So a washer/​seal in a shower head failed, and the shower was leaking. (I’m certain that this was my fault; I think I over-​tightened it.)
I brought in the leaking shower head and showed them the cracked seal. The worker immediately went to another box of surplus shower heads and pulled out a new washer and gave it to me. NO charge. Wow.
Then I asked her how I could avoid screwing this up when I re-​installed it. She cheerfully gave me a detailed procedure for removing the old seal, installing the new one, and properly re-​installing the shower head. Again, no charge. And again, wow.
Truly fantastic small-​town service. You can’t beat it.
When we get ready to upgrade faucets and/​or bathroom fixtures, we’re going to buy everything at Faucets and Fixtures.
