Advance Electrical Contractors

I had a rep from Advance Electrical Contractors come out to give me a quote on a job, and was told that there is a flat rate of $ 100 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours, plus any needed supplies that get installed. I had a few things I needed done, including fixing some crossed wires and having a GFCI outlet installed. They did not install the GFCI outlet so I had to call and have them return. At this point, I inquired about a $ 42 dollar truck charge that had been on my bill but not my quote. I was told by the owner that this was a suggested fee from his secretary to help pay off the truck they had purchased for the business and the gas they use to travel to homes. There was no explanation for as to why this wasn’t on my quote, and it’s worth mentioning that my jobs were very small and did not require any type of special service truck anyhow. He indicated that he was sorry that I didn’t like it, but that they would be returning for free in a couple days without the truck charge to install the GFCI (the job I originally had asked for and already paid for…). However, the work they did was fine, done quickly and the employees were friendly. I would suggest getting a quote in writing and having the workers go through the completed jobs with you, as they just left without reviewing the work and afterward I found the mistake.

These are my go to guys for any and all electrical work for both my office and my home. They always do the job to code and correctly and are extremely customer focused. Their prices are also extremely reasonable. I recommend them to all my friends and family and also recommend them to anyone reading this.

I engaged Chris Richards and his crew at the 11^th hour yesterday, just before this morning’s closing on a piece of Whitefish Bay real estate.
I needed some repair work on a bathroom heater and if the work didn’t get done yesterday, the closing was not going to happen this morning.
Chris managed to get one of his crew out to my house within an hour of my call to diagnose the problem, and the problem was resolved early this morning, just in time for me to close on the home sale.
I would highly recommend Advance Electrical Contractors for anyone who appreciates excellent customer service.
