My Royal Palace

If I could give this place 0 stars or negative stars I would but unfortunately that’s not an option. My dad had been in touch with the owners of this place for over 6 months to rent it out for one of my wedding events. Every time my father called to meet and put a deposit down one of the owners kept saying «don’t worry, we have enough time, it’s okay». So On Christmas Day we called again to put the deposit down and he said the same thing, so January 18^th we called him to set up an appointment to come see the venue and put down the deposit and after seeing the venue, looking at the decorations, talking about a DJ, the idiot manager/​owner looks at his cellphone and says «oh, I think another couple booked September 1^st yesterday». All of us looked at him with an appalled look! I was shocked! We were set on this place, my decorator was there with me and the manager was in communication with my dad for over 6 months. The manager looked at me and asked me if I could change my date. Seriously??? This isn’t just some random party I’m having that I can change my dates, this is for my wedding! This place has been incredibly unprofessional and the manager was an absolute idiot, I have no words for this establishment. If you want a PROFESSIONAL venue for any event you are having, do NOT waste your time or your money with this place — specifically with Herman (this is who we spoke with and had been communicating with). Absolutely pathetic! Never ever go here.

This place is the worst mismanaged place in Bay Area. The owners are bunch of unprofessionals. They operate the place as if they are in Punjab, India and not Silicon Valley.
If you want a last minute screw-​up in your most important event like wedding then go and try to book this place. You will get your worst nightmare.
Never ever go near this place even if they offer 50% discount.

We used MRP recently for my son’s Graduation Party. Everything went perfectly. The decorations were exactly what I asked for. Food quality and quantity was great. And, service was impeccable. Empty plates were picked up immediately. Paul was there the entire night and ensured that everything went smoothly. Our guests left very happy and loved the food. Thanks to MRP specially Paul, Harmin, and Surjit for making this day special for my son. We will definitely be having more parties here. There were some communication issues in between but these guys really came through. A job well done!

We used MRP for our wedding reception. Paul walked us through the whole process, and he was very good. He was able to accommodate my wife’s tastes and preferences for the color scheme and all of the decorations. Paul was also always ready with ideas and suggestions for how to cut costs and keep everything under budget. MRP’s greatest strength lies in their flexibility. If we had wanted them to provide all services (catering, staff, DJ, projector, etc.), they were ready to do it. They have contacts for all of the above. However, we insisted on bringing in our own vendors, and MRP happily accommodated our plans. The final bill at MRP is fully itemized with no hidden costs — so you pay only for what you use — and this worked out well for us. Overall, we had a great experience and will probably go back for our next banquet or birthday.

I didn’t know there was another Royal Palace in Fremont! I only know of the one in Milpitas. And I thought that was the main one. But when I walked into the one in this location, I was very impressed because it was pretty big and I liked all the décor, and really did look royal, unlike the Royal Palace in Milpitas! Can definitely host 300+ people!

I attended a wedding here and noticed a few things
POSITIVES:
— decoration is very nice
— people are very nice to talk to and accommodating (the decorator, bartender, caterers, pretty much everyone I talked to)
— I enjoyed the food
— there are rooms upstairs for changing
NEGATIVES:
— they don’t have coffee, though they have a coffee maker
— the food is spicy so we emptied the 2 pitchers of water that were on the table, but no one refilled it the entire time we were there. I had to walk it up to the bar for someone to refill it
— the candles in each of the 3 water containers they use as decorations went out and no one came to relight it
— there were dead fruit flies on the new plates that came from the kitchen
— the DJ was slow. I wondered if he was high on marijuana. the introductions took forever. was he searching for the paper with the names of the people he was introducing?
They have a good set up, they just need to fine tune a few things. They also need to work during the event to keep it going as a good experience. it would be helpful to have a wedding planner or relative watch over the event

I have had two parties here at My Royal Palace and both were a success. Without the help of the management I would not be able to organize my parties. One of them, a graduation party, was organized in less than a week and was flawless. They helped me with catering, DJ, bar tenders, and security. The décor and presentation of the banquet hall is great and recommend My Royal Palace for your party or event.

