3.5 stars They’ve got an abundance of the usual fried snack foods like crispy chicken, squid, lobster ball, takoyaki, fries, breaded zucchini, onion rings, etc. There are also rice bentos/bowls with ground beef & eggs, fried tofu and the rest of the fried meat items. I was surprised BBQ corn on the Cobb is $ 3.25! Hopefully they give a whole ear? Sad they didn’t have egg puffs when I went in. Or maybe they don’t have it at all anymore? Docking a star and a half because I know they use powdered tea … I used to love their hot milk tea with pearls when I attended school but I haven’t had pearls in a few years so I’m not about to start now. Lacking hazelnut under their milk tea menu, I spotted a flier advertising Nutella milk tea. I got that with grass jelly and surprisingly they didn’t give a lot of ice. The first few sips still had a somewhat thick Nutella consistency but after a few stirs it evened out and obtained the correct cold temp. I should’ve ordered a large for 50 cents more! After the club, I downed that drink in five minutes. Never happened before. The third super size is too big, unless you’re sharing. Huge selection of drinks: flavored milk teas, snows, flavored teas, flavored milk, hot grass jelly, slushes? icys? I don’t recall if they have those versions of snows– they probably do. Assorted toppings available: pearls, small pearls, flavored jellies galore. They’re open until 3am on Friday & Saturday, 2am on Sunday-Thursday. Major plus. Cash only.

Quiet, never packed. Quick and easy for drinks. The service is great and the drinks on par. My usually go to joint near my work, 5 minute drive!

Sesame bubble tea without any modification: it was an ok drink. Didn’t expect it to have more flavor, so thus the average rating. Next time, I’d get less ice to make sure the flavor doesn’t get too diluted.

This was the first place I’ve ever had milk tea which was almost 4 years ago and of all the tea places I’ve gone to this is still my favorite one. I dont know about now but before when we would come around 8pm-midnight it can get pretty packed with a bunch of car people. Bunch of different groups hanging around but its a pretty cool kick it spot. Ive only ever tried one food item from their list which was the fried tofu, my boyfriend loves it but every time I eat it I have a horrible stomach ache. The workers kind of come off aggressive but I think thats just how they talk. This is my favorite quicks to come to and I will probably always come to this one and Im all the way out here in hayward.

Im one of those people who love Quickly because I take it for what it is however, this location has lost my business. –Forgot they were cash only so I had to dig around my wallet for the cash and coins and since I don’t really carry cash, I ended up giving the cashier pennies I found in my coin purse. Boy, she gave me major stink eye so guess what, that other dollar I was planning to drop into the tip jar just went back into my wallet. –Ordered fried calamari and didn’t really wait long since it was handed over to me relatively fast. I was the second customer who came in and the ones before me only ordered drinks so when they shouted calamari and looked at me I didn’t question it and just began munching. Hubby and I were about done with the snack when the cashier yells at me across from across the room that I ordered calamari rings but took the calamari heads then waves her hand off… err, their menu didn’t specify calamari heads and I really didn’t mind eating all tentacles since I actually enjoy these parts more. What pisses me off is a) Yelling from across the room rather than approaching me like an educated human being and b) In Chinese she tells the customer after me who was following up on their order that I incorrectly took their order. Well hello biotch, I am not Chinese but I sure understand it and so does my very Chinese husband. My hubby approached her when she was done with the customers and asked her why she was blaming us. Only then does she realize we overheard her turning us into scapegoats for her own error. She apologized but the damage has been done. Goodbye Quickly Milpitas.

My boyfriend and I came here to get some drinks and snacks. I ordered the Takoyaki Octopus balls & Honey Green Tea w/aloe(all time fav). Of course I loved it what I ordered. Unfortunately though I wanted to get the egg puffs, they no longer were serving them. My boyfriend on the other hand ordered Honeydew milkshake, cookies n cream milkshake & popcorn chicken. The chicken was okay. But their milkshakes weren’t good at all, the Oreo one tasted like it was just ice with sugar and Oreos blended all together that’s more like the snow bubbles. The milkshake was supposed to be with some type of heavy cream or ice cream but the lady didn’t make it that way. Over all, we will return here and I wanna question on what ingredients do they use on their milkshakes just to clarify it.

