InStep’s owners have 90+ combined years of experience in physical therapy, athletic training, coaching, and helping people function at their highest levels. We’re experts at shoe fitting, and carry Asics, Brooks, Mizuno, Saucony, New Balance, Vibram, Vasque, & others.

Our physical therapists are some of the best in the area, providing full-​service, individualized treatment for: orthopedic problems; back, neck & spine pain; sports & work injuries; post-​surgical rehabilitation; overuse injuries; chronic pain dysfunction; all types of foot and lower extremity problems; and much more.

History

Established in 2003.

InStep was founded by Tom Labisch and Bob Corby, both physical therapists, and John Ochsenwald, an athletic trainer. The three envisioned a place where athletes and non-​athletes alike could come for injury treatment and rehabilitation, as well as a place where runners and walkers could be properly outfitted with the correct running and walking shoes, fitness apparel, and equipment.

InStep quickly gained a reputation in the greater Milwaukee area as the «place to go» for truly effective injury rehabilitation and prevention, expert shoe fitting, and an extensive selection of top quality footwear
