Good service, reasonable ptrice, and excellent job on painting my nails. However, this store is a bit run down and messy. A reno of the store will definitely attract more customers.

I work a lot, so I thought I’d treat myself for a bit of pampering and relaxation. And this place had good reviews, so I thought I’d give it a try. And I wasn’t disappointed! They were playing relaxing music and Le was nice and easy to communicate with. She also did a great job with my gel mani. The nail on my index finger tore because my nails are so thin and brittle, and looked horrible, but she fixed it with shellac and now it’s like it never happened! The only reason why I am giving a ⁴⁄₅ instead of ⁵⁄₅ is because one of the dots on my left hand smeared :(But out is minor and they look cute. Will definitely be returning.

I was referred to this place by a co-​worker since I’m new in this area. OMG! This place was such a mess. The owner’s boys were running around, their TV’s volume was up high (kids shows), the strong smell of their food was unbearable for the tiny space. It was definitely not a place to relax while being pampered. In addition, the owner lady did a poor job on painting my nails because her son kept on disrupting and she rushed off. I was planned for full set of pedi&medicure but left after my manicure was done. definitely not recommended and never coming back.

I wound say this is the best place in Milpitas, Le is a very patient and nice lady, and I have to say her work is impeccable! I will definitely come back!

Honestly, I had a great first time experience here. Second time… not so much. I came in with my friend for a manicure and she wanted a pedicure. The owner of the shop (male) who did my nails did a decent job until a new customer came and he basically left me to tend to the new customer. Did not bother to come by once to see if it was dry and even refused to fix a chip in my nail when I was paying. As for the female owner who worked on my friend’s pedicure, she didn’t bother to help her put on her slippers when she was done or asked if she liked it.
Tip: get more workers because customers do not like it when you basically leave them before they’re finished to work on other customers!

They are AMAZING! I’ve been going to them for the last three years + and I’ve never had a bad experience. They do my nails exactly how I like it done, their prices are fair and they are SO accommodating. They were closed one Sunday and I REALLY needed my nails done so they came in JUST to do my nails. They’re amazing to say the least

They are amazing! My Mom comes all the way from Alameda to San Jose, just for them. I started coming to them a few months ago, after my mom telling me numerous times to try them out, I finally listened! I will never go anywhere else for my nails! They look so natural and last for a while!

My mom comes here a lot and is always raging about this place so I decided to tag along with her for a pedi. The service & prices were great! This place is run by a husband-​wife duo so service can be slow at times, but their work is excellent! Would definitely recommend to anyone :)

I tried this place for a shellac manicure and pedicure after finding it from Unilocal.It is a family owned and operated business –husband and wife working side by side, with their maybe 11 year old son assisting. The place is small and could be better organized and cleaner. The women was very sweet, she did a good job on my manicure, service was basic. My polish lasted over 3 weeks, it did not chip, cracked or peel –great quality which I appreciate. I would love to go back here, but would prefer if the pedicure bowls, manicure tables and tools were sanitized as I did not see that happen in between customers. Also, I am not certain that a child can sanitize and clean a pedicure chair properly –which is what I did see happen.

love them Mr. Hoan & Mrs. Le. are wonderful people so clean and very cool. always a great job my nail have never been this healthy. Always had tips until I meet this two & Mr. Hoan worked his magic brush and he put just Gel on my real nails BATTA BOOM I was hooked like I said you have to try it and Trust me AM super PICKY always have been and now I have pretty healthy nails and the Shellac polish rocks I only have to get my nails done once a moth or so last time I only went 1 month and 2 weeks before going and they still looked good. SO yeah THEY ROCK family owned business Hubby and wifey team THEY ARE THE BEST

Words cannot explain how excellent this place is for the exceptional job and meticulous work they do. Husband-​Wife team super friendly excellent English and just so pleasant to be around. I first came here 2 months ago and experienced the husband’s touch with hot gel and he is truly amazing! I live in LA and found a place where I live but they totally botched it and looked deformed bumpy not great. Today’s Nail Lounge saved me and did a beautiful job! I will be flying here every 6 weeks just to go here!

What am I going to do when I move away?!? This place is a diamond in the rough. Their work is spectacular. I have never done my toes here BUT their nail work is awesome.
They do this liquid gel technique that never lifts and it always lasts me up to a month. They have tons of colors to work with and Le makes the cutest designs. I usually tell her to surprise me and she never let’s me down.
I have only been to one other place that does liquid gel and they were over by Santana Row and they did a decent job but expensive. I need quality at a great price and Today’s Nail Image does it.
I recommend getting an appointment because the two times I didn’t I had to wait but for some reason every time I do there is nobody there. But just play it safe make an appointment :)

