The crowd can get a bit rowdy and ghetto at times, depends on when you go. However they don’t bother you if you don’t bother them. Music is pretty good, so is the food. Its alcohol and games so that is a big plus… will keep coming back.

Walked in the restaurant, my friend and I sat down and not one server acknowledged us. Their was 5 male servers and 1 female server and all they were doing were hanging around the drink station texting on their phones. After 10 min I was still waiting for a menu mind you it was empty. One server walked by and we asked to order and he rudely remarked that he was busy and would send someone to help us. After another 5 more min of waiting we left. never will I return to this place. These servers were rude, snobby and don’t know a lick about customer service. what a joke… I give them zero

I walked in to get a table and my friends were late and had to pay to get in and just eat dinner. The manager was rude and said that is how it is! I never heard of such a thing. Very bad business.

It’s been a long time being here at Dave and busters. We were here to see the Clydesdale horses and thought, we would eat dinner here at the Great Mall. We didn’t eat where all the games were at we were in the middle section prior to the games. Great service and friendly atmosphere lots of music playing not too loud good videos and clean inside.

I mainly come to Dave & Busters for the drinks and games. However, I’ve eaten here a handful of times as well and had a pleasant experience with each dish I’ve ordered. Most recently I came here for happy hour with friends, and enjoyed my White Peach Sangria. I also ordered the braided pretzel, a new item to me that was delicious! The games are all mostly well kept and in order, with some that are older or temporarily out of order. I have a Dave & Busters Power Card that I reload every time, and the tickets are virtually connected to my card so I don’t have to lug around a bucket of them with fear that they’ll get snatched up. The newer Star Wars Battle Pod is legit. I’d spend all my points playing that game but it doesn’t give tickets and I’m all about those stuffed animal prizes(see giant Hello Kitty prize pictured below).

Dave & Busters is the hoopla of Milpitas. Being within the Great Mall it brings in the bodies and faces that give you a good idea of how the area is as a community. This is all well and good but my Sex on the Beach was weak. Having it fixed was a slight improvement but you can’t go wrong with the beers.

I will start off by saying I had a great time but… Me and my girlfriend were at the bar sitting near the station where servers collect their drinks and we watched a girl named Natalia(we made sure to look at her name tag after) blow her nose in a napkin then immediately grabbed 2 limes and squeezed them into drinks she was about to serve and placed them into the drinks. As if that wasn’t bad enough then she grabbed 2 straws took them out of the wrappings and grabbed them with her hands and placed them in the drinks… disgusting My girlfriend and I had a great time I had 3 tall blue moons and she had one Hawaiian Mai Tia for drinks while we watched the Warriors game. For an appetizer we shared the braided pretzels with beer cheese and habanero honey mustard dipping sauces. We both liked each sauce although the mustard sauce was extra tasty. For our entrées I had the Philly cheese steak and my girlfriend had the crisp apple and pecan salad. She really enjoyed her salad especially the candied pecans her one complaint was the apples had been sitting in lemon juice so they didn’t brown but also gave them more of a lemon than apple taste. The cheese steak was good although the amount of onions and peppers compared to the meat was a little skewed towards the veggies side. Everything came to about 53 dollars rounding up. The games were fun but the fact you had to put a minimum of 25 dollars on the card was a little ridiculous. I would have rated this a 4 if it was not for the gross server that I am glad I didn’t have.

Let’s be real, you come here for the arcade and drinks. not the food available at the restaurant. I use to come here all the time with family and friends on weekends. It was packed! Now I only come Wednesdays for their half off games. Most of the machines that involve coins are old so your coins get stuck easily or you don’t receive tickets for making coins fall over the edge. Don’t expect phone calls here. You’ll either have poor service or you won’t hear anything.

One star for the games. I’m pretty disappointed in this place. It was filthy we waited at a table for a solid 30min before we gave up hope that someone would come clean the prior parties mess. Why should we have to clean that up?! Managers were walking by as we bussed the table ANDNEVERSAID A THING! The servers were rude and gave us ridic stares when we asked to be served and for water. Really made me want to go back.

