Crosspoint Church of Silicon Valley

I accepted Jesus as my personal savior back in 1997 while working overseas and have been attending Crosspoint shortly upon my return to the States. I enjoy their contemporary worship style and the sermons come with outlines and are easy to follow. In the past 2 years, I have joined their Brazil short-​term mission trips and found it helpful to my spiritual journey. Thank you Crosspoint.

We have been attending Crosspoint since year 2000. Crosspoint is our spiritual home. We got support from the pastoral staff and fellowship through their life group programs. They offer Cantonese, Mandarin worship service in addition to the English Service on Sundays. They also have dedicated children and youth ministry staff and offers excellent children and youth program.

I have attended this church for over 9 years even before my younger boy was born. Pastors here are always supportive and they have shown selfless love and passionate on people. By saying that I mean besides taking care of the church members here at crosspoint, they always motivate members to reach out to care for people outside the church into the community and also hhrough short term mission to reach out to people who have never heard of the gospel in other countries or states, be in the poorest area in Arizona to South American to China.
Sunday worship is great especially for younger generation because worship music and songs are more contemporary. Messages are very life related and practical so people can understand easily. Small groups were designed for different stages of life such as singles, couples, families with young kids, families with teenage kids, and more mature families.
The pastors are all God loving individuals who have visions in serving God with their own gifts and in their own positions. But when it comes to challenges that is violating the Bible’s teaching, they do not compromise to the secular value and that may offense some people who have a different value system and priority.
On the other hand, I am not saying that the church is completely holy and perfect. The church is as good as the people in it and we are all sinners against God but God loves us enough to forgive us and bless our church to grow in both spiritually and in number. There are always room to improve for each of us and the church is doing its very best to facilitate an environment for the believers to grow and non believers to get to know God’s will.

The youth group here is medium size and full of fun. They have a lot of fun activities such as missions trips, Tim be told concert (s), and guest worship bands (such as Shio and the #Hashtags). Pastor Matt and Gabriel are real down to earth and makes a personal connection in discipleship with the youth and other English members.
Super importantly:
They have theologically sound lessons that are easily made applicable to daily life.

Senior pastor and his wife are dictators. It is a comestic church.
