Sifu Meng’s Kung Fu Wu Shu Academy

My son goes there since he was 5 years old, he likes it very much. Can’t say he is learning much about kungfu cause we don’t go there everyday but it does help him build lots confidence. I pay around $ 15 000 for 6 years black belt pogrom. It does cost a lot but it’s so convenient. For me it’s more like daycare you can drop him any time between 4pm to 9pm on weekdays or 9am to 1pm on weekends. I don’t like those scheduled classes, they cost more if compare with no limit class.

This is Scam, don’t sign up for any of the kung fu program, white belt, green whatever belt program, the owner just interested in your money, not in martial art, i agree with the other reviewer that it is a complete waste of money and effort to sign up with this academy. I signed up the basic program few years ago and i was locked in the contract for two years. Then i was relocated to a city 120 miles away from them, i told them it will not be possible to go there and train with martial art for any time due to commute time. Consequence? my account was placed in collection agency without prior notice and negotiation is impossible. The owner never talk to me, don’t listen my argument, and ruin my credit report for few years. Big Scammer. Don’t Sign Up!

This place use to be a wonderful place to train. They use to have patient teachers that really cared about the students and Sifu Meng use to be really serious about the art itself. It has sense degraded into a horribly dangerous, lazy place to train. No teacher at this school including Sifu Meng cares about the art at all. Sifu Meng just wants money and it shows in his prices. There is one good instructor here and that’s it. The other is horrible and doesn’t know how to control his temper. He frequently yells and gets in the faces of children and older students. Really has no idea how to act like an adult and represent the art that he’s supposed to be training people in.
Warning: You’re children are not safe at this school. Beware of irresponsible instructors especially when it comes to handling weapons (even if they are Wushu type weapons). In the last year there have been 3 instances in which a student or an instructor was injured due to irresponsibility with a weapon.
I do not recommend this place. If you are serious about learning Wushu or Kung Fu in general please seek another school.
