Applebee’s

Just went there for dinner. Wings were ice cold. Appetizers came out before we even had our drinks. (Makes sense since it was cold) The server had an attitude, nothing pleasant about this experience. Sorry we bothered you and made you have to work. The people here need to lighten up and smile… now I remember why I don’t go to the restaurant in Brown Deer. Applebee’s should be embarrassed by this restaurant.

Food is okay if you can put up with the terrible service. I’ve been here at this location 5 or 6 times in as many years, and the service is disappointing. When I left the restaurant at 6:45pm on a Friday night, there were 5 – 6
groups in the lobby waiting to be seated, but nobody helping them (and plenty of cleaned bussed tables open in dinning area). I got into a conversation with one of the customers waiting to be seated, had same complaint as me. Terrible service.

How do you serve your evening customers morning coffee? No apologies from management he didn’t bother coming to the table. The server could only work with what she had. Not coming back to spend my money.

Worst service ever! Turtles could move faster than them. Arrived for the fish fry and a salad. The fish was hard, my chicken salad was burnt, no silverware and some of the workers werent in uniform. Waitress kept forgetting what we ordered didn’t know what half off appetizer was, had to call the manager. The manager was in the process of dealing with a complaint to busy to come to my table. Just HORRIBLE will never come here again. This place should be cleaned and shut down!

The WORST service ever! This time last year I discovered a foot long (not exaggerating here) strand of blonde hair wrapped around my entrée. The manager wanted to resolve it by having me pay for HALF my meal because I’d eaten a few bites before I discovered the hair.
Tonight I decide to give them a chance by ordering a take out party platter. The person who answered the phone had no idea what they offered and put me on hold for TEN minutes while she got the list. She then returned to the phone and hung up on me. I called back, it took another FIVE minutes for the unbothered manager to come to the phone with NO apology. This place SUX!!!

My coworkers and I were on a rushed one hour max lunch. We arrived right when they opened. There wasn’t a soul in that restaurant. We were the only ones. So you would expect we could get in and out quickly. Funny, there were 5 of us. The server took our drink order quickly. We told her about the need to expedite our food because of our meeting we had to go to. She said «no problem». So strangely we all ordered the same thing. OK, really? 5 burgers? We waited about 5 minutes to get our drinks {not too bad) but then we waited another 5 minutes to order. Then we waited about 30 minutes before one of my coworkers went to the server and asked her if we could just get the food to go because we were in a rush. 40 minutes to get a drink and a burger? And we didn’t get our food in that 40 minute time frame. They did get our to go bags out to us quickly and to go cups. Do you leave a tip? I felt guilty not leaving one, so I left one anyway. I don’t whose fault it was so I didn’t make the server suffer for what the kitchen may have done. Who knows what happened but it was not a good experience.
When we got back to our office we had to eat during the meeting, which thank goodness it was a webinar and no one could see us chomping down on our marginal burgers.
I won’t be returning to this Applebee’s or any others.

I frequently go to this location so imagine how disappointed I was when I got a touch of food poisoning! While the spinach dip was great going down I woke up out my sleep 3 hrs later with diarrhea, stomach cramps and perfuse sweating. OMG!!! As a nurse I knew right away it was from the dip. Needless to say I survived but Im looking at the restaurant from a different perspective.

Very disappointed in this Applebee’s! I travel everywhere and frequent the Applebee’s franchise regularly and this one has to be the worst I’ve been to. The wait staff are unprofessional and loud. The manager has lost control of his employees. At one point I had to listen to him argue with one of his employees right at the bar where I was sitting. Not a pleasant experience at all. This is one restaurant I will never return to.

service is in dire need of help. Waited about 5 minutes for someone to seat us, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Food was ok, but tasted as if it were previously frozen. French Onion soup was more like hard cheese soup. Such a disappointment.

The staff is nice our favorite waitress is Maxine, my family don’t want to really stay unless she is there. The weight watcher meals are excellent!

I’ve been to many Applebee’s locations, but I can say after I’ve been to this one a couple of times, it’s in my «top 5» Applebee’s to date.
Every time, the staff has been friendly and attentive, but not overbearing like many restaurants can be. There is something on the menu for everybody of every appetite.
The only complaint I have of this place is the lighting (in the daytime). They have the blinds allowing natural sunlight in and dim indoor lighting. But when you’re seated in a windowless part of the restaurant during the day, the dim lighting makes the place feel a little dreary.

I came to Applebee’s, wanting a good cup of margarita slush and yummy spinach and artichoke dip. Both weren’t up to standard. I’ve had better versions at other Applebee’s. The dip seemed to be lacking something, tasted a bit flat. The drink was more of an icee than a slush.

I consider this my local dive bar. The drinks are average but, it’s close. I like a couple of their menu items. The place it a tad outdated. The service is hit or miss. Applebee’s you are just my dive bar, nothing more nothing less. I have no low expectations.

Food is great. I’m NEVER disappointed when I go. Try the chicken wonton tacos. They have ½ off appetizers every night after 10. WAIT STAFF IS HORRIBLE. DNT TIP

Our table was kind of sticky, which was immediately off-​putting. And service was a little strange, not necessarily bad, just a little too blunt. Food was actually better than we were expecting. I had a gift card burning a hole in my wallet for almost a year and finally got around to using it, so hey, overall it was a good meal.

I can’t go to an Applebee’s or its competitors without thinking of the movie «Waiting.» I can only imagine what the servers are thinking about when we enter the restaurant for an early lunch.
Applebee’s is your typical casual restaurant with the standard bar fare. Over the years, the menu has changed, but some still stay the same. When I visited today, my favorite veggie patch pizza is still on the menu. I enjoyed it, but it was peppered a little heavy and a tad bit greasy for me. My bf had the mini chicken sandwiches and a ceasar salad while my mom had the oriental chicken salad. All in all, the food was decent and average. Our waiter was especially nice and prompt. Overall, Applebee’s is good and a great place to meet up with people.
