Acanthus Fabrics And Upholstery

I have a 1997 boat that needed a bench seat redone. Been wanting to take care of this for years, but was reluctant to end up with a mis-​matched job, so put it off. A friend in a similar situation had just had some replacement work done by Acanthus on his boat and it turned out great so I figured it was time. Even though it was not a big job, Doug, the owner, and Heather took their time to find the perfect color and texture match from their huge library of samples. The material was ordered that day, which they expected to arrive in less than a week, but told me they were about 4 – 5 weeks out in scheduling the job. They would call when they were ready for me to bring in the seat. Exactly a month later they called, took the seat in at 10AM and got the call around noon the next day to pick it up. Turned out perfect, workmanship and match! I think the guy who complained on a previous review thought he was too special to wait his turn, so shame on him!

Brought in 2 RV lounge chairs for modification. The back cushion was way too fat and was attached all the way around. Typical RV crap. Doug, the owner, figured out a way to take the chopped foam (which would have deteriorated rapidly) out and replace it with a quality solid foam piece. The chairs turned out great and the cost was actually less than the quote. Totally pleased.

Beautiful showroom with a vast selection of fabrics to choose from. We had two chairs upholstered and while it was pricey, we couldn’t be happier. Excellent craftsmanship and the owner was very helpful.
