Don’t trust your data on their hard drives. Avoid them if you can. I’ve had about three die on me. They are good about sending in replacements and you don’t need to send the dead drive first, but they’ll take a credit card number from you as collateral if you don’t return their defective hard drive. I’ve been using Seagate and Western Digital hard drives without any problems. I’d certainly recommend those brands over this price of crap.

Their hard drives are TERRIBLE. I would highly recommend that you use another brand to store your data. I had 250gb maxtor hdd fail after 5 months of light usage, and now another maxtor drive has failed here at the office. My machine here at the office is an IBM ThinkCentre PC, and from what i hear… IBM is going to use Seagate hdd instead… most likely because Maxtor SUCKS!!!
