Coldwell Banker Select Real Estate

We sold our home and bought a new one using Teresa Chamness, who works out of the Minden office. We first met her when she was showing a home across the valley and were impressed with how much research she had done about the home she was showing. If there was a question we asked to which she didn’t know the answer, she didn’t try to shine us on. Instead she followed up and got the answer to us within a very short time. Her energy and enthusiasm were joyful and never pushy, unlike some of the agents we met in this area. She was quick to point out features we might have missed, but didn’t try to oversell them.
Although we started out looking for a home for our brother, we soon realized we wanted to downsize and asked Teresa to be our agent. Her patience as we tried to find the right place in which to move was very much appreciated. She was always prompt in setting up appointments to view homes, or to do research about an area we were considering.
Teresa arranged for some really incredible photos to be take of the home we were selling. She also understood some of our quirks, like not wanting to have an open house. She always tried to give us plenty of lead time when our home was to be viewed, but never assumed that just because someone had a last minute request that we wouldn’t go out of our way to accommodate the potential buyer. Everything worked out very smoothly.
Teresa is on top of technology, effectively using email and texts to communicate because reaching us by phone at times was a real challenge. Her humor and patience was appreciated when I accidentally hung up on her when trying to answer my cell phone (more than once.)
As the sale of our old home and purchase of our new home came to a close, Teresa’s support never waned. Even weeks after our move, she would check in to be sure things were going smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with her, or the company she works with, Caldwell Banker Select.

Shane Martin is as good as it gets (real estate agent and I consider him a friend).
Coming from the bay area, where they do nothing for you, Shane move mountains and helps the average Joe out.
When a huge storm system hit, he rushed there to take pictures and ensure that there was no damage. Unlike other agents, Shane is patient, consistent follow through, and not working to line his pockets but for the interest of his clients.
He is clearly a standard for others (especially those who follow Mike Ferry… YUCK) to follow.

Ethical, low key kind of guy who even wears Clark Kent type of sunglasses.
Mind mannered, but superman when it comes to his clients!!!