Well there isn’t much to say but Dave and busters is great for entertaining small gatherings and watching the big game. The gaming area is loaded with all the new games to enjoy, but the downer is they are pricey, so your dollar doesn’t stretch out as far as you would like. Food isn’t too bad in price, but they reel you in by including the power card with your purchase. Service was pretty good for a Sunday but are typically packed throughout the weekend. I noticed groups coming in after one so I’m assuming it’s better to come as early as possible or reserve an area. The bar area was great and our waitress was very punctual and checked in on us periodically. The food was awesome and drinks were average priced. In all the kids had fun and I was able to watch the game at the same time, quite the rarity since I have three boys. Pricey in terms of game enjoyment but still a great time out.

I have been here quite often enough to understand how this massive adult arcade functions. Although it may not be as glamorous or as entertaining as it is depicted on the D&B commercials, this location does well business wise. Since it’s been recently renovated, there is a lot more opportunities for patrons to watch any sporting event but it also allows more crowds and stresses the servers and bartenders to provide quality service. This by no means excuses those employees who do not give a sh*t tho. My advice is to go in open minded and understanding to any problems that may arise during your visit at this location.

I always have mixed feelings when I go to Dave and Busters. The services is normally good, and my children really enjoy themselves. However the gang of security, the line to get into the arcade and a bit much. I always feel as though something is going to go down with rival gangs so I pay close attention to our surroundings and keep a constant eye on my little ones. The food is bar food. If you can get a place at the bar, its great for big games and UFC fights.

Let’s see. The food was standard. I could whip up a burger and buy some pre made buffalo chicken tenders that taste waaaay better then what this place has to offer. Food is along the lines of apple bees and prices around the same. I enjoyed that there were two dinning areas. One that catered to the quiet crowed/private parties and the other that was near the bar and games. The food service was incredibly fast considering how busy the place can get. Our host was very friendly and attentive despite how busy she was. The bartenders however were extremely slow. Counting tips when there is a long line of lushes lol. It also didn’t help that there were only like 3 bartenders. The games were fun some were pretty outdated. The cool games run u like 16 tokens.($ 10 = about 35 tokens) me n my partner paid 75 for like 325 tokens and honestly once u begin to play u realize that there are not Manny games. This place is definitely for children. All the little cuties hogged all the games and when ur having fun on one of them. Expect to to have a little child desperately waiting there turn. All in all I will be back for another fun date night. I enjoy that the place is connected to the great mall so expect to get some deals and end the night with fun at dave n busters.

Dave and busters is one of my favorite places in the world! With that said I have always had a hit or miss experience here every time come. It is an adult chuck e cheeses which is amazing, this meanings its games and alcohol and food. The food is all American, I love the buffalo wings and the Mac and cheese so I always get it. I also like a glass of la crème Chardonnay wine as well. That gets me ready to beat the house of the dead and Jurassic park. I also love the 4 person air hockey table! There are racing games, shooting games, skeeball, games that get you lots of tickets, and much more. Come here for happy hour or when the random dinner and game deals are available. That is when you will get the best deals and hopefully it will be less crowded

This review is solely on my customer service experience: Came here last night to celebrate my friends 23rd birthday. I think our waitress names was Kacie or Kacy, and she was very polite and did an amazing job on keeping us updated on our order and would stop by every 10 mins asking us we needed anything else. Unfortunately, the kitchen was running a little behind on everyone’s order so we had to wait a while for our actual dinner to get to us, but our waitress was always double checking with the kitchen to make sure when our food would be ready. After waiting about 40 minutes with no signs of our food being ready yet, the manager stepped onto the floor and came by our table and kindly apologized about the wait and explained the situation to us ladies and we really appreciated that. And since he knew it was my friends birthday he let her order a drink from the bar with no charge. Once our food finally showed up and once we started eating, both our waitress and manager kept checking in on us throughout. Me and my friends definitely appreciated their efforts

