History

Established in 2009.

Size43 started in 2009 as a web development and video production boutique agency. We still help clients with web development, but recently, our services have been shifting towards filmmaking and helping people connect with others by crafting real stories for businesses and the people behind them.

Business Owner

I almost had a really bad accident with my actor on my first film shoot many years ago in college. When lighting a fire in a fire pit, don’t use unleaded fuel, it explodes. My actor survived unscathed, but I then realized I want to tell «real» stories, documentaries. Over the past ten years I have filmed and told many stories, from a documentary featured on PBS (local) called «The Hakala Brothers», about two modern day pioneers that live off the land, to a short story about a child with cystic fibrosis for Make-​A-​Wish Wisconsin. I tell stories with moving images and sound and I love it. I love learning about my subjects story, living it while filming, and being able to tell their story to use in whatever way fits. I want to learn more, constantly get better at my craft, and keep hearing and sharing the stories we all tell.
