Becoming a therapist has been a lifelong dream for as long as I can remember. I am now convinced it is my destiny to work with people to help them to achieve more satisfying lives and true joy.

I grew up in Palo Alto, CA and participated (as a junior high student) in a pilot project entitled «peer counseling» originated in the 1970s by Barbara Varenhorst. After that year of «counseling» fellow junior high students, I was absolutely hooked and have never looked back.

I took a fairly circuitous, but very fun route to become a bilingual licensed therapist, always knowing I would have a private practice of my own someday. I believe that having dreams is crucial, and I am truly living the dream now helping others to achieve theirs.

I lived in Mexico twice… once as a high school student for a summer in Oaxaca and then again for my College Junior year abroad in Mexico City. I have studied Spanish all of my life and am thrilled to be bilingual and serve the Spanish-speaking community.
