Custom Alterations

The tailor, Mike stayed an extra 30 min for me to drop off my dress and even got it done within 24 hrs for my even the next day! He is awesome!

I had my suit tailored here awhile back when Eileen did it for me. Her work was amazing and I knew I found my main tailor. However, I went back a year later to get my suit done for my engagement photoshoot and Eileen was no longer here :(Long story short, I let the new tailor work on my suit and when I got it back, it was awful and horridness! They also lost my buttons from my suit which they never cared to find. I never wanted to come back and I was in search of Eileen. Luckily through Unilocal,I found her. She’s working on my suit for my wedding as we speak and I can’t be more pleased and assured my suit will come out perfect :)

I made a mistake going to this place. They want money upfront. Messed up my Hugo Boss suite. Looks like they just hire any one from the street. I should have noticed that last review they got was a while ago. Truly my worst experience looks like they are only good for rentals.

My husband was in a pinch to get a patch sewn onto his Army uniform cap & most tailor/​alterations were already closed by the time he got off training. Thank goodness for Tuxedo Warehouse & Custom Alterations for being open until 8PM & taking on our very rushed job!
Eileen was so sweet & fixed up the horrid sewing job in no time. She was so professional & very quick/​efficient with what she does. She was sweet enough that she didn’t charge us for the service, but we insisted on paying her regardless. Thanks Eileen for your quick & superb service!

WOW and Thank You are the immediate words that come to mind.
In my closet lived a pair of pants that I just HAD to wear on my birthday. I put them on and was reminded why they lived in my closet; they needed a stitch in the zipper area :-/​While I was getting ready I had sent my husband out to find a dry cleaner, tailor, grandma, aunt… just someone to assist with this stitch. He came back with no luck, and said «babe, it is Sunday» It was my birthday and that wasn’t good enough for me ;-)
When in doubt, go to Unilocal.Bingo, bango, buck… someone that is open on Sunday. I gave a quick call and got the most polite voice on the other end. He was so helpful and cute commented. I explained that it’s an easy stitch and that it would be AWESOME if I can wait for it (a girl can dream, right). We all know often times when it’s not your profession things are always easier said than done. He told me to bring them down, but can’t promise anything. Ok *high 5* we’re getting somewhere
Walked into the store and was greeted by all kinds of wonderful personalities, and I got to meet Will the cute young man on the other end of the phone. He is sooo adorable!!! Oh wait, and those eyes, I mean smile :-)
I missed getting the seamstress’ name, but her upbeat attitude and friendliness sure did go a long way. She took a look at what I needed and with no hesitation, she found matching thread and showed me her skills. Zip, zip, zip… 1, 2, 3… all done. I would’ve still been trying to thread the needle squinting with 1 eye closed.
I walked out of there with a HUGE smile feeling so grateful and appreciative. We now call these pants my «Birthday Pants»… Thank you Custom Alterations at Tuxedo Wearhouse!!! you all ROCK \m/​\m/​«Dime Bag Darrell»

I am a regular here so I can vouch that the alterations are good but I had one pair of slacks with a crooked hem. Went in today and it was super busy and even though the sales people noticed me hanging around, no one acknowledged me that it would be a moment. The young Hispanic kid that eventually came asked me what I needed and when I told him that I wanted to ask if they can make a dress into a skirt he looked a little puzzled and asked ‘make it shorter?’ He didn’t seem to understand what I needed So he told me to wait for Eileen. Eileen was busy helping someone with altering a wedding dress so that would probably take another hour so I told him I would just go somewhere else. He seemed ok with losing business and didn’t try to see if anyone else would be able to help. Would I return? Probably but only if I was at the mall to do other things but wouldn’t go there on a weekend.

Custom Alterations came to my rescue. Looking for an ascot, I sensed Eileen would know exactly what I was talking about. I called the location here at the Great Mall to see if they had ascots that I could rent.
Eileen said that she could make me a custom ascot, by hand! The ascot price was just right, fabric was very fashionable, and my deadline was met ahead of time. Suffice to say, I was the best dressed at the Mystery Dance. Eileen and Custom Alterations, thank you for the outstanding service and care.

Got my jeans altered here. They did a nice job. The tailor is very friendly. It does have a long turn around time but if you are in a rush you can pay a little extra and get you alternations quick.

I have been to Great Mall and bought so many pants and have it altered in a different place for $ 11. However, one day I decided to bring in my pants to Custom Alterations to be altered for $ 8. I’m sold in their service esp their same day service which you pay for $ 2 more but for me its worth it because the staff is very accommodating and super efficient. Plus, the finish product is done very well.
Eileen the seamstress is super friendly and profressional. She will explain to you if she can do the job for you same day service because the place seem so busy.
I am going to keep giving them business because I like how they treat their customers with respect and handle their business professionally.

I had two pants hemmed. One was perfect, but the other one was an inch longer. I don’t know if the guy marked off where to cut correctly. I should’ve made sure instead of handing over my pants and leaving. Oh well, lesson learned.
Next time, I’ll try on my pants and ask Eileen the best length to cut it at.

very impressive!!! The salesman, James, is very professional, and picks the rightest clothes for you. Then the tailor, Joseph, gets them altered perfectly for you. Plus they do everything with reasonable prices :)

Great place to get your clothes altered. 1 Day service is available in case of last minute fixes. I’ve had 2 dress shirts, 1 jersey, and 1 Jacket dropped off, finished, and picked up in the same day. The quality of their services is as good as it gets with a very affordable prices.