I CAMEOUTOFDAVE&BUSTERSWITH A DIRTYASS $ 200-PRIZE COVEREDINTEARS. Trust me, I won’t be back. Neither will any of my friends. Or their friends. BYE. A little background about me: 1. I’m a university student who attends school in Davis, CA. 2. It was my anniversary with my boyfriend. 3. I love unicorns & collect them(stuffed ones, of course). Keeping all this in mind, my boyfriend and I drove from Davis to San Francisco to spend our anniversary. We were around the SFO area when we decided to head down to Dave & Busters because my boyfriend loves arcades. Granted, it was a 5pm on a Monday evening out of the city. It literally took us two hours to drive 32 miles. After we arrived at the Great Mall, we headed over to Dave & Busters. We spent $ 50 + Supercharge on our card and played a few games. After counting our points, we had about 2,100. Originally, we were planning on trading in these points for a small stuffed unicorn pillow from Despicable Me(1,800 points). However, we noticed that there was a large unicorn prize that amounted to 6,000 points. Given how we already spent over $ 50 on tokens, we felt that it was possible for us to reach 6,000 points if we didn’t dick around and played games solely for point hoarding. My boyfriend had been playing a few rounds of Stackers right before we ran out of tokens, and he had earned 200 points from each game. However, the Stackers card reader was actually broken. You could still play, but it didn’t display how many tokens the game took, or your current point balance. We decided that if the token cost for each Stackers game wasn’t outrageous, we would try to go big. We asked one of the staff members the token cost for Stackers, and she was unsure. She called another staff member through her walkie-talkie and then told us it took 6.9 tokens. Okay, no big deal. We decided we’d go for the 6,000. An hour and another $ 80 later, we realized something wasn’t right. We went over to one of the kiosks to check our card history. Turns out the Stackers game actually took 9.9 tokens. Okay, THISWOULDHAVECHANGEDEVERYTHING. We literally did the math to see how many times we would need to win, assuming the game only took 6.9 tokens. No way in Satan’s bootyhole would we have attempted the large prize if we knew Stackers took 9.9. YESITMADE A BIGDEAL. –Warning: I’m about to F-bomb terrorize this next paragraph– At this time, we already blew over $ 100 and two hours at this fucking arcade – I was not leaving without the fucking unicorn. Out of frustration from being misinformed, my boyfriend and I started fucking up the Stackers game and not reaching the 200-point mark. FYI if you don’t reach the 200-point mark, you get 2 points. TWO. POINTS. The fuck. So from getting mad at fucking up, we started fucking up even harder, and spending even more money, and getting even angrier, and fucking up even harder. So we went to the fucking kiosk like a million fucking times to the point that it kept rejecting our credit card and making us go to the front desk because our cards started to think we were committing fraud. HELLYEAH I’M FUCKINGMAD. So when we FINALLY reached 6,000 points, I ran to the prize desk because I was literally shitting rainbows out of my ass in happiness that we could leave. We spent like $ 200 on this unicorn and I was so sick of Stackers at this point. Okay, now imagine this scenario: You’re a five-year old girl who wanted a puppy your entire life. Your parents promised you that they got you a puppy for Christmas and when they hand you over a wrapped present, you think it’s the puppy, but then you open it and WHATTHEFUCKISIT? A PIECEOFFUCKINGSHIT. Yeah I went to claim my unicorn and they’re like«we don’t have anymore.» Excuse me? Did you really just ??? I’M SORRY!!! WHYTHEFUCKDOYOUSTILLHANGITUPAS A PRIZETHEN? I feel so sorry for the guy who had to deal with us because he was really nice and patient – I was just over my shit at this point. Now when I’m upset, I don’t go ballistic. I’m dead silent. My boyfriend knew immediately what was wrong and you could see the disappointment in his eyes(since he was the one who played like 100 games of Stackers). Rewind. I’m a full time college student. He’s a full time college student. Maybe you can wipe your ass with $ 200 and call it no big deal, but $ 200 is a solid half-month paycheck for me. It’s our anniversary – we should be happy and laughing and doing cute coupley things, which an arcade is supposed to be, but NO. We drove two hours in traffic PLUS all the million miles from Davis to come to this hellhole. We spent two hours farming the same game. I just walked away crying. The bf didn’t like to see me cry so he went back and argued his way through. In the end, they found a unicorn in the stock room, but it was old & dirty. If you ever want to waste $ 200, several hours of time, and ruin your anniversary with tears, I highly recommend D&B!

