I do a lot of driving for my job and its very important that my car be in top shape so every time I need an oil change this is the place I go. The staff is friendly and attentive and the work they do is just plain superior to any drive through oil change out there. If you care about your car bring it here.

Called right when they opened at 7 a.m. today, they got me in an hour later to patch a flat tire, and I was out of there before 9. And my tire isn’t flat anymore. FIVE STARS!
I think they work more often with commercial vehicles and trucks, but for what I needed, Quick Lane was convenient and quick (as advertised). As a bonus, they have free wifi in the waiting area so I was able to get some work done. My only other options were tire shops south on 27^th, and this location was much closer to home and to work. Would definitely head back for an oil change or if any other minor car issues come up.

They may be OK at oil changes but anything
beyond that is beyond them. Here’s my
NIGHTMARE trying to get a simple clunk
taken care of:
Thursday 7÷31÷14
I called and made an appt for 9 am Tuesday ⁸⁄₅
for a clunking sound in the front of my car when
making turns.
Tuesday 8÷5÷14
Dropped off car at 9 am.
They called and said problem was a Pitman arm
which they could replace but they couldn’t do
the front end alignment that day because too many
other vehicles needed them and I’d have to leave
the car OVERNIGHT even though I made an
appointment 6 days earlier for a front end issue.
Wednesday 8÷6÷14
They called around 10 am and told me the alignment
was done but that the stabilzer bar bushings were
marginal and should be replaced so I agreed.
At 5:30 pm, while I was on a bus on my way to pick
up my car, they called to say my car could not be
picked up and would have to be left OVERNIGHT
AGAIN. They had broken a bolt when trying to
replace the bushings. I’m not a mechanic but
it’s apparent they waited until the last minute
to do the work and in their rush didn’t want to
take the time to take a torch to the retaining
nut to try and break it loose. They just torqued
on it until the bolt sheered.
Thursday 8÷7÷14
I picked my car up at 2 pm.
After three days and $ 400 while trying to find a
parking spot near State Fair around 3:30 pm
I made a hard turn and the SAME CLUNKING
SOUND WAS STILL THERE.
Tuesday 8÷12÷14
I called and made an appointment to bring my car
back in at 9 am on Thursday August 14.
Thursday 8÷14÷14
Dropped the car off at 9 am.
At 10:30 they called and said it was a bad ball joint
that they «missed» during my initial visit. This
despite the fact that they gave me an inspection
sheet on Thursday 8÷7÷14 stating they checked the
ball joints and they were all OK. Either they lied
and didn’t inspect the ball joints (or all the other
things on the inspection sheet) or they are
incompetent at evaluating ball joints.
They called around 2 pm and said they replaced the
ball joint. I didn’t ask about doing a front-​end
alignment because I just assumed that they’d do
one because one is called for any time you replace
a ball joint. When I picked the car up there was
nothing on the bill about a front-​end alignment.
I asked the person taking my payment (who works in
the Badger Truck side of the operation) if a front-​end
alignment wasn’t always warranted when you replace
a ball joint and he said «I always thought so».
Another nearly $ 200 handed over and as I’m driving
my car home I had to keep a tight hold on the steering
wheel because it was pulling so hard to the left that
when I let go of the steering wheel I could watch the
steering wheel TURN TO THE LEFT BY ITSELF.
Needless to say I’m taking my car somewhere
else to spend even more money to get a front-​end
alignment.
Four days and $ 600 and my car was still not fixed
properly. Every time they worked on my car they
left it with problems that were easily discernable
with a short test drive. Clearly they don’t care
about the quality of their work or in doing right
by the customer. Not to mention the evidence that
they falsified an inspection report. There are a lot
of other places you can take your car. Don’t learn
the hard way like I had to.
Note that they are affiliated with Ford and I have
a very common Ford vehicle.

I’ve always had great service at Quick Lane, but was especially impressed with them when I recently brought in my car for a routine oil change. The car had been leaking oil, apparently caused during my last oil change at the local Valvoline when the service technician stripped the screw to the oil pan. Quick Lane fixed the issue quickly and correctly before it became an even bigger problem, and even had one of their service people drive me back to work (it was in the middle of the day). I will only be taking my car here for oil changes from now on.

This place is where it’s at. I go here for my oil changes and anything else that needs to be done. Unfortunately while I was out of town my muffler fell off, my only option was Midas *cringe*…I went they fixed it I drove home only to smell burning rubber and exhaust-​called these guys brought it in only to find out my OIL CAP WAS MISSING?! So midas throws a big fit that they check all my fluids and replaced my air filter but they just so happen to MISS THAT THE OIL CAP IS NOT ON?! My A**!! Thats how they scam people-​by messing with your car! Luckily these guys are awesome, helped me out, cleaned up all the oil mess and didn’t charge me. Perhaps they could see the pain in my eyes or perhaps it was the guy ahead of me who was also there after paying a visit to midas. Either way, go here. Honest and trusting mechanics are hard to come by esp with a woman in charge, at least I think she is. Kari is where it’s at-​customer service off the chain.

I really only ever took my car here on a fluke to get my oil changed, but the customer service has made it now one of my go to places. I have a Swedish car, and not just anyone can fix it, or will fix it, without charging me an arm and a leg. I liked that for their 21 $ oil change they also did a six-​point inspection, finding things that would be coming up in the near or very near future that need serviced. The first time they mentioned to me my brake pads were extremely thin, and I went to my regular mechanic to fix them. I came back again for an oil change and then other things were brought to my attention. One of them was an expensive job and I shopped around found, theirs was the best price! Julie at the front desk makes the experience fantastic. They better pay that girl top dollar.

Quick Lane seems to focus on commercial vehicles, but they offer services for regular commuter vehicles as well. They were busy and my oil change took about 45 mins, which is exactly how long they said it would take when I called. The oil change cost about $ 28. The 5^th oil change is free.
No up-​selling for unnecessary parts or services. I’ll be back.