This is Quickly, guys. Don’t go crazy and order something out of the ordinary just becase you see it on their never ending menu. Stick with the regular and I’ve been pretty happy: pearl milk tea, popcorn chicken. Or something along that line, maybe green milk tea, even taro milk tea. Maybe with pudding. Same with the food: Popcorn chicken, maybe in a rice bowl(and then you’ll get a bowl filled with LOTS of the chicken and a small layer of rice underneath). Or maybe even with some sides(popcorn chicken bento). Some calamari rings or fried octopus is ok too. But if you dare to try something out of the ordinary, you might end up with something really, really bad. For example, try some exotic sounding drink and you might end up with something that looks like a chemical, smells like a chemical, and tastes like a chemical. But if you do find something out of the ordinary that tastes superb, please do share with the rest of us here. I’ll just stay conservative for now They open super late. They’re cheap. Their quality is pretty consistent. So it’s one of the better Quicklys in the Bay in my opinion. Oh, and some people compare the milk tea with Fantasia, well I don’t think it’s quite fair. Quickly’s pearl milk tea is about a dollar and Fantasia’s is probably closer 5 bucks with toppings. And despite Fantasia’s more superior tea leaves, Quickly’s milk tea seems to have less caffeine than Fantasia. So for midnight snack I opt for Quickly for now

I came here as a last resort because me and some friends wanted food/boba. I ordered the litchi milk tea with pearls and it didn’t really taste like litchi at all. It was really disappointing. The boba was alright though so that is why it gets a 2 star instead of a 1. Definitely only going to come here as a last resort.

If I want pearl tea, Quickly is my LAST resort. I came here one time really late night since my other places were closed. They have a really long menu of drinks and food. I got the avocado smoothie and my boyfriend got a passion fruit smoothie. The avocado didn’t taste like avocado and their pearls tasted a little weird. My boyfriends passion fruit was pretty good. This place was a little packed, so we sat on the side at the tables while we wait for our drinks. There was this weird stench in that area and the tables were pretty dirty. Definitely, will keep this an absolute last resort place

So I had a craving for boba and popcorn chicken. This is a rare craving these days so I had to feed into it! So we went to Quickly as it was the closest thing and well the bf never had the Sweetheart version so we’re sticking to what we were comfy with. We got our drink fairly early but had to wait for our chicken and it took forever. The one thing that was a bit scary was this elderly asian man who was talking to himself and then pulled out his old taped up flip phone and pretended to talk into it. I at first thought he was the type that had a bluetooth headset on and talking to someone, but clearly it was not. He moved in several spots around the Quickly as well as leaving it a little and then coming back in. It was the most uncomfortable thing to be around and it was just making our wait for the popcorn chicken to be unbearable. The popcorn chicken was good though and plentiful for the price, but the wait was excruciatingly long so beware… mind you we were the only ones ordering at the time so it was doubly questionable why it took so long.

Pros: — Pretty big selection for a boba tea place. — Staff was friendly enough. — Like the late night hours. Cons: — Very crowded — Garbage cans overflowing and tables not wiped — Fruit flies and other bugs flying all around(this was my main gripe) As a side story, me and a group of friends were there from about 1:15AM to 2:05AM. From the time we got there until 2:00, there were mainly Asian teens /early 20s kids. At precisely 2:00, the crowd changed completely to 30s to 40s East Indians. It was surreal.

First of all, as a boba tea snob, I should have known better than to have stepped into a Quickly’s but I wanted some quick boba(get it?) and so I broke down. My boyfriend and I ordered or drinks after a nice couple ordered theirs, and already you could tell the girl working the counter was in a bad mood. She was brisk and had just stared us down while we were looking at the menu to order. When the drinks came out, the girl mixed up our orders, giving our drinks to the couple ahead of us and giving us theirs. We — the couples — had to sort it out ourselves. One of their drinks was wrong and had to be remade but we were done, so we headed out. Well, my boyfriend realized that his drink was missing the one reason we came in there for: pearls. So we went back. The girl actually argued with us on this, but I clearly remembered him saying yes to the pearl question(because I figured that this is the one thing boba places will get wrong on more occasions than other stuff). After we insisted that we had ordered boba, she went off to the back and returned very quickly with a drink filled with pearls. Needless to say we QUICKLY left and won’t be going back again. To add insult to injury, the boba wasn’t even that great. –_–

Milk Tea in Milpitas. I ordered a regular milk tea. The service was the only thing good about this place. The milk tea didn’t taste fresh. Even the straw was subpar. Pros: service was fast. Cons: milk tea was not good. Store was ehhh. Overall: probably not gonna comeback. Only if I’m super duper desperate.

