With ever-​changing flavors of frozen yogurt and over 60 tasty toppings — ranging from fresh-​cut fruit and crunchy cereal to warm chocolate and caramel syrup — the only thing bigger than your eyes is your imagination.

History

Established in 2012.

Yo Factory is run by twins Jeremy and Justin Packee.

Being fans of frozen yogurt ourselves, we wanted to design a unique way for everybody to enjoy it. That’s why we decided to put you in charge! By taking any flavor of Yo Factory Premium Frozen Yogurt (or all of them) and adding fresh and tasty toppings, you can create your own delicious piece of edible art.

We are looking to provide a contemporary, yet lounge-​like atmosphere where you can loosen up and enjoy some of the delicious products we have to offer. We provide a comfortable area to relax and chat with your friends, or to enjoy our free wi-​fi.

Many other tasty menu items are available at Yo Factory such as organic fair trade tea and coffee, hand made cookies, and real chocolate hot chocolate.

At Yo Factory we encourage you to be creative, your taste buds will thank you.

I am a co-​owner of Yo Factory Frozen Yogurt along with my brother Justin and dad Dan at 2203 N. Farwell Ave. I like the Packers, Brewers, skateboarding, biking, snowboarding, photography, design, and acting.

I love everything Milwaukee.

Hands down, favorite frozen yogurt place in the Milwaukee area. They always serve Original Tart, which gives them mega points in my book. The texture on the Froyo is wonderful (creamy) and the sorbet quality high (smooth). They always have a nice variety of flavors. The toppings are excellent. The fruit is always fresh, and mochi/​gummies are soft and chewy. You can tell they don’t let their toppings sit out and go stale (also very important with the cookie dough/​brownie bites). The location also serves Rishi Teas — and they know that temperature differences exist for different tea types. If you love coconut, try the coconut oolong, it’s amazing.
They are also involved with the community, supporting fundraisers. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They make this place a cut above the rest of the other frozen yogurt businesses.

Splendid variety of toppings, good selection of Froyo flavor options, to be honest I’m at the point where I should probably skip the Froyo, and just fill my cup with toppings LOL. Prices aren’t out of the ordinary. I can always find parking nearby as well, which is another plus.

Of all the frozen yogurt places that have popped up over the last few years, Yo-​Factory is by far the best.
Puppy Chow (muddy buddies) and Cinnamon Toast Crunch were the amazing flavors available on my first visit, and both were perfection. Since then I’ve enjoyed vibrant classics line Pink Lemonade, Blue Moon (not like the beer), and Cake Batter. Most of which are lo– to no fat!
Smoothies are available, but the ultimate bonus to me is their selection of coffee drinks and quality local tea selections. The prices are right, the staff is ALWAYS friendly, and the overall vibe is very cool. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to satisfy a sweet tooth!

A perfectly laid back casual cute little place with impressive toppings for your many flavors of yogurt. Also a great innovation: a divider for your yogurt cup, because some flavors shouldn’t be mixed. I love the thoughtfulness in that and also mini cups for tasting before you commit, and books, toys and games for kids.

This frozen yogurt DIY bar is a Very welcoming and cozy spot. The atmosphere is closer to a café than your typical fro-​yo place. In fact, they offer quite a nice selection of coffee drinks. My favorite flavors are banana bread and espresso.

Normal yogurt, but everything was good! Unlimited taste cups, because they were just there. Lol. Clean place, I love the board games there, and the juke box. Also, the employees were friendly. So good job!

Fro yoooooo, Yo Factory is great! There is always a range of flavors to pick from and they offer three different sized bowls which is nice. Their topping selection is legit (puppy chow, cheesecake, brownies, nomzzzz). Bonus the store is always clean and employees are attentive.

I tried three of the yogurts, vanilla, tart and raspberry sorbet and also bought a wisco cold killer. Yuck and double yuck. The rasp sorbet tasted like perfume (mix wrong?) not sure, but the tart was just okay and the vanilla nothing to write home about. As for the Wisco cold killer, it was not good, a drink and small serving of yogurt 10.00 later and we didn’t finish either one. Won’t be going back.

After a recent newly discovered addiction to Frozen Yogurt, I’ve been a regular at the frozen yogurt shop on Water.
…BUT THIS PLACE WAS SO MUCH BETTER!

This makes my inner late-​teens white girl very happy.
I’ve been here a handful of times, and I could definitely become a regular. It’s cheap and completely customizable dessert. What’s not to like?
I love how they rotate flavors of fro yo. The cherry and pink lemonade are especially good, especially loaded up with fruit and bobas. I thought the cake batter flavor was a little on the heavy side, but it seems to be a favorite, since when I’m there I always see people choosing that one.
There’s a metric ton of toppings ranging from candies to fruit to sauces. You can mix and match to find something you’re into.
The staff is always super friendly, and I’ve never walked out paying more than $ 6.
On second thought, can you really write a substantive review about a serve your own froyo place? I’m struggling to find anything else to say. Whatever. Five stars.

Dear Yo Factory Staff, I love you. You are pretty and nice all the time. You are never impatient with me when I am suddenly indecisive at the register, even though I wouldn’t blame you if you were because that’s the worst. You bring smoothies to my lazy ass on the other side of the store, and sometimes you bring the extra that you accidentally made! You are honest about what’s good and what’s in your stuff. Let’s be real, I do not care if you handed me a cup of high fructose corn syrup. But you handed me a cup of pureed fruit and offered to let me see the container to prove it.
Maybe my standards are lower than my fellow Unilocalers, maybe those reviews are too old to have fully appreciated what Yo Factory currently has. Who knows. All I know is that the new sunshine has me wanting smoothies all the time. I haven’t even tried to frozen yogurt, which is insane because I love fro-​yo. I really want to spend the day «working» from here on my laptop with an unsuspecting boss out of town. And also drink like 4 smoothies.

