Had my wisdom teeth removed was fast and easy, recommend for anybody in need of a good oral surgeon.

Summary for the impatient:
Two upper wisdom teeth extracted. Doctor is thorough but brisk, and my outcome was excellent. He won’t mollycoddle you because he is not your mommy. Deal with it. But the extractions were quick, painless and complication free. Five stars to the doctor.
Detail:
Was referred to Mr Nguyen by another dentist for wisdom teeth that were going bad. Doctor took another set of Xrays and suggested local anesthesia, I did not question him. No payment on first visit. You pay on the day of the surgery and the follow up after a week or so is free.
On the day of the surgery, the doc rushed into the room. Yes, there were no elaborate discussions and he seems brisk but his talking about the surgery would not reduce the discomfort, would it? He got on the job and got both the teeth out in 15 minutes, including the second that was painful and needed more impromptu anesthesia. A nurse handed a gauze as each tooth came out. No tooth broke into pieces. A nurse gave me gauze and ice pack for home use. I drove back myself. How cool is that. In hindsight, I am glad he finished it quickly and got me to the most crucial time of the tooth extraction — the post operative week.
Next few days were slightly unpleasant because I stopped the pain-​killer after 12 hours, and I had to carefully rinse my mouth to remove debris. Then, there was the possibility of dry sockets. This part of the process is not fun because you are alone, although one call up the office, but I was doing okay. Liquid diet, debris, pressure on the gum, mild dizziness. No spitting, vigorous gargling or touching the spots with the fingers or tongue…
But I healed up well.
After five days, I visited the Doctor again, and he said everything healed perfectly, and I told him I felt great. I am now a happy camper.

DR. NGUYEN TURNED MY «OW» INTO A W-​O-​W.
Backstory:
Infected wisdom teeth. No other dentist would even allow a walk-​in. I called this location after great reviews and even though my insurance was not accepted… because they were so sweet to accept me; I went in for my consultation.
Prognosis:
Yep. Real bad condition. My face was numb. They scheduled me for emergency extraction the very next day.
Surgery:
I opted for general anesthesia. Put me to sleep. BAM! I wake up.
Post-​Surgery:
Paid cash. 1950 for all 4. Craters in your mouth I tell you. But anything other than the pain! I swelled up abnormally… one side swollen, left side perfectly undamaged. Turns out I had a shard of my tooth left. My body rejected it and I pulled it out with sanitized tweezers.
Lesson:
Don’t tell the medical assistant your friend is actually an Über driver. They are wonderful to not release you heavily sedated into the hands of a stranger. Kudos team!
Overall, if you’re in a tight pinch and making appointments are like pulling teeth… give them a call & I hope yor experience goes as well as mine did.

Had all four wisdom teeth pulled out on two separate days. Only took less than what felt like 30 mins. Friendly visits on all four days i’ve went there.(Days i’ve had the teeth pulled/​checkups).

I had to have all four wisdom teeth removed and was referred to Dr. Nguyen. I was scheduled for a consultation on Monday and scheduled for oral surgery on Tuesday. During my consultation, Dr. Nguyen answered questions I had and made me feel at ease. I have anxiety and my general dentist recommend I be sedated by IV. I went in and the people in the office were very nice and comforting. I went into the room for surgery and was very nervous. I was prepped and everyone did what they could to make me feel better, which I did. I am scared of needles but I barely felt it. I was asked how I was doing. I replied fine, and that’s all I remember. I then woke up and the procedure was completed. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen.

I got my 2 top wisdom teeth pulled out in a record of 5 mins. It was fast, successful, and everything was just ready and it took less than 30 mins. My goodie bag and prescription was all good to go. Definitely I would recommend him

Well, this review is very late since I had my wisdom teeth extraction in early January. But the time has come for a review. I needed to extract 4 tooth and was in and out in less than 20 mins. No pain at all.
There was no consultation fee charged either which I was happy about.
The receptionists were helpful and understanding.
Originally, I was referred to another surgeon but opt for this office instead.
Overall it was a wonderful experience.

I went to this oral surgeon because a few years earlier, my sister got her wisdom teeth removed from him. The consultation went fine, he found a cyst during my xray so in addition to getting my wisdom teeth removed, he was going to remove the cyst as well. They gave me a quote for the surgery and the day of the surgery went fine. My biggest irritation is in regards to my cyst removal. First of all, it’s kinda true what everyone else says about him going through patients quickly. I brought up the cyst removal to ask him questions about it and it seemed like he didn’t even remember or looked at my chart before coming in to talk to me. Also, a few months afterwards, I got a bill from a third party testing center charging me $ 80 something dollars for services provided to the oral surgeon. The part that makes me mad is that I was never informed of any testing they were gonna do nor was I given any results from that testing. The first I heard of it was from getting the bill. I called them and they were like oh it was from the biopsy that we sent out to test. Then I asked them why was I not informed and why did I not get any results. The receptionist said oh but you had the follow up already and you’re scheduled for another follow up in a few weeks… Yea the first follow up the surgeon only went over the wisdom teeth extraction and the second follow up was for 6 months after to make sure my cyst didn’t grow back. I wouldn’t have been mad if they had just told me from the beginning that they needed to do testing… or at least inform me at the first follow up about the biopsy and gave me the results

