best lamb skewers I have had in the Bay Area and closest to the taste back jn China. They also have nice fried rice. A little pricy though, $ 1.6 for a small skewer. I would think $ 1 is more reasonable.

One of the best skewer places in the area. The prices are decent and there is a cash-special discount. Don’t hesitate to ask for your skewers to be non-spicy– it is equally as good. Order hella beef skewers! You won’t regret it! :D

Cheap and quick eat. I always get the beef skewers and garlic cucumber. They have an alright selection of beer. I kinda don’t like how everything it seasoned with the same seasoning. Wtf, I mean what happened to diversity. Also I took a glance at their kitchen, and it’s not the cleanest.

Not bad and not great. It is fun to try new places and I like the concept of this place, however, they could work on the flavors.

It’s so unfair that this place only got 3.5 star!!The BESTBBQ in bay area!! The service is a little bit slow but I DON’T CARE because the food is so right and so good, definitely worth waiting for. I love this place!

In my opinion, this is best place to hang with your bros. Not so much of a date place, however if your woman loves the smell of lamb and spicy, by all means this is a great choice. Be sure to order the BBQLAMB + BEEF. for first timer, just order 2 of each and see if you like the taste

This is just like the BBQ restaurants I went to in Beijing! I’ve been looking for a place like this forever! The prices are a little deceiving… they add up. Definitely try the lamb and the eggplant! It’s fun to get a bunch of things to share. The service was fast and, contrary to what I’ve read in other reviews, the waiters were perfectly polite(but maybe I’m just used to a more authentic, Chinese customer service style).

My boyfriend and I were hungry at about 11pm the other night and didn’t know where to go for food. Luckily ft was open. We were a little skeptical at first because this isn’t your usual grilled chicken and ribs bbq lol but we really enjoyed ourselves. We had chicken gizzard, lamb, shrimp, chicken skewers and chow mein. We had a lot of food for a good price. My favorite was the lamb, the flavoring was really good. They also have tvs up. The staff was friendly and the food came out quick. For a late night I would recommend this.

Food is great. Fact that they are open late is a plus. I got the Braised pork plate and Lamb kebabs, and they were excellent.

of all the chinese bbq places I’ve tried, this is the best place! I like here very much. I like the fried tofu very much! Also, the service is pretty good. All the people are very nice. I recommend this place.

So my friends and I went to FT for the first time on Thursday. I’ve heard of this place for years but haven’t got a chance to try it. Their lamb skewers and beef skewers are very good actually, just like the ones I had in China. They have ten skewers for fifteen dollars special, otherwise it’s 1.6 for one.

It’s been years since this place first opened, and it remains to be on my very top list whenever I think of Chinese style BBQ/lamb skewers. The proportion of lean and fat meat has always been the same – perfectly balanced. Be sure to also order some of their cold dishes, they work very well with the grilled meat. Those of you who dislike spicy food, can always request the meat grilled without chili powder as well! I would recommend you to call them first if you are coming in with a huge party or getting to-go food as it does take some time to get the grilled skewers ready, but I assure you that the food you get will be well worth it. 5 stars, my friends and I come here at least once every two weeks!

Lived in the northeast for 5 years, this was authentic and the owners are nice. Exactly what I’d expect from a northeast BBQ. Lost one star for price, not sure how they are charging so much.

There used to be 2 Chinese bbq places in Milpitas square area, and this one survives. It is kind of a statement already. I have tried both before and I am happy that FT is the one that stays in business. One big plus, it OPENS till late — if you are living in this area, you know why I appreciate this that much. Second, most of the Chinese bbq place over season their meat — you can see tons of seasoning powder on the meat: in this place, you don’t have this issue. The menu is really typical: including beef, lamb, chicken and some seafood. Of cause, given that you can take intestine, you can find some hardcore favorites here too. It is usually good to have beer to pair with skewers, they do serve 5 types tap beer: Sierra/Modelo etc. Good for some causal drinking. If you have cash with you, ask for the cash special — you can get some discount from it.

this place is in the same plaza as 85 bakery. soooo i wanted to look for another place kind of closer to my home other than TLTBBQ. Thank goodness for Unilocal because i came across this place. food is bland, compare to TLT but then again, thats when you know they didnt soak your dinner with MSG. their portion is smaller too with about the same price. service is like any other asian place, you gotta track them down and(with my voice) scream out, «excuse me!!!» my favorite dish of the night from here you might ask? FRIEDRICE. try it, its pretty good

Terrible Services! Waiters are like gang members. Don’t go there if you don’t know kongfu. BBQ is so so. Too salty. Dumpling were not bad. Since the waiters are scary, I won’t go there again.