Yo Factory is BY FAR one of my favorite spots in Milwaukee.
The atmosphere is just simply cool. They showcase art from local artists, bump some sweet tunes from their jukebox, and have lots of books and games to enjoy with friends. During summer the outdoor seating is limited, but awesome if you can snag a seat. Prime people watching spot.
They offer an ever-​changing flavor wall. They have your standards like Tart and Vanilla but they also offer some really unique flavors like Snickerdoodle, Toasted Coconut, and they’ve even had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor! My personal favorite is Cake Batter. Best part of all of this: they allow you to sample them! Pro tip: they post their flavors every day on their Instagram and Facebook!
Toppings here are awesome. They have cereal, cookie dough, fruit, candy, puppy chow (!), marshmallows, nuts, and nearly everything in between. Some of my personal favorites include the cheesecake bites, any flavor of boba, and the marshmallow sauce. They also have warm Nutella sauce!
While the regular yogurt in a dish with toppings is delicious, I would strongly recommend you try the fro yo shakes! You get to pick your own flavors and toppings and they mix it with some milk (soy is available) and voila! They’ll also mix the shake with some coffee/​espresso which is equally delicious.

Best frozen yogurt joint in town. Crazy amount of add on options. Friendly, laid back service that allows you time to taste test the yogurts. Found this place when I went to the U.S. bank up the road one day and Yo Factory had their people there giving out samples. Also serve coffee and «make your own» frappes. Just a cool place to hang out and enjoy a lower calorie dessert.
WARNING: Don’t park your car across the street at the out of date, 1970’s diner. They have a dude that sits on a stool and watches people who arn’t supposed to park there and he’ll follow you all the way into Yo Factory and tell you to move. Kind of silly to pay somebody to do that at 3:00 P.M. on a Wednesday.

Sometimes you just crave fro-​yo and luckily Yo Factory is just 3 blocks away from where I live. Plus they have a punch card. I love punch cards. It’s like winning a contest when you get your free reward.
They have a handful of flavors on the wall. They always have tart, vanilla, and chocolate, plus i think 5 others. Pistachio, peanut butter, cake batter, key lime, and some other fruity one were there last time I was in. Decent selection, though I wish they changed it up a bit.
On to the toppings. The winning topping is the hot Nutella they have right next to the weighing station. Who doesn’t love Nutella on fro-​yo?! Yumm! My go-to’s on toppings are usually something of the cookie nature, something on the chocolate side, and something with caramel notes. All represented nicely here. The topping bar can get a little overcrowded with the goodies and I definitely accidentally flipped my cookie dough into the brown sprinkle bin by mistake trying to get at it.
I’ve been to other fro-​yo places that keep their toppings a little more separate and some toppings a bit cooler to prevent sticking and making messes. Yo factory could def take that into future consideration.
They also have fresh fruit, cereal galore, and a bunch of different types of sauces to put on top! Not a bad variety.
And the reason I bumped it up for 4 stars… the staff has always been super nice! They say hello to you when you walk in, they’ll give you cups to try the flavor options and the cashiers are always there with a smile and an antidote if you’re in the mood for conversation.
Man now I want more fro-​yo… damn review making me remember how yummy it was. Will have to go back soon!

I’m addicted to yo factory.
Does it have all the toppings you could ever want? Nope.
Does it have a nice vibe and friendly employees? YOU BETCHA.
I’ve got a lot of feelings for yo factory and they are all positive. Something about the location, relaxed vibe and yummy froyo just does it for me.
They usually have the flavor themed by the season which just so happens to be October right now, which means I get my pumpkin fix. The pumpkin pie froyo is so satisfying.
To me, I love just getting the froyo plain so toppings are not a big deal for me. They do have a pretty wide selection, cereals, syrups, candies, nuts and fresh fruits. So if you’re into that, they do have a solid selection.
My boo and I go at least weekly if not more. Like the Facebook page and you can learn the favors they have on tap. Our favs: vanilla, chocolate, malted milk chocolate, cake batter, and PEANUT BUTTER.

It’s nice to finally find a yogurt place that’s close and within walking distance. I’m a yogurt lover and enjoy all the topping on-​top of plain yogurt.
Their plain yogurt has a strawberry taste to it which I don’t like, because when you think of plain it shouldn’t have a flavor. And they didn’t have a lot of fruit selections but overall the place was very clean. The staff was nice and friendly
I will be going back even if their plain has a strawberry flavor because I love YOGURT

BUTTERNUT MANGO SQUASH SMOOTHIE gets this place it’s 5 stars. Mango has always been the queen of all smoothies, and the one from Yo Factory has an army of ninja veggies you won’t know are there, plus is free of evil cream or sugar.
Other goods:
— vast selection of toppings: sweets, syrups, and more colors of sprinkles than are found in the rainbow.

I love frozen yogurt and have been to most of the places in Milwaukee. They are almost all identical. There is a bank of machines with 2 flavors plus a swirl option, then a toppings station. Every place is the same. And the frozen yogurt is delicious!
The reason this place gets 3 stars is because of the lack of flavors.
The 4 and 5 star places have far more flavors to choose from.