Last time I used Unilocal for a nail salon, I got a crappy $ 27 (not including tip) acrylic full set in Burlingame. A week later, I decided I wanted a fill from a different place. I was in Milpitas and Unilocaled salons and found this TERRIFIC place!!! I didn’t know the prices until after I asked the girl next to me what she was having done and told me its only $ 25 for a full set! Hoan was doing her nails. He was it was doing a different technique than I’ve seen. His wife saw my nails and said that they have to be taken off because they were lifting. (That was an understatement) She said that my nails were students’ work. (Apparently, someone who shouldn’t pass) When I told her where I got it from, how much and only a week old, she said they should move to Burlingame. Seriously though, their work is THAT good! I have been coming here for many years. I found this place after deciding that the place I had gone to before just lacked the personal touch and treated people like an assembly line. Once I came here, the customer service and overall personal touch of this place convinced me I had found a good permanent nail spot, and I have been coming here ever since.
This is a small, family owned, local business which in my opinion are often the best places to support. The couple here does have two small children who may sometimes be in the shop with them. This is the perfect example of a small, dedicated, kind, friendly, hard working family running a small business — small business is not the easiest or most profitable by any means. Their focus on quality is 100%. I have always had my nails done by the husband. I have always been given the time and focus on a perfect nail job. This shop uses great product as well. I get the full gel set and it is 100% real gel, not gel over acrylic like some places. I have never had a nail break or yellow with the gel. He even once said to me «if you are not happy, I have not done a good job».
I bring my daughter here as well as my sister when she comes to visit. The first time I brought my sister here she said she loved the service and quality as well. The way he does a full get set is seriously like an art. They take their time and do not rush you out the door or pressure you to add or buy products or services. They did recently paint and upgrade their equipment and the ambiance is very comfortable and relaxed.
I was surprised at some of the negative reviews but I guess to each his own experience. Keep up the great work, quality and customer service Huan and Le. I will continue to be a customer as well as refer my friends here

I love my monthly visits here. The owners are so nice and accommodating! Best of all, they love teachers. My friend and I come here every month to get spoiled and catch up with Le and Hoan! They do amazing work and I always leave feeling spoiled and beautiful.
Also, their prices are unbeatable! Where else can you get a shellac manicure for 20 dollars!
They are so good at their art and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! That reminds me, I must call for an appt stat! Love them!

I only glanced at the rating on Unilocal and bought the Shellac manicure & regular pedicure Group-​on. When I returned to read the views, I was shocked to see the inconsistency of the reviews, and this worried me a little. Nonetheless, I called to schedule an appointment on a Tuesday, when I knew they weren’t going to be busy. Overall I had a good experience, and I got all the services I purchased for on Groupon!
The wife did my pedicure, and I loved the new sandy pink OPI color she suggested for me. The husband did my nails, and it was my first time getting shellac. I am such a fan! I don’t have to be super careful with my nails; it’s like getting gel, without the thickness. In addition, he was very attentive. I paid $ 43 ($ 29 groupon + design on 4 nails + tip), which is a great deal for a mani-​pedi. Granted, it was with the group-​on, but I will probably be coming back, since they did such a great job!

Let me start by saying that Huan and Le run an honest business and both do excellent work. I have been going to this salon for over 6 years (I have tried several salons in the area too). I was in the salon for a fill when KellyP was there on 7÷4÷13, she obviously didn’t understand what the Groupon covered, because when she sat down, she asked for tips, gel and a custom nail painting job on all 10 nails, plus she also had a full pedicure! After she left, she had her boyfriend come back to the salon to complain that she was overcharged. They were both unreasonable, even asking for their money back! REALLY PEOPLE? Who does that???
For all of you who may be looking for a great manicure, fill, tips, etc. please do not allow KellyP’s «poison pen» to cause you to miss out. Remember, just communicate clearly with Huan and Le, they speak english perfectly and you will get what you want and more. Unilocal is not the place for false accusations based on unbridled anger, is it? Do the world a favor Kelly P and give an honest appraisal of the lovely job that you got at Today’s Nails Image for a FAIR price.

Well, there is certainly a mix of reviews on here about this place. We women are serious about our nails.
I purchased a Groupon. And, I had a great experience.
Yeah, this shop isn’t glamorous. But, they do an excellent job. I have been getting shellac consistently for years, all over the US. This is one of the best places I have ever been.
I will be a customer after my Groupon is done. And, I also sent my out of town co-​workers here, and they all had an excellent experience.
I don’t like to do shellac on my toes, but I have been to many salons that offer it. I just don’t see a reason for it. Doesn’t mean its a bad thing. But to the people in the other reviews who complained that shellac on the toes is crazy, all I can tell you is that you need to get out more. Or at least read some fashion magazines.
My shellac also came off easily. At home. If you go to another salon and they suck at shellac removal (don’t soak your fingers enough, don’t prep the nails with a file, etc.) it will take longer. This has happened to me often, which is why I choose to remove it at home now. Tin foil, cotton, and acetone are all you need to buy. Wrap up your nails, watch some Real Housewives, then scrape away. Makes it easier to hit the salon afterwards!