To say this place is very efficient is an understatement. I had originally accompanied my girlfriend to have her wisdom tooth extracted and she was in and out done in 15 min. So since we had time to spare I figured I may as well have Dr Nguyen inspect my wisdom tooth that was bothering me. Within the next 20 minutes I was given an x-​ray, sedatives, then pop I had mine extracted as well. My gums healed up nicely in about a weeks time.

Professional, affordable, highly recommended.
Called in for a consultation, x-​ray was a $ 50 fee.
Two words: local anesthesia. I originally wanted to be sedated with IV since I’m really sensitive when it comes to my teeth but it would’ve cost $ 400+ for IV. As a broke college student, that’s just something I can’t afford.
Came in on the appointment date anxiety ridden. The Latina assistant was really comforting! The operation took under 15 minutes for four teeth. Less time than the time it took to get my mouth numbed. Amazing!
No pain, just tons amount of pressure. Dr. Nguyen was reassuring, asked if I was okay during the entire op.
The worst part is post op. No pain, but you’ll definitely bleed A LOT. Foods I enjoyed– frozen yogurt, protein shakes, apple sauce and mashed potatoes. You want to steer clear from hot foods a day or two.

So the day finally came where my wisdom tooth was bothering me to the point of insanity. There was no question in my mind this would be the place I come to given all the good they’ve done for my mom.
I called in and was able to make an appointment the very next day at the earliest time. The office itself is still the same as I remembered. Very spacious and nicely decorated with light melodies playing. The front desk was helpful and assisted me with everything I needed from paperwork to questions about the weather. Now the doctor, he does not mess around or waste time. The moment he stepped in it was straight down to business. He let me know what needed to be done and the repercussions if not done in time. And believe me, I was already at that stage so I wanted to get the procedure done right away. Thank goodness they had an opening that same day! So I went home, mentally prepared and comforted myself with food for the pain that was about to be bestowed onto me.
The whole procedure took about 2 minutes. Yes, you read that correctly. 2 minutes! Maybe even less. And the amazing part? I felt absolutely no pain. Of course I was aware of the pressure, but not once did I feel like a wrench was in my mouth yanking out a piece of me that could prove who I am if I were ever murdered and the culprit mutilated my face. (Sorry, too much Blacklist and CSI)
Thank you Dr. Nguyen for restoring my faith in dentists. You deserve all the recognition given to you and I will not hesitate to recommend anyone here.

I had 4 wisdom tooth extracted last year and I was under sedation. Absolutely, love his work. No pain at all after the surgery. There was no waiting time for the scheduled appointment and the office was extremely clean. Front office customer service was amazing. One of the lady (the Spanish speaking), was nice enough to call me back with all the breakdown of what my insurance would cover for the surgery. Five stars just for her service. Also, price was reasonable for wisdom tooth extractions. I’m so satisfy with my experience with Dr. Nguyen that I am coming back to get my 4 premolars taken out by him soon.

I went to Dr. Nguyen to get my wisdom teeth extracted. The first two he removed 3 months ago and and the last two recently. Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgable, efficient and knows his job well. The staff are all amazing as well. They answered all of my questions, and were so sweet because I was so scared (both times). Why not 4 stars? I felt like Dr. Nguyen could be more personable. I had just seen him for an extraction and It would have been nice if he greeted me with something other than «So what are you in for today?» I also felt that another office visit before my 2^nd extraction was just an excuse to milk my insurance. All in all my experience was good, the staff calmed my nerves and Dr. Nguyen got in and got the job done, quick and painless.

What I had done: removal of two upper wisdoms.
The doc explained the whole entire rationale, procedure, risks & everything. It was very necessary cuz I was the MOST freaked out about it! He definitely built my confidence by explaining everything to me. He knew I was a nurse so we discussed the trigeminal nerve & sinuses & all that jazz which was cool.
He gave me options too… Sedation vs. Local anesthetics. Aaaaah LOCAL, please!
I would def recommend this place to my family and friends. They’re professional & efficient & accommodating & they address all of your concerns.
The panel X-​rays took literally ONE minute.
10 minute wait for the local anesthetics to kick in.
10 minutes for the actual removal. Which was not bad at all.
Would go here again if I find more teeth I wanna have pulled hehe

With Dr. Prakash Advani, (Sunnyvale, CA) recommendation, We went to Dr. Clinics for two wisdom tooth removal. .
Dr.Came and remove tooth within 25 mints with Local Anesthesia (20 min preparation).
.From Day one NO PAIN since then and now after week it is normal and fine.