Had my phases of dave & busters. Would use to come here pretty much every wednesday for the half off games and happy hour after 10pm for drinks. It was the To go to Spot for a lot of people. The drinks ended up being $ 3 – 6 depending what you get with the happy hour price which is a bargain. but there are only so many bartenders there so it would sometimes take 30 minutes to even get noticed. I would suggest lining up at 9:45pm to get drinks. Its One Drink Per ID. Arcade games are pretty standard although MY most placed ones are the basketball ones, air hockey, Beer pong and… Deal or No deal. The prizes here are pretty standard. ranging from cheap junk to bigger prizes that could be bought at target for $ 20. There are sometimes cover for entry so be here earliar. Under 21 should come in early as well as they check IDs generally at 9pm. Varies from day to day though. Parking is plenty. Restaurant food here sucks for the price. Pool tables also available. TV screens at the bar, good for occasions such as warrior playoffs. Aiteeeeeeeeeee spot.

Turned off by a lackluster games area at D&B’s Roseville, I was reassured that this location would be much better. Also, I used to live in the East Bay and go to the Great Mall as a kid, fun times. Just finished hiking Mission Peak and needs some grub. Pretty empty, then again it was a midweek Wednesday afternoon. I had the Balsamic Chicken and J. got some kinda ribs and wings and fries dealio. Each menu item we picked included a $ 10 game play card. Only two menu items were below 600 calories, which I guess isn’t too much of a surprise, but they didn’t even sound that good to begin with! If you’re watching what you eat, eat somewhere else first then come here to play. The midway area was very impressive. Also, it was ½ off games since it was Wednesday, so our cards lasted longer. I enjoyed the mix of midway type games, classic arcade games, touchscreen games, etc. Seriously, I had fun from Kung Fu Panda to Trivia to Deal or No Deal, Fruit Ninja and Doodle Jump to the Speed of Light game. I even matched the color to get the 1000 tickets once! When you are running low on credits, you can bring it down to zero by playing a last free game of good old Skeeball. Altogether, combined we earned about 1850 tickets, which meant we went home with a pretty big Minion stuffed toy. The one with one eye, is that Stuart, Bob, or Kevin? The desserts you could trade your tickets for did look pretty good too… Maybe it was a little more fun than usual since I was taking the day off from work, what a fun way to spend the afternoon!

There seems to be a huge disconnect between the array of seating hostess on duty and the wait staff. We were seated at 630pm and sat until 705pm until I waived down the seating hostess asking if there was a server for our section. Another 5 Minutes later it was cleared up and a waitress came to take our drink order. Since we were sitting for so long our table had already decided what we wanted for drinks, appetizers, entrée, and desert. As we did not want to wait any longer we put our entire order in during the drink order. Our waitress Olivia was OK with that and brought out everything we ordered which was surprisingly correct after overhearing some of the other tables complaints. She did a great job and checked up on us regularly so no complaints there. I come to D&B’s a lot to play games and we pretty much ate for a really low price because I redeemed my tickets for all the menu items you can redeem for. this is awesome they added this feature into the ticket redemption prize area. The food was A-OK(see pictures) and although we had a hiccup in the beginning with sitting for so long everything made up for itself and everyone was happy. The game room has been moved around and they are going ticketless on the ticket redemption games. Just be aware that your card will need to be updated to accept digital tickets. This is a huge plus no more carrying tickets and waiting in line to count your tickets. The down side to this is my personal player power card no longer works, I had to get a new card but they were able transfer all my tickets over. Still sad as it was very unique and one of a kind. Oh well. D&B is trying and all the bad review wont keep me away, I have a soft spot for this place. ****4 stars for game room. ***3 stars for the dining room seating fiasco.
