After reading all the great reviews and having family members recommend this business to my boyfriend, it’s disappointing for him to show up on Saturday and have the door locked 45 minutes before closing time. They supposedly close at 1, as the business hours on the door says, but had their doors locked at 12:15.
He finally had an employee answer the door for him, and they said they were closing early (doors were locked at 12:15) because they «had things to do.» Very disappointed and probably won’t try this place out again.

Denise was OUTSTANDING! I couldn’t ask more from a barber. She took some time to discuss what I wanted, and during the cut she gave me some styling tips and was just pleasant to be around in general! Affordable, yet not rushed, and in a great location! Wish I could give her 6 stars!

This is a good barber shop in Milton Centre. It’s a little far from where I live and so always needed to drive. Parking, which is starting to become tight, is available on Adams and side streets. There is always a wait as it is busy. This is especially so on weekends, which is when I am usually free.
I have had good haircuts here. I’ve primarily had Denise, and she is good. I’ve also had Kevin (I think – he’s the only guy). It’s cash only but there is a Bank of America ATM next door.
Milton Barber Shop is definitely worth a try and I would definitely come back. For me the convenience factor (getting there and parking) is most important all things being equal.

I’ve been to a lot of barbershops in the Boston area, and this one is by far my favorite! I always go to Donna, but all of the barbers here seem to do a great job. The staff is super friendly, the shop is clean, and the prices are very reasonable. $ 18 for a great haircut! Once I find a place I like, I stick to it and I have no reason to go anywhere else!

I Recently moved back to the Boston area and returned to Milton Barber after ~6 year hiatus and was thrilled to find that not much had changed. Everyone is very friendly and down to earth. Kevin gave me an awesome haircut. $ 16 bucks for the kind of service and cut at Milton Barber is a steal.

A great haircut for a great price!
This place was highly recommended by friends and today I drove almost two hours to get there and it was worth every minute in traffic!
The place is tinny, but nice and cozy, and I was promptly saluted by Donna when I walked in for my appointment, who also listened to all my requests and even took her time to look at some pictures I brought to show what kind of hair I wanted. She was right on and within minutes I had the haircut I wanted!
Hot lather and razor shave on the back of the neck, like I’ve been looking for years!
I will definitely be back and recommend it to all my friends!

My whole life I searched for a barber who could master my thick hair, and these guys did it better than anybody.
Kevin, in particular, gave the best cuts I’ve ever had, and I had many, many people say the same. Unfortunately, I recently moved out of the area, and wish I could’ve moved this place with me. I will never find a barber as personable as Kevin, no doubt about it.

Great haircut for a great price! Very small barbershop and you can easily miss it from the street while driving but it is worth the extra effort to find. Hot lather and straight razor shave on the back of the neck.

Today was my first visit to East Milton Barber Shop, I must admit I was unsure at first. Kevin cut my hair, his skills, technique, as well as his professionalism, is impressive to say the least. All the barbers clearly take great pride in their shop, clients and are professional. I will be a regular from now on.

I’ve been bouncing around places trying to find someone who can get my boys who have crazy cowlicks hair properly. After a couple of friends recommended Jen at Milton Barber Shop I thought I’d give it a try. She is wonderful with them and really takes her time.
I had a really bad hair cut experience with my one son and was panicking when I was driving around only to find all these barbershops closed. I called milton barbershop and I believe it was Joanne who answered. She told me they closed in 5 min but she would wait for me. I was so thankful to her because she was able to fix my sons awful haircut. They’re always accommodating and friendly.

I brought my 18 month old son for a haircut here after both of us being traumatized by «Snip It’s» a few times. Denise cut his hair and, while he was NOT happy to be getting a haircut, she was so patient. His cut looks GREAT despite the struggle he gave.

My husband and I went to Milton Barbershop again today. It is truly fabulous. Kevin did our hair today. Like Big Gay Al and Jennifer, he is great. It was especially sweet to see how Kevin, a well muscled bodybuilder, was so kind and good with the haircut of a little boy who was clearly afraid. Kevin made the little boy laugh and the boy clearly had a great time.
As usual, our haircuts were top-​notch and the staff were fabulous. I would sit on those hard seats anyday! Heck, it makes you think of ancient Sparta and the beautiful young men who lived there when you sit on those seats!

Wow. I have never had a good time getting a haircut before! Kevin did a great job as well cutting my hair. I’ve had some bad experiences before getting my hair cut (see past reviews of other places) but the Milton Barber Shop is a keeper. Al is absolutely hilarious. I will definitely be back again and again.
Some things to note about this place:
1. Make an appointment during the week if you need your cut then.
2. Saturday’s are on a first come, first serve basis. No appointments.
3. They tend to do men’s cuts only. Sorry ladies.
