H&R Block

I have prepared and filed my own taxes for the past 17 years. This year, I just didn’t want to deal with the hassle, so I turned to H&R Block. This was a convenient location on the east side with a very friendly and welcoming staff, with competent & knowledgeable tax preparation professionals. That said, despite the good service provided, this was WAY more expensive than I expected and definitely hindered the likeliness of my return next year, even with the increasing complexity of tax code and law.
Regardless, the staff members were great and I feel as though my questions and concerns were answered and addressed. I just wouldn’t return as even with their «specials,» it’s less expensive to complete my taxes on my own.