I have to say that the fear of the unknown can be horrifying. I was filled with anxiety prior to the actual day of, mostly due to hearing stories from others… I had an infected wisdom tooth that needed immediate attention plus my wisdom tooth on my upper left needed to be remove as well.
Dr. Timothy and his staff were extremely kind to me. After consulting with him, I went ahead and had both of them removed. The procedure took less than 10 minutes and it was almost painless. His staff were also helpful and knowledgeable which puts me at ease. This has to be one of the best dental experience I ever had. The office interior were organized and clean. They have the latest equipments, plus their office is spacious.

Okay, came for wisdom tooth removal. Had one consultation appointment on Monday due to gum inflammation, booked appt. for Friday. Came in a little early for appointment at 3, quick easy almost painless, and out in 15 minutes what else could you ask for in such a procedure? Idk what Katherine reviewer could have wanted, her hand to be held afterword and the doctor to whisper sweet nothings in her ear? Lol, the office is nicely designed and dr. Nguyen takes care of business quickly. Nice

I HATE THE DENTIST!!! I’ve bitten one, almost punched one. Which is hilarious because I am not a small guy so you can imagine how funny it looks for a guy like me to be scared of a dentist.
This is not the case with the Dr. Ngyuen and his team. He is extremely helpful and set me at ease explained the process and made sure I was calm. His staff reassure you of any fear or question you may have. I have gone to see the doctor twice now and I know that I put my full trust in him and his team.
At one point during my extraction I felt some pain, I raised my hand and the doctor quickly stopped applied more anesthesia. He gave me a moment to catch my breath and relax he wasn’t making me feel rushed he made me feel safe and calm before continuing the extraction.
This place is so awesome I pretty much thank the whole staff. Thank you Dr. Nguyen!

There are five people working in the office, and apparently none of them know how to correctly perform an insurance verification. They gave an incorrect estimate over a week late.
What a waste of time and energy rescheduling work and commitments to find out that the procedure will never take place at this location.
Look somewhere else for a more professional office.

It’s been about 6 months since my appointment. It’s taken me this long because I hoped that my negative feelings about Dr. Nguyen would subside… but they didn’t.
If you want to be treated like cattle, this is the place to go.
I was referred to Dr. Nguyen by my dentist who is amazing, so I figured he would be just like her. Wrong.
I came in for a consultation to have my wisdom teeth pulled out. I had two impacted teeth on my lower set of teeth. The consultation was fine. He was concise and told me to come back a couple months later to have the procedure done.
Fast forward to extraction day.
I was feeling anxious about the operation because I’ve never had surgery before. granted this is nothing, I was starting to panic. My appointment was scheduled for an hour and I was thinking, 30 min per tooth? Deng.
A nurse ushered me into the OR and I sat down. I shared my concerns with her and she reassured me that everything will be ok. She numbed the back of my teeth with the obligatory pineapple smelling gel. Dr. Nguyen rushes into the room NO HELLO, NO GOOD MORNING, and NO «HOW ARE YOU TODAY?»
Oh I’m scared shitless and I have a deer in the headlights look but don’t mind me.
He came in tapped my cheeks decided that I’m numb enough and gets a needle with the anesthetic and jams it into my gum. Thanks for the warning. He pushes too hard on the needle and expels too much anesthetic too quickly. I felt the pressure of the fluid and it was as if it was going toward my eyes. I flinch and he says, «Oh yea, breathe, sit still, open your mouth larger that’ll help» TELL ME THIS AHEAD OF TIME. He was somewhat more civil to the other side.
When the anesthetic set in he came in and propped my mouth open with the plastic block. He proceeded to cut and PUSH down really hard on my jaw. It felt like he dislocated it. I made a sound since I obviously couldn’t talk. Throughout the procedure he used my forehead as leverage as he removed pieces of my wisdom teeth.
I never knew it was acceptable to use a patient’s head as a fulcrum.
After all was said and done, he snapped his gloves off and told me to talk to the nurse. No post-​op explanation. What can I eat? What do I do now? Do I get a syringe? What if stuff gets stuck in it? What do I do if my stitches come out? Nothing.
Fast foward week or two to the follow up
He came in handed me a syringe, looked at my mouth, and started to walk out.
Thanks guy. Thanks for making me feel so special. If you don’t sense the sarcasm in that statement, the multiple copies of your degrees and certifications on your walls hold just as much weight as the amount of bed side manner skills you have. Zero.
