Adams art goes far beyond tattooing. Not only is he the best tattoo artist, he is an incredible artist and amazing person. His shop is an awesome, comfortable and unique place you just want to be at. Adam is patient, friendly, polite and his wealth of knowledge, his skills and artistic expertise across various platforms of artistic expression are absolutely mind blowing. Adam creates only masterpieces, gifts of a lifetime well worth far beyond any momentary value.

Adam is currently working on a thigh piece for me that has so much detail I have been blown away at how the progress is coming along. I’ve been going to Adam for 5 years now and he does the most amazing work. He books up pretty quickly though so planning ahead is key for getting in his chair. He recently got some new staff and it has made such a difference in the atmosphere at the shop. Stand up dudes that have solid portfolios. Adam, Josh or Sam, they also have an apprentice Jade that is coming along pretty well too, either way you won’t regret stopping in here for your next piece.

Laurent is fantastic! He has done two of my tattoos, an anchor and a sugar skull. They healed well and look great. I will certainly be returning to adambomb and Laurent!!!

I was very impressed with adambomb. Josh drew a beautiful piece for me, but unfortunately, it was much bigger than what I wanted. When I told him I was looking for something smaller, he immediately made me a new drawing, without taking offense or grumbling. I’m so accustomed to rudeness that his easy-​going demeanor and insistence on giving me what I wanted came as a shock. I love my tattoo and will definitely be recommending adambomb in the future.

Laurent is the sh*t. He understood my vision, adapted on the fly and didn’t settle for anything less than perfection. The tattoo I wanted was very detailed and could have easily been blown-​out or half-​assed; however, what I got is truly a work of art.
If you’re unsure how a drawing or sketch will translate into a tattoo or want a tattoo but have heard from a friend who had a bad experience — go talk to Laurent. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve had a couple small tats done in the past, but when I finally figured out the first big piece I wanted done, I searched tirelessly for the perfect artist who I could feel confident in. I made the right choice with Laurent! He is creative, skilled, and attentive. He asks good questions and provides good feedback, and genuinely cares about the work he’s doing and your satisfaction with it. To top it all off, he is so much fun to sit and talk with for 3 hours straight!
Needless to say, Laurent is my tattoo artist for life! I’m very much looking forward to getting more done with him.

Laurent is a master. He gladly took on a large back piece project for me, after I had been turned down by multiple other artists because it was a «nightmare» cover-​up. He’s a pro at creating a comfortable environment, was incredibly attentive to my design ideas, and is French, which is fun. I also felt like his hourly rate was pretty modest. As for the shop, its a nice chill space, refreshingly quiet, and not anything close to the standard tattoo-​shop scenesterism.

Laurent has done 3 tattoos for me and all have turned out better than I had imagined they would. For example, when I went in for a consultation about having 3 birds, he looked at my photos, did research, and in 3 days came up with sketches and placement that fit together perfectly. He added a tree branch to bring everything together that is almost more beautiful than the birds themselves. His work is done so skillfully that it heals quickly and rarely even scabs over, it just peels a little bit. He is always professional and his prices are fair.
Adambomb is definitely the best tattoo shop in Milwaukee. I have dozens of friends that have been inked by Adam or Laurent and they both do superior work.

Laurent is an amazing artist. The detail and shading in my arm piece is so fine and exquisite and the colors are vivid and beautiful. He didn’t use any black lines, almost all of the definition is through shading and color, which is remarkable. It healed perfectly and didn’t have to be re-​touched at all. Even the yellow areas are still incredibly bright. I work at a job where I interact with a lot of people and everyone compliments my tattoo and says how amazing the quality of art is and asks where I got it done. People have said that it is one of the most beautiful tattoos they have ever seen and that it is a true piece of artwork.
Also, Laurent is an awesome guy, he’s funny and nice and we had entertaining conversations during the process. Adam is cool too. He’s been there a few times when I’ve gotten work done. I enjoyed my entire experience there from start to finish. I definitely want to get more work done by Laurent and I highly recommend going to this shop if you’re thinking about getting some serious work done. You have to wait a while for an appointment but it is worth it. If you’re looking for something custom and original, of awe-​inspiring quality, Laurent is the guy!

Quality work from a quality artist. I went here for my first 3 tattoos. He really took the time to draw something that I wanted. He was very good about giving his opinions to make it look better but was respectful of your choice when you disagreed.
I refer everyone to go there if they want to work with a guy who really cares about your work. My dad has since had his arms covered by Adam and they look great also.
One thing that you have to know is that you can’t just walk in and get work done by him. He has a long wait list. To me, that is a good thing being that he works 5 days a week and can stay booked like that.
The other artist that is in there does some great work to. Everyone always wants work done by the operator of the shop. But, I’ve seen some of Laurent’s work when I stopped in and it was very good quality and creative.

A really great experience with a friendly staff. Laurent did a really awesome job on my tattoo, I’m so happy with it and I will not go anywhere else. If your in need of some ink head to Adambomb and see Laurent. You will not be disappointed.

Adambomb is fantastic. Truly. There are three shops in Milwaukee that I recommend to people looking to get tattooed, and Adambomb is one of them.
This is a great space with a great vibe. The artists are consummate professionals. (They’re friendly, too! Adam’s pretty awesome.) And did I mention that they do fabulous work? (They do.)
Milwaukee is lucky enough to have what seems to be a wealth of amazing tattoo artists that work in amazing shops. Adambomb most certainly rounds out that wealth.

Very experienced, detail oriented, amazing artist, overall cool dude. Adam and Laurent rock plain and simple. They can duplicate art or come up with custom drawings for you. One heads up: they book up about a month in advance so plan ahead. It’s worth the wait.

When I was 18 and getting my first tattoo, it wasn’t legal in Chicago to get inked unless your parents signed off on it (law since amended). I’d gone with a good friend to get her first tattoo by Adam, and it was such a peaceful experience and such a beautiful job, I didn’t even consider another place.
Adam is awesome. He is one of the nicest, chillest guys you’ll ever meet (and cute, to boot), and his studio is a place of warmth and happiness. My friends and I were the only folks in there, save the occasional dude popping in to say hello. Radiohead was playing softly, and Adam whistles while he works (literally).
The design was simple, done by myself — a calligraphic outline of a dove holding an olive branch — but it’s not tiny, and it was only $ 70, which is outrageously affordable for such superior work. I am one of the only people I know who doesn’t look back with shame and regret on their «18 year-​old tattoo», save for, shockingly, the friends I have who also got inked their first time at Adambomb.
It’s been five years, and there’s no blow-​outs, fading, distortion, or anything. It’s just as beautiful as the day I got it! If it wasn’t such a haul, I’d certainly be back. And quite frankly, if the tat places in Chicago keep going the way they’re going, I might just. With relish.

Adam did my Milwaukee tattoo in May of 2004. Over 3 years later it remains dark and precise. He was the consummate professional while working on me and took great care to make sure I was comfortable. I now live in San Francisco and despite the 2500+ mile divide, I will come back to Adambomb when I decide to get more work done.
