I don’t have anything against the food at this location but I’ve been here multiple times and my service has been awful. The cashiers are all extremely rude and make it obvious they don’t want you to approach them. I’ve never been welcomed into the door like I have been at other locations. The manager also makes it seem like she has little time for anyone else. Most recently, I had awful service going through the drive though. The girl working talked to fast and was rude. We tried to ask her a question about a coupon and decided that was too much work for her and told us to pull around and come inside the store. The reason why I was using the drive through is because all my friend and I wanted was a soda and some McChickens, fast food that should have been fast from the drive through. We pulled out, parked, and come into the restaurant and it was pretty empty inside. We separately ordered our food, mine was done in 5 minutes. My friend’s on the other hand took them about 15 minutes. We approached the cashier and she had no clue that we had been waiting for food still. The 5 minute trip through the drive-thru turned into a 20 minute trip. My experience at this location most days, is average. It’s McDonald’s and it’s fast food but this particular experience was horrible and my friend and I have no intention on returning to this McDonald’s from here on out.

Holy shit! If there were a contest for how many orders could be screwed up in 20 minutes, and how many times one order could be screwed up, this place would definitely get a trophy. They screwed up my order THREE times, and gave all three of my correct(supposedly) orders to other people whose orders were messed up – that’s SIX wrong orders! I order a chicken sandwich with cheese. Receipt says exactly what I ordered – plain plus cheese. I get my food and notice I’m given a HAMBURGER in a chicken-labeled box. I take it back up front and politely explain that I have someone else’s food. «That’s a crispy chicken sandwich.» she says, despite the box being open with what’s clearly a burger on the bun. I re-explain that it’s a burger, not chicken. She repeats that it’s chicken, not beef. After telling me 5-or-so times that it was exactly what I ordered, she FINALLY looks at the contents of the box. «Oh, my bad, you’re right,» she says. So, they get to making me another sandwich. I’m waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting. All in all about 10 minutes. The manager comes out and asks if I’ve been helped, and I tell her everything is OK, I’m just waiting on my food. I’m handed another sandwich, and THIS time, it’s fish! What the hell! Attempt number three: chicken sandwich with everything on it and NO cheese. The manager goes around back to the cook and the cook starts throwing a damn fit. «This shit don’t come with no goddamned cheese on it dude! What does she want? Shredded cheese? American cheese? Swiss Cheese? Maaaaaaan this is is some bullshit.» And she says it all loud enough for me to hear. Bitch are you kidding me? My receipt states exactly what I ordered, so I hand it to her to hand to the cook. According to the cook, she DID make my sandwich the way I ordered it several other times – they gave those sandwiches to a bunch of other people, leaving all of their orders for me! Yeesh. Attempt number four: They finally got it right! Crazy.

Worst McDonald’s in the city of Milwaukee. You’re better off driving out of your way a little bit into the hood. They’re always out of something and you always have to pull up and wait for too many minutes. They will make you late for work. Once you get to work you’ll notice they got your order WAY wrong… EVERYSINGLETIME!!! Don’t waste your time, money, or calories. P. S. still waiting 15 minutes later for a damn holiday pie.

It’s a McDonald’s. They serve McDonald’s food. They get paid minimum wage to do so. Breakfast sandwiches rule. Don’t be rude to the people that serve you, and they won’t be rude back. You could even be polite, that would be cool. Dollar menu has hella deals. This is a McDonald’s.

Took my daughter there after a doctor appointment because it was on the way and she wanted their breakfest. We pulled in at 1019am. Took 2 mi sites for them to see if I had been helped. I was done placing my order and was told they were no longer seeving breakfast. I looked at my phone and it was 1023. I politely asked… in the middle of my order? Rude reply Yes. and I said even before 1030. Again received a rude response… yup that’s what I wad just told. It was horrible service and we pulled away. I looked up the number and tried calling. Let it ring for over 3 minutes and no response. I then just hung up and called corporate. Will never go there.

Unfortunately, this is close to my home! They run out of this and that(small cones, ice cream, chocolate, ketchup) more than any other McDonalds. It takes far longer at the drive-through than at others, e.g., the one across from Kopp’s on N. Port Washington or the one on E. North Ave. These employees should visit other McDonalds and they, too, will experience the clear contrast. A great improvement opportunity exists at this site.

I normally try to avoid fast food, because I generally do my best to be one of those somewhat«healthy» people… but every so often you get a craving. Especially after working 12+ hours and you drive by this Micky D’s after job #2 and you know Culver’s is closed and Wendy’s just isn’t going to satisfy… I don’t understand how it is even possible that their ice cream machine is down EVERYTIME I have ever stopped here. Seriously, every time??? When the Shamrock Shake is calling my name, I must have it. Asap. And since I only let myself indulge once, maybe twice, a year on this fantastic calorie-bomb and I’m informed the machine is down I am going to be frustrated. Really, really, really frustrated. I’ve only been inside to order once, and it was over 3 years ago. All I remember about that experience was thinking to myself«I won’t be coming inside again.» And I haven’t; it’s be strictly drive thru for the 6+ years I’ve been driving by this location. Despite never having ice cream treats, they actually have never messed up my order(although I have had to wait an extremely long time in the drive thru for a simple McChicken and fries). Service seems to be better when ordering breakfast items on the weekend. If you really need a McD’s fix and aren’t in a huge rush, I highly recommend driving to the location north on Port Washington or going south to the North Ave location…

This might be the worst McDonald’s in the city. Terribly slow, rude, uninterested employees occupying an old dirty building. AND, the parking lot sucks. I wouldn’t send my enemies here.

