I really like my doctor at South Shore Internal medicine. However, every single time I call, I am on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes and it can be up to 45. This is simply to talk to a receptionist. I dread making appointments and avoid doing so because I don’t always have so much time to wait on hold. It’s frustrating at best and a a pretty bad business practice.

Excellent service, hardly any waiting time and very helpful. If you call with a problem, they try to fit you in the same day with the doctor or a PA. Have been going there for years and would not dream of going anyplace else.

The administrative staff and physicians at South Shore Internal Medicine are simply a class-act. The receptionists that talk to you to make an appointment are very respectful and will do everything they can to get you an appointment as soon as possible. They explain to you what your insurance covers, or what it doesn’t(and as someone new to Massachusetts, it goes a long way!) You don’t have to wait long for your appointment and since the practice is connected to Milton Hospital, if you need to get lab work or x-rays done, it’s only a short walk away. Unless you’re one hundred years old, you won’t be the youngest one in the waiting room(so don’t be offended if the staff shouts your name). Parking is relatively easy since it is connected to the hospital.
