Creative Solutions has specialized in used and refurbished Haworth modular furniture since 1972, and currently carries an inventory of over $ 15 million in its San Jose warehouse. Full refurbishing and painting capabilities are maintained in-​house, and a dedicated install crew ensures that we maintain control of your project from beginning to end. History

Established in 1972.

Our sales come from used and refurbished Haworth modular furniture, as well as brand new office furniture such as task chairs, conference tables, filing systems, laminate and veneer desks, and any other furniture that’s required when setting up an office. Creative Solutions has been on the San Jose Business Journal’s list of «Largest Office Furniture Sales & Rental Companies» since 1998. Creative Solutions is recognized in the office furniture industry as the largest refurbisher of Haworth systems furniture in the Bay Area, and enjoys a lot of wholesale business from other office furniture dealers throughout the state of California. Our growth is attributed primarily to repeat business from existing customers, which include NASA Ames, City of San Jose, Stanford University, UCSF Medical Center and Northrup Grumman. In addition we work with a number of small startups and emerging companies, offices that are on a budget but still want their environment to make a powerful statement.

Business Owner

Bob purchased the company in late 1996 after a 15 year career as a marketing executive with several major companies, including Federal Signal, Helene Curtis Industries, and Collagen Corporation. The office furniture business is extremely service-​oriented, and Bob’s motto is the «Golden Rule»: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Bob appreciates being in a «green» business that has refurbished literally millions of dollars worth of office furniture that might have ended up in a landfill at the end of it’s «useful life». He prides himself on taking care of his customers, as well as building a team of dedicated employees who honestly care about customers. Most of Creative Solution’s employees have been with the company for many years.