I went here because I was in the area doing something for work — I saw this McDonald’s and thought it was no big deal and that it would be like any other McDonald’s but it wasn’t. The staff who work there seemed more interested in standing around talking about their taxes, what they claimed and what they were going to use the money for. They were also busy talking about where was the best place to buy a car(which apparently according to the employees, the best place to buy a car is «out of town» — which I can only assume outside of Milwaukee but who knows). Another customer had wanted his meal on a tray to be eatten in the restaurant and they put in a to go bag — when he asked for a tray, it seemed like such a chore for the employees to get a tray for him. When he asked for napkins because there were none in the lobby area(I can only assume that the napkins were not filled on a regular basis), the one employee he asked kept on yelling loudly to no one in particular«Who is supposed to be filling the napkins in the lobby? Who is supposed do that?» When I had ordered my food and asked for it to dine in, they put it in a to go bad — which is fine I guess, I’m not going to complain about it. When I had initialy put my order in, I wanted BBQ sauce and specifically requested it. But when I looked in the bag, there was none so I politely asked for it. One of the employees gave me one but she never bothered looking at me and apologizing for the oversight — she handed me the sauce looking in the opposite direction of where I was standing and said absolutely nothing. Really? what happened to good customer service? I overhead that the employees were making someone in the drive through a salad but come to find out they wanted a fish filet SANDWICH. When it was brought to their attention, they seemed to be confused on what exactly what they supposed to make for the customer. I thought it was the norm to repeat back what the customer ordered to confirm that it is correct(that’s what I was taught to do when I had a stint in a Starbucks). I would hate to be that person in the drive through waiting for a long time just for a fish sandwich. And mind you this is all happening with like 4 customers in the store and what seemed like 7 – 9 employees. I’m definitely not going back to this McDonald’s — even if that means driving further to go to a Mcdonald’s, then so be it.

This McDonald’s is right up there with the one on Mayfair road. The service is better then I remember and now that it has been remodeled I thought the inside would be clean but it wasn’t.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. These ‘people’(and I mean that as it sounds) have no business working for the McDonalds Corporation. I love Mcdonalds. I love their fries, and I love their dollar menu. I go their when I’m in a hurry, when I’m on the go and need to get something. I have had several bad experiences with their drive thru service, the line is always long and slow moving. One day I decided I would go inside, because I wanted a large fries an a double cheeseburger plain and I did not feel like waiting behind 6 cars to get it. When I walked in there was no one in line. It seemed that everyone inside was already eating. Good, I thought, I’ll be in and out of here in no time. I walked up to the register to place my order. There were two people behind the counter, one was obviously in motion, but the other girl was not doing a damn thing. She was talking to her co worker about some guy who was hitting on her a couple days ago. I wasn’t going to be rude and cut her off so I stood there and stared straight at her. She noticed and looked at me multiple times(making eye contact) I was holding my 3 bucks and ready to go. She proceeded to ignore me and kept on talking. After around 3 minutes of standing there she turns an says«What you want?» I should have said a fucking manager please, but I was in a hurry at that point, regretting going inside at all. I ordered my food and it came out almost immediately. I glanced at the registers monitor, it read«average serving time 47 seconds». That was a load of B.S. The regional manager should be ashamed of whatever monkey they allowed to run this particular franchise. I’m not racist, even if I act like it sometimes. Everyone at the North ave McDonalds is black and that one is great. I go there ALLTHETIME. This one is run by ghetto Trash. Their ice cream machine has been broken for over a year, and they NEVER salt their fries(which are sometimes undercooked) DONOT Eat at this McDonalds. AVOIDATALLCOSTS, just go down to North Ave, or to the Wendy’s down the road– which is scrumptious btw.

I, too, feel I have to give my review on this particular McDonalds. I’m not much a McDonalds person, but this location definitely takes the cake in terms of poor service. Whether you go inside to order or use the drive-thru, it’s a fail bomb of epic proportions. I thought the initial problem was that I always stopped here late at night. One time I sat in the drive-thru for 20 minutes with about 3 other cars. I would have left, but the drive through is enclosed, so I was trapped until the two cars ahead of me got fed up and left, too. The problem with the service is not just the staff, it’s the customers. The last time I was there, I went inside to order, because the drive-thru always takes so long. The inside, however, is even worse because you see exactly why things take so long. Every other person who received their food would complain about the order being wrong and then demand something for free. When you have a steady stream of whiny customers who expect things for free, it slows down the service and creates apathetic workers. Try not to visit this location if you can help it.

I’m addicted to McDonald’s, but I have to agree with previous reviewers: this one is not up to the general standards. If you report something wrong(no ice, for example), they nod but make no move to fix it. It is handy to a bunch of discount stores along Capital Drive, but location is about the only thing it has going for it. In response to an earlier review, I might add that the Wendy’s down the street isn’t much of a step up in service.

This is one of the worst McDonald’s I have been to in my entire life. I wish the franchise owner would fire the entire staff and rehire people, not wild animals. The most incompetence I have ever experienced at any business, ever! I am sure if faced with these allegations and complaints, the employees would just laugh and shrug, because people like this think being loud, ignorant, rude, and unprofessional are the secrets to business. Since they still have their jobs, they know no better. There you have the problem with America; any idiot can get a job and to keep it, they must merely be able to breathe, even if it is through their mouth. I wish nothing but the worst things in life for all of the employees and the franchise owner as well, for letting this go on for as long as it has.

This McDonald’s has always been filthy inside, and the food was mediocre. This is our favorite McDonald’s to «get our money’s worth» out of because invariably if we order pies, they are past the expiry date and we are entited to fresh ones. The service is of average quality, but just the ick-sticky-floor factor and the below-par food is enough for us to say«No thanks», even when we’re starving. We’ll hit the Wendy’s down the street instead.
