Preety has always givin me appointment when I need. I never have to wait long to get my check ups. Dr. Shoker is highly recommended in my book. I will continue coming here for my check ups.

Am the patient for a long time and lIke the Dr Shoker Dental service. He will take care of everything including insurance payments etc.
Particularly I like the receiptionist, Preety she receives very well and patiently book appointment whenever needed and walk-​in also carefully received.

I am so far satisfied. Their work is valueable compared to other offices in the bay area. I had composite fillings done. They removed the silvers and put in nice white looking ones.
I would give a 5 of 5 but maybe down the road after i get more experience with them.
I have heard all the bad rummors about dr shokar. Many of my family members reffer to him as the «butcher». But this review is not about him. In fact i have never had to deal with him. His staff doctors have always worked on my teeth and they have been superb. This milpitas office is a great choice to get work done regarding your teeth. The female doctor, which oddly enough they are all female, one was particularly nice. I wish i got her name. But she was so nice always making sure that the job was done perfect.
This is a thank you to her and the wonderful office she represents.

Finally a dentist who cares. I can’t begin to tell you the horrors I’ve suffered in the dental chair and I was scared walking in his office door. I walked in with the right side of my face swollen beyond belief. Dr. Shocker and his staff were kind, acted as if they really cared, extremely prompt, and easy going. They really put me at ease, and promptly had me out of pain. I am eternally grateful. Thank you Dr. Shocker and staff for making me feel like you truly care!

Super helpful and friendly folks. Dr. Shoker is very adroit at his work, Their office is very accommodating and friendly. They take care of your family members too in every visit. Preety Kamboj is the admin person. Extremely delightful and amiable. She understands patient’s requirements extremely well and helps arrange best service possible. Dr Shoker is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. He was able to do great cosmetic work on my mom’s teeth. Good prices even when you have a bad insurance.

THE WORST dentist ever. I’m writing on behalf of my mother who has had several infections after visiting this doctor for appointments. She was told she needs fillings and a crown, two days they told her she needs a root canal, then couple days later they said she got an infection. NOW they were saying she never needed a root canal in the first place! WORST PLACE, do not go here! There is no communication between the doctor and the assistance. I know he doesn’t take money from out of our pocket, it’s from the insurance, but I wouldn’t risk my health to save money.

Awful experience at both locations — here and Fremont. Be prepared to call multiple times to obtain your records and for the staff to lose your written requests to obtain your dental records. The staff simply does not care about the well-​being of their patients. This is hands down, the worst dental staff and experience I have ever had.

I am consistently treated bad here. The front and the back staff are rude. Dr. Shoker treats patients like he has no time for them and hand them off to one of his other dentists. All the work I have had done here and in the Fremont office has been marginal at best. I would avoid this place.

Services are great and very good staff and doctors are doing the job really great.

Very good staff and friendly. I like how they take good care of there patient specially one of the staff her name is Pretty. And Dr. Shoker was really good and I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

If there is a zero star rating, I would give that to this place. The staff is so unprofessional and rude. They never keep up their appointments. Their waiting times on an average is about 1.5 hours. So if you have absolutely nothing to do and want to waste your time, then go for it. Their rooms lack privacy. Their services are not that great either.

I have been going here for years, but recently stopped. There are so many issues with this place. I never trust what the dentists say. Last time I was there, Dr. Shoker was determined to fill in a cavity that he said needed to be fixed. My fiancé who is a dental student kept arguing with him about how he thought that the «spot» on my xray was a cavity. Finally Dr. Shoker admitted that he was not even sure. So thanks for trying to drill into my completely healthy tooth when you are not «sure» the cavity even exits. The time before that, he was so rough on my mouth that I could not chew on my right side for months and he told me it’s because I have TMJ problems. The time before that, he actually tried to fill 3 cavities. One he drilled but forgot to fill in (so I had to drive back AGAIN and wait through the ridiculous waiting times in the office) and the other filling just fell out after I was chewing an apple. The only reason I went to him was because I have shitty insurance. Now I’d rather just pay out of pocket but not have to deal with the unprofessional, cranky, and mediocre work quality of the doctors in this office.
Also – they treat you like you are dumb. They are not friendly and you are treated like an obligation and not like a patient. Extremely unprofessional. The receptionist who worked at the front desk always dressed like she was going to a night club and didn’t hesitate to make it know she was flirting with every male doctor who worked there.

ms. preety and joanne and butch and dr. shoker and dr. manjula and their support staff are very thorough, kind, and professional. great work, at a reasonable price… been going here for more than 10 years — close to the left of chase bank on morrill near landess avenue, milpitas.
i wouldnt hesitate to refer this office to any of my. family or friends. great job!

Priti and Dr Manjula are very nice and friendly persons. They both take care patient with great care. Priti always customized your appointment according to your need and Dr Manjula is very gentle and take care your dental problem any without pain. Excellent service.

This is about Dr. Sanchez’s inability and how Dr. Devinder Shoker’s office responded to my emergency.
Although the office of Dr. Sanchez is very accommodating and friendly, Dr. Sanchez is incapable of remedying basic emergencies. I went to see Dr. Sanchez to get a band aid treatment for having the worst pain ever, and I was bounced to another dentist for treatment, who called me later in the day to schedule an appointment the next day. Since the pain was so unbearable, soon after I left Dr. Sanchez’s office at 12:15 PM, I contacted Dr. Devindar Shoker’s office through a friend referral. By 1:30 PM I was in his office, and by 2:30 PM I was out of there with my tooth prepped for root canal because the tooth decay had touched the nerve, and the nerve needed to be killed. The pain was completely gone by the time the local anesthetics wore off. Dr. Shoker assistants specifically Mr. Fawad Popal did exactly what needed to happen to stop my pain in 30 minutes, and that is what I expected from a capable dentist and his staff. I shared my sentiment and the treatment I received from Dr. Shoker with Dr. Sanchez’s staff, and to my surprise, they were disappointed and shocked for my dissatisfaction. This reaction actually prompted me to write this review because Dr. Sanchez is not only incapable of handling such emergencies, but he and his staff are also oblivious to the fact that they are in capable. I live in Lathrop California and will travel the 75 miles to be treated by Dr. Shoker and his staff for all my dental works.

I would say that if you want yourself to be treated like a commodity then go there… We just went there as it was recommended by couple of our friends. If you are looking for a doctor with some professionalism dont go to this place…

Doctor Shoker is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. He was able to do great cosmetic work on my teeth as well as my mom’s teeth. He gives great prices and lets you finance the work within reason. He is very friendly and will help you and give you very good prices even if you don’t have insurance. I was quoted by two other dentists cosmetic work at a ridiculous price and he priced the same work he did for me and my mom at less than half of what other doctors were charging. It is so worth going to see him and getting a quote from him.

I’m gonna go out a limb and say this dentist doesn’t take rejection very well. After everything that happened I told them I found another dentist and will not be coming back. They won’t stop calling and I’ve told them every time to delete my number. But they won’t so hopefully this finally gets to them.
And btw according to Unilocal policy you’re not supposed to TELL people to change their review or remove it. This place should be taken off Unilocal

I’ve been going to Dr. Shoker for years and I’ve never had an issue with any of the work I’ve need on teeth. However they are extremely unprofessional when it comes to appointment times.
Why the hell are you going to book me at 4 pm and waste an hour an a half of my time if you weren’t going to start the procedure until 530pm?
Book appointments that fit the amount of staff you have available.