I really like their popcorn chicken bowl. It’s not too pricey, just the right amount for what you get. I would come here just for the bowl, and sometimes get a black milk tea with small pearls. The drinks here are okay. I like the food more than the drinks. If you order the popcorn chicken bowl, you get a bowl of rice and a serving of popcorn chicken that you can add seasoning and have a side of sweet and sour sauce which taste amazing!

Tonight’s service was good. Yes, I know most of the time coming to a Quickly it’s so not the best service and all, but I had no problem with the girl who served me tonight. I walked in; there was two other people inside and I was greeted with«Hi, what would you like?» So I said«chocolate milk tea, the small size» she said«no Pearl? And ice?» I asked if it could be less ice and she was perfectly fine with that. I gave her the money she gave me my change back, and not even two mins later she came back with my drink. I said thank you and said she«you’re welcome». She didn’t have much emotions, actually none really, but did NOT have an attitude either. I rather have it that way. I CAN’T Stand someone giving me attitude when I’m an innocent person just coming in to give your business some business! Well TBH, I do like the Chocolate Milk Tea, CMT, from this place or Quickly overall. I have tried other CMT from other places and I like them too, but I still will go to a Quickly. It’s not a bad price, and my cup was filled all the way to the top, it always is. So, yes call me crazy, but I am giving this four stars. They still do NOT take cards though! That’s a bummer.

Their drinks are like 2 – 3 stars, nothing spectacular BUT I definitely come here for the snacks. I love love love their calamari heads. It’s chewy and squid-y and just delicious. They also have the best curry fish balls around town. I usually just get my tea at Fantasia next door and come here for the 4 star snacks! A little slow on service though but whatevs, I’d wait.

There’s something very wrong if a Taiwanese boba shop makes better takoyaki than any Japanese food stand I’ve been to. One order has 9 pieces and I ate about 7 of them easily. I absolutely love their takoyaki! The popcorn chicken is really bad compared to the other popcorn chicken I’ve tried around San Jose and Milpitas. I prefer my fried chicken to be seasoned without the need of dipping sauces. The portions are generous and large but they didn’t make up for the lack of taste. Even when we poured lots of pepper and shook it up, everything tasted the same. They don’t have board games to play with. All of their magazines are not in English, so I didn’t have much to preoccupy myself except watch the Asian music videos on their TV screens.

I realize I come here late night for my milk tea fix. It’s not by choice, I just have limited control over my cravings. The bugs, oh my gosh! You have a sign for everything else, why not a KEEPDOORSCLOSED sign? I opened my mouth to bite into a chicken, and have bugs in it. I am sipping my drink and have bugs flying into my face. $ 8 thrown in to the trash. I have now learned to order to-go. I hate to think of bugs flying in the kitchen as the food is being prepped!

I first discovered Quickly when I attended SJSU for my undergrad. There was a location across the street from campus, and I’d get drinks from there sometimes with my sister. Fortunately, I discovered that there was a Milpitas location that was much closer to my house than the one in downtown San Jose. I’ve only ever ordered the slushy drinks from Quickly. The strawberry slush with no pearls, to be exact. The drink always tastes very sweet and totally artificial, but good nonetheless. I’ve never had many complaints about this place, mainly because I always get my drinks to go. My one complaint would be the cash-only aspect, but if I never went to cash-only places, I’d be excluding a good number of venues I tend to frequent. While I’ve read that many other reviewers have experienced bad customer service, I am unable to say the same. Customer service has never been unfriendly the times I’ve been here, and I’ve never had my ordered messed up or forgotten.
