck. Thank you to the entire staff for being courteous and coming up with ideas to wow my guests! The flowers were gorgeous and it definitely looked like I paid double! I’m so glad my friend recommended Danielle!

Joe Campbell is the way to go! He did my wedding this past Sunday and my flowers were amazing. From the «toss bouquet» to the centerpieces, everything looked amazing. Not one complaint! They were honest, reliable and met all of my requests. I highly recommend!

I’m really sorry to see negative reviews on this florist! I got married in Great Neck this past NYE and I was so pleased with not only Flowers By Brian but SPECIFICALLY Joseph Campbell who was the florist I worked with. I had sat with 2 other florists, and not only was their pricing the most reasonable, but Joseph reassured me over and over again that I would have and AMAZING set up on the budget given. He and I went over detail by detail what I wanted in my chuppah, down to the handling candles I decided on literally DAYS before my wedding. We went over my centerpieces and I was able to see them one month before and make any changes I wanted. I stopped and saw my bouquets the day before the wedding and they were outstanding. People are still raving about how beautiful my chuppah was and how gorgeous my room looked. ASK FOR JOSEPH CAMPBELL! He was so wonderful to work with! Thank you guys for making my wedding so incredibly stunning! I’ll never forget it!

Flowers by Brian really pulled it off. I know I’m not the easiest to deal with, but I knew what I wanted and I made it clear to them that. I dealt with Joe the entire time through and Greg who was there at the end to set everything up. I know Daniele there as well who is great and assisted a bit to ensure I was getting what I wanted! My chuppah came out out amazing and all my guests couldn’t stop talking about it! I drove joe crazy with colors as I only wanted white and ivory. He made everything perfect. Greg was running around getting everything done and making sure it was exactly like I wanted it. I was a bit worried in the beginning but he did everything he promised and flowers by Brian for sure deserves my 5stars!!!

Please think twice if you are considering this company. If i could give a negative star review for this company, i would. We were referred to Flowers By Brian by our venue, which uses them as a house vendor. Our first initial meeting with Joe Salerno was fantastic. We went over every single detail and he was extremely helpful and informative. He gave suggestions and rolled with the ideas we had for our wedding ceremony and reception. As the months and planning went on we had some changes and Joe was more then accommodating. For the flowers all we wanted was purple and white hydrangeas. Simple, pretty, and they would have to be «hazed» in order to look purple. We were provided pictures as what to expect. When we went to see our «mock up» of what our centerpieces were going to look like they looked terrible. After we discussed that we did not like the lack of attention to detail with the hazing, they redid them and they did look purple. On the day of the wedding everything looked great, the bouquets were gorgeous, our altar piece was beautiful, until we went into the reception room. The flowers were blue. not purple, BLUE. I dont know if it was something with the pray paint, or the water, or if the flowers were old, but they were blue. Someone from the venue called Flowers By Brian and they happened to still be at the venue. I went into the reception room and i actually heard the one worker say to the other «These are supposed to be purple» The guy knew that the flowers were not purple. They attempted to fix the error but almost all of them were still blue. Instead of removing the flowers and hazing them again, they re-​hazed the already blue flowers, which made them look darker, and turned them into a dark, navy blue. We contacted Flowers By Brian and told them what happened. They asked for pictures, which i provided, and it took them 2 weeks to get back to us. When we were contacted by Joe regarding the error and our disappointment he told us that there was nothing they could do for us. He told us that we signed a contract and we knew that the flowers could possibly come out different then expected. All he did was give use excuses and refer back to the contract, which we agreed upon, and tell us there’s nothing he can do for us. I know i signed a contract, but we paid a lot of money for these flowers and they were not what they were supposed to be. The lack of compassion and attention to detail by this company is astounding. to make a long story short, they just didnt care. We paid them, the party was over, they were done with us. The only compensation we were offered was a bouquet of flowers to our house. DO NOT CHOOSE this company.

Firstly, let me just say that out of all the things about our wedding, our flowers were THE most beautiful. I had the pleasure of working with Rachel, who was a complete sweetheart and listened to all my questions, needs, and concerns. I told her I wanted super bright centerpieces and she came up with amazing suggestions. When I went in to view the centerpieces, if there was anything I didn’t like, they fixed it on the spot and changed it until I was completely satisfied. As far as the price goes, it was what flowers would typically cost for a wedding, I shopped around. But what I loved about Flowers By Brian was that they don’t charge you by the flower, they import EVERY flower so it doesn’t matter which type you choose, it all costs the same. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I wish the bouquets for my bridesmaids and myself were a little brighter. I had decided what I wanted and when it came time to view them, I wished the color was more vibrant, but it was too late to import other flowers. However, they worked with me for a while to «bling» up the bouquets and they turned out beautifully too. Everyone who attended the wedding told me how beautiful they thought it all was, and I couldn’t be happier. HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants stunning flowers for their occasion!

