History

Established in 2006.

The Academy of Classical Ballet is proud to serve Southeastern Wisconsin since 2006. We provide families with enriching arts experiences and the highest quality dance education at affordable prices.

We are the only dance school in Wisconsin to seek out and adhere to current medical advice on the training of dancers and to actively pursue injury prevention. In addition to our approach to dance training, the Academy also provides academic enrichment by incorporating academic content into dance classes, as well as teaching students conversational French.

Meet the Manager

Manager

The lead instructor for the Academy of Classical Ballet is Miss Hillary.

Miss Hillary has been dancing since the age of four, and as such, knows a thing or two about injuries related to too early dance training– as well as ballet training that’s based on tradition as opposed to solid medical evidence.

While performing is a part of every professional dancer’s career, Miss Hillary discovered that she had an even greater passion for teaching dance. She then enrolled to become trained solely in teaching. Miss Hillary has a degree in Education as well as extensive background in Psychology and anatomy.

Miss Hillary has danced in New York, Nevada, North Carolina, as well as here in Wisconsin, but greatly prefers the joy of seeing tiny smiling faces and tiny dancing feet to stage lights and standing ovations.
