Has Chinese greeting cards for birthdays and weddings. Not the largest selection, but it got the trick done. The employees were willing and able to point me in the right direction to find them, which was nice.

We went to this bookstore to buy some Chinese children’s books. The store owner was chill and nice. She wasn’t a jerk like the other reviews said. We looked through a couple books before making the final selection. The owner didn’t mind at all. They have both traditional and simplified children’s books. Although it seems there isn’t any simplified children’s book without pinyin notations. It’s really comforting that such bookstore still exists given the fact even English stores struggle to stay in business.

This is a small bookstore with the most god awful book buying experience. I was in the store browsing their selections. Within 10 minutes, the owner came by to interrogate me about if I’m going to buy or not. Subsequently accused me of «stealing» if I’m not buying anything. What kind of customer service is this? Who does she think she is, the soup nazi? If you believe in treating customers with respect and dignity, I urge you to boycott this store. I certainly will.

Don’t go this place. If you look around without buying anything, the owner will keep staring at you with a very dirty look.

Though it’s a small bookstore, they have a bit of everything. From CD, DVD, magazine, books, novels, comics to dictionaries. This is the closest Chinese bookstore to my house, so I try to grab a few Chinese magazines whenever I’m nearby. They also have some outdated magazines and comics for sale, so if you missed out on an issue, you can probably find it here at a discounted price.

I’ve been coming here since I was 12. They do carry plenty of books and you can special order books that are currently not in stock.

Good place to get your Taiwanese import magazine fix, whether it be technology, fashion, gossip featuring scantily clad women. Also lots of Japanese manga translated into Chinese(Taiwanese pressings), plus lots of older back issue Taiwanese magazines in the back where few people roam. There’s also a decent section of Taiwanese pop(no indie or rock music), some mainland(pirated) DVD movies and Korean movies with Chinese subtitles, also Taiwanese pressings of popular Japanese pop titles(some might be outdated and just sitting there collecting dust). Also a good place to buy long distance telephone cards, though they accept cash only for them.
