The Point

The Point is an amazing space!!! Outdoor Tiki Bar (and it’s large!) with bonfire and beach-​scene. Inside is more fancy/​dancey with a ginormous disco ball suspended from the ceiling, U-​shaped couches that line the perimeter, and a stage.
The Point would be a great place for a private event — I’m thinking wedding reception, or a HUGE party or sorts. The space was well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly.
Drink prices were steep — unsure if that is due to the event I was attending or if that is what they normally charge. A tall rail vodka and cranberry was $ 7, I feel that is pretty high…
Overall, a cool space and I want to look into int as a wedding reception venue.

What a cool space. I was here as a stop on my pedal tavern and I didn’t even know it existed. There is a tiki bar outside (cash preferred outside) which has double the fun because of the current sandbox and pond. There are all your standard tailgating games, plus some bonuses like hulahoops! I am not a pro hulahooper, in case you were wondering. They have plans to sod the sandbox over so it will be a nice green space addition to the event stuff, but personally I like the sandbox. It goes well with the Corona. Or, alternatively, make the pond a pool and have the only lounge pool in MKE. Eh? I see dollar signs people…
The interior looks like a really cool space. It’s dark — no natural lighting, so probably not a great daytime event spot, but for evening and night things, yessir. There’s a giant disco ball, a small stage, some booth type seating long one wall, and a projection screen on one end. I could easily see things from weddings, to concerts, to our suggestion, which was Packer viewing parties with tailgating outside. How bomb would that be!!!
The staff we met were great — friendly, outgoing, helpful. Everything they should be for a space that isn’t even a month old. And the beer was cold.
I have super high hopes for this space.