We celebrated our Son’s birthday party in January here and the entire experience was really great. The hall is spacious and beautiful and we liked the décor too. All our guests were impressed with the venue. Meeting with owner Paul was a pleasure and he had been friendly and very accommodating. He also helped with some decoration ideas for our party theme. Thanks to Paul and the rest of the Royal Palace staff in making our event a memorable one. I would definitely recommend this banquet hall to anyone who would love to have a great event.

we celebrated our daughter’s B’day party here. The management team was extremely helpful and patient. They took care of all the party details according to our needs and also went out of way to support our party theme. We had such a great experience throughout the entire process from booking, planning, decoration, food until the end of the party. Definitely recommend this place for parties.

If at all I can give negative review I will. My things got stolen at my royal palace. They are thief. Book them if u want folks in yr party to be robbed.

We hosted our marriage reception their and it was a total disaster. Service was awful and two of my friends coats were stolen. When we reported this to Bobby, he was very casual about it.
And yes, another thing… most of the good rating you are seeing is written by management/​staff (check the reviewers have not reviewed anyone but MRP). Such a cheat

Really great place for a party with a gathering upto 150 (or 190 max), service is really good. very helpful staff. Manager specially was very courteous to us.
Strongly recommended for family functions and social gatherings.

Had been to a party at Royal Palace over the weekend. The place is very spacious with high ceilings and plenty of parking spaces. There were close to 100 people at the party.
Décor was great and the food was top-​notch. They provided ya with Projector screen and the PA system (at a small cost) and that worked out just great.

We recently hosted our 25^th anniversary at My Royal Palace and the luxurious venue was a key aspect in making it a memorable night. Many of our guests were throughly impressed and will be holding events there in the future. The friendly waiters were helpful all throughout the night and went above and beyond to ensure that the event ran smoothly. The food was delicious and we received many compliments on all three courses.
My Royal Palace is conveniently located between 680 and 880 which allowed guests from all around the Bay Area to attend the event.
In addition, Bobby, the manager, was very helpful and carried through with our every request.
I would definitely recommend My Royal Palace to anyone looking for a venue to hold their event.

We hosted a small reception at My Royal Palace recently for 140 guests. It turned out perfectly.
The best thing about this place is Bobby, the manager. He was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. He met all our needs and the event went without any hiccups at all.
This is also one of the more affordable places to throw a party — great value!
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to throw a party for 175 guests or less.

If you are decorating yourself, make sure somebody comes on time to open the hall for you.

In the bay area, this is definitely the BEST location. Honestly, you can customize the decorations and the setup, and they have many options to help. The color schemes are gorgeous and the uplighting just enhances everything. It really looks like a palace when you walk in. Best place to go for any type of event!!!
Also, the owner Bobby is an amazing guy and a very helpful person. He puts all his effort into making your event successful without being pushy or intrusive. Will definitely have more events at this place.
I recommend for anyone who is looking to throw any sort of event (from drinking parties, to family events, to corporate meetings)

Had my daughter’s Masquerade Ball Cotillion on 7÷20÷13 for 178 guest. Bobby (Manager), was very professional and had met all our expectations. It was an amazing event, all our guest had a wonderful time. Their feedback was that «My Royal Palace» is an ELEGANT venue. Will definitely recommend «My Royal Palace» to my friends.

We hosted our baby shower at My Royal Palace on May 5^th for approximately 120 people. We had such a great experience throughout the process — from finalizing the place till the last minute. Bobby (manager) is an extremely professional individual and we were in good hands throughout the planning process — from catering to seating requirements, lighting, DJ needs, Stage decorations, bar planning etc. He is very patient and provided us with multiple options for our event for all the above options.
Our event went really well with our guests enjoying it thoroughly. All feedback we’ve got is that the food was excellent (catered through My Royal Palace from Bombay Garden Fremont), seating arrangements and the ambiance at the place was very nice and the place itself very comfortable.
Shout out to the bartender as well. She does it for charity, i hear and i am impressed by this. She was very professional in dealing with our guests as well. Huge plus at such events, right?
All in all, we are extremely satisfied with the place and highly recommend it for hosting your events. Size of 120 is considered average for that hall and it has a capacity to support a lot more it seemed.

I have been to this place couple of times. overall i had best experience at this place.
Commendable service they provide, delicious food, friendly staff, specially manager Bobby should be awarded for his excellence customer service. very reasonable price. I would recommend this place to all my friends for their family events such as birthday parties, or any kind of party. This place has a huge parking lot and very easy access from 680 or 880.
Again one of the best and cheap banquet hall in bay area. Highly recommended.