Wonderful florist, had an event and they were very professional, helpful, had a great selection and great service.

Recently I had a friend who went through a hard time. After years of using 1−800-Flowers for flower deliveries I decided to use a local company. I gave a Flowers by Brian Express site a shot. By far these were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. Thank you Flowers by Brian for bringing a little beauty to a rough time!

Here are the facts:
1) Ordered flowers for my bridesmaids: pinks and yellow. Groomsmen were ordered some type of off-​white flower.
2) On the wedding day the bridesmaids arrived purple and yellow. One of my least favorite combinations and not what I ordered. The groomsmen were orange. Yes, orange.
3) When I called to speak to Brian about the mix-​up, I was told he was «helping another customer.»
4) They did deliver new for the groomsmen, but they couldn’t fix the bridesmaids.
5) My husband’s boutineer died within an hour, before we left the church.
I will say he did a fabulous job with my bouquet and the reception flowers, but the overall experience was total nonsense and I would never recommend using him even if he were the last florist on Long Island. He was also really expensive.
I got married over 9 years ago and this was really the only thing I got annoyed at. I wasn’t a crazy bride, I just wanted what I ordered. Too bad Brian was «helping another customer» and couldn’t speak to me. Almost a decade of potential referrals I have now sent elsewhere.

We worked with Joe Campbell for my wedding at the Crest Hollow this May. Joe was absolutely brilliant. In talking about my style, my dress and the vision we had he came up with floral arrangements that were beyond my wildest dreams. My fiances mother was very much into flowers and she cried upon seeing what our room looked like– it was the party she always wanted to throw. I felt like I was in a magazine wedding and will forever cherish the beautiful chuppah and sweetheart table Joe created. I would recommend them 100x over. Thank you Joe and the Brian team!

Flowers by Brian had a hand in making our wedding the headache that it became.
We were promised, time and time again, a particular look and flower arrangement. By the time the day had arrived, nothing we had ordered made it, the set up staff was unhelpful, and they did nothing to work with us afterwards.
Now a day immortalized in photos can be remembered by lack luster and over priced center pieces, and a barren wedding cake.

Me, my fiancé and my mom went to flowersbybrian showroom to talk to someone about flowers for our wedding so we sat down and started showing the pictures we had, then she took us in the showroom and wanted us to pick something totally different then what we want. So she said she would talk to the boss and find out pricing and email me with a quote. So I got to work this morning and got an email from one of their sales people saying that the owner does not feel comfortable with it the arrangement we are selecting the look and style of the representative of the style and design that flowers by Brian is known for is not something they do and so unfortunately is not something that the designer is willing to take on, so disappointed cause they are suppost to be one of jericho terraces one number flower vendors.

After a slightly rocky start, I worked with Joseph C and had an amazing experience! They did everything they could to make me happy, and that they did. My bouquet was amazing, and the décor on my cake was EXACTLY what i asked for. Everything from the décor in my house, church décor and centerpieces were perfect. Thank you Flowers by Brian!

I wanted to give FBB a 5 star rating.
I found FBB at a wedding showcase that my fiancé and I attended at Jericho Terrace and decided to go with this flower vendor based on their table décor. In my opinion it was the best flower table at the venue. And being that it was a preferred vendor for my venue I wanted to choose someone that was already familiar with the venue we were having our wedding.
We worked with Fabiola for over a year. I enjoyed working with her because she kept it realistic, and also listened to all of the ideas I had. She gave her opinion and we listened to her because of her experience with flowers and our venue.
I was able to have two showings before the wedding. The first one I wasn’t «wow’d» and Fabiola made sure to say, «If you don’t like it… we will have you come in until you do.» I loved that she said that! The second showing was perfect. It was everything that I requested, and gorgeous centerpieces. I went with HIGH and LOW centerpieces.
My bridal party bouquets, boutonnieres, and my wedding bouquet were flawless!
I would definitely refer anyone to this florist.
