Boston Lofts

As I am apartment searching for our new place in CA, I keep thinking about how I wish I could find a place exactly like the Boston Lofts in our new location. This was absolutely the best apartment we have ever lived in. The management was very nice and attentive, I loved the rooftop deck with patio furniture and grills, and I miss the time my husband and I spent by the fireplace in the clubhouse with the complimentary coffee and tea. They also have a gym, which is small, but wasn’t heavily used so I rarely had to wait for a machine I wanted. They had fun resident parties, as well.
The location is amazing in downtown Milwaukee. You only have to walk half a block to get into the skywalk system. If you want to take transit, almost all of the bus lines stop along Wisconsin Ave. within a block or two. I worked in Mequon and took the Ozaukee County express to work. My husband was a graduate student at UWM and took the express bus to school. Also, the underground parking was an incredible asset to us, because we started our family here and could go from underground parking to underground parking in the winter without having to bundle our baby.
Our apartment had an amazing view of downtown and the lake! The high ceilings made the space feel very spacious and open. We never heard our neighbors, but we were on the 9^th (top) floor. You may want to pay attention to where your unit is, because some people complained about construction noise from the parking garage across 4^th st. However, it is probably over by now because that was over a year ago. The appliances were basic, but we mostly ate out anyway. I think you can get units with upgraded appliances if you want it.

I moved into Boston Lofts when I first moved to downtown Milwaukee. Let me tell you– I did not leave the two years I lived there. The apartment manager, Terri, is amazing. She is friendly, attentive and courteous. Any issue, whether it be maintenance or other it is addressed right away. The apartments themselves are unique and beautiful. The gym and club room were remodeled and nice plus there are convenient storage rooms. Plus, who doesn’t love underground heated parking?
Boston Lofts is also very convenient to walk to bars and to festivals downtown such as Jazz in the Park.
I am writing this review because I am moving out of state and even though I am moving I am still receiving TOP level service. They are letting moving companies into my apartment to show it so they can get estimates for me while I’m out of town. That is hard service to find when you’re moving out.
This may sound fake, but it is not. It truly was that amazing of a place and if I ever move back to Milwaukee I would not hesitate to live there again. I will miss it!
