Optimist Park

Very nice park! Went one time and no poop bags, so bring your own just in case. A side for big dogs and a side for small dogs. There’s also a nice water area for the dogs. One of the nicer dog parks I have been to.

After the devastating flooding in our area ruined the Bayview dog beach, I looked online to find another park I could let my pup run free in. I was surprised to find out that this park is only about 7 minutes away from my home and I never knew it existed! This park was great! Mason made several new big doggie friends and got to run and play again just like at Bayview but without all the dusty, torn up grass at the «normal» Bayview park. This park is HUGE with gorgeous, perfectly manicured grass. It has several benches in both shade and sun and of course, a water bowl for the pups. It has three large tubes that the dogs can run through and a ramp to run up just like you would see in a dog show. The owners were respectful in cleaning up after their dogs and friendly with people and pooches, alike. All in all I loved this park! Mason and I will definitely be back.
