George Chow himself may be a nice guy, but his assistants are the worst. The overall experience was a nightmare.
They didn’t even keep track of appointments, only to tell me George was out sick when I drove there. And the second time when I was there, he didn’t even review my documents, all the work was done by his assistant. I had to sit with him to go over everything briefly and was rushed out.
I paid them when I left, and then they messed up with the record, kept asking me to pay before they could send in the final tax return forms. I had to send them the proof that I had already paid, back and forth several times.
The worst thing is, after that, they would never respond to any questions regarding the tax return. I would definitely avoid this terrible place.

G C Tax Institute is incredible! I used to go to a local tax guy in Union City and he seemed to always be busy and unconcerned with my taxes. Then I moved onto Turbo Tax. I felt I was doing great and had better returns.
I was referred from a friend to go to GCTI and was shocked at my tax return. I compared my tax return from Turbo tax before I went to them. The person who helped me was George and he was able to double my tax return refund. I was shocked and mad at the same time. Shocked because I was losing money because of Turbo Tax, and mad that I didn’t know about GCTI before doing all my tax returns. George took great care of me and again I was so grateful how hard she worked to make sure I got the best out of my refund. From this point on I am greatly happy because of the great work they put towards getting me the best refund possible.
I was also given a complimentary financial strategizing help from Nini. She got me to tell her my goals and when I want to retire. She then gave me a complete and detailed info sheet on how much I will need to make every year to get closer to my goal of retirement. each year I go to Nini and she helps me with strategizing for my up coming year. I feel I am getting control of my future with great financial stability with Nini’s help.
I Would GREATLY RECOMMEND GCTI for all tax purposes and help with coming up with a financial strategy for your retirement. I have told many of my friends and family to go to them for financial advice or just tax purposes. They are all happy and are always gonna do their tax returns at GCTI.

I had my consultation with Goerge Chow. Service charge seems reasonable and he seems knowledgeable so I gave it a try. It turned out that he was super nice and professional. Don’t wait for last minute where it gets crowded.
Afterward, he took his time to over my number and suggested stuff and rules that I was not aware off. Highly recommend!

This location had moved to 995 Montague Expressway, Suite 212. Make an appt before you go b/​c this place can get awfully crowded. My entire family goes here and I like it b/​c it is near my home. The consultants and tax advisors are very knowledgable.
