Description

Specialties

«The Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity ReStore on South 1st Street in the Fifth Ward neighborhood of Milwaukee is your local donation center and home improvement resale store. Proceeds support our mission to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

We accept donations of used furniture, appliances, cabinetry, building supplies, home décor, antiques, cars, boats and more. Drop off your donation at our store, or contact us to arrange for a pick-up at your home.

All are welcome to shop our wide selection of gently used home furnishings including sofas, chairs, tables, cabinets and bookshelves. Plus we offer home improvement supplies and building materials such as doors, windows, lighting, flooring and more. Pricing on most items is a fraction of retail cost, and each purchase helps expand affordable home ownership in Milwaukee.»

History

Established in 2013.

The first ReStore opened in Milwaukee in 2006 in West Allis. We later relocated to our current flagship location at 3015 N 114th St, Wauwatosa. In January of 2013 we opened our second location, «ReStore East» at 420 S 1st St, Milwaukee.

Meet the Manager

Megan K.

Manager

I’m a long-time Habitat for Humanity supporter going back to my days of volunteering on build sites in college. I started working for ReStore in Green Bay, then in 2012 moved to Milwaukee and became Assistant Manager of our Walker’s Point location. I now Manage the store.

Feel free to contact me about anything ReStore related whether it be shopping, donating, or volunteering!
