History

Established in 2002.

Richard H, the owner, was telling his friend Bill about his idea to start a window contracting business that focused on quality, high performance locally sourced windows and Bill asked what the name would be. Richard responded that when working as a window installer the home owner often would say:“excuse me, Windowman.” when asking a question. Why not just name the business what the home owners were already calling him?!

Richard Hake, president of Windowman LLC, has worked in the window business since 1996. As a former factory installer for a prominent window manufacturer, he knows first hand the difference quality windows and custom installation can make to any home.
