History

Established in 2012.

I moved back a year ago, after 5 years in one of America’s largest,

most well-​known cities. Returning, I realized that Milwaukee has evolved into a more vital, creative, energetic, youthful community. There’s a pride and a chic cache that comes with saying «I live in Milwaukee.» You find it as you walk around and see people with tattoos of the skyline on their arm, or wearing t-​shirts of favorite local businesses. People even embrace the Allen-​Bradley clock tower, calling it the Polish moon.

Milwaukee is our home, and we love it here. So I created a one off, a

hoodie designed for Scott for Christmas. When he wore it, people approached him, asking where he got it. They loved it, and they wanted it. So we started making more to see what would happen. And here we are now, just a little company trying to represent the love we have for the city we call HOME..

I lived in Milwaukee from 1998 – 2002 when I attended MIAD. Then eventually I moved to Florida and lived there for 5 years and ended up moving back to Milwaukee February of 2011… the weekend the Packers won the Super Bowl. I chose to move back because this is home for me. When I attended MIAD, there was not much going on in the city, especially in the Third Ward but, when I moved back from Florida, it was like a whole new world. Milwaukee was actually cool to live in and I finally felt settled: like this is where I belonged. Milwaukee is home for me… it’s the people and the community that makes it special… and you’ll never find another place like this. Scott, my business partner, too had moved away from the city for quite some time and once he moved back he too fell in love with it the same way I did.
