I’ve never had any problems here so I was shocked at the low rating. The employees always greet you once you walk in the door. This is my go-to Cosmoprof store and it is always a smooth, easy, and quick trip.

I called in ahead to see if they have any of the ½ inch flat iron and the girl said yes there’s many. I repeated again that I want the Mini half inch flat iron and she was sure they have it. I asked how much but she won’t tell me the price, that’s ok, store policy maybe? Before I could ask any more questions she said«bye.» What the… Super rude. As soon as I got off the phone i drove to the store to pick up the mini flat iron to found out they ran out! The girl(Krystal) said«uh, no we don’t have any travel sizes as of the moment». But I called in and you were sure you have it? Apparently, I did not ask for a travel size flat iron. I asked for the mini ½ size flat iron which is the same crap as the travel size! She was rude; super rude! Not a smile, didn’t want to answer my questions at all.

Beauty supply store with a wide variety of salon grade products for hair, skin, nails, and more. A ton of different bands like Paul Mitchell, Tea Tree, American Crew, Joyco, K-Pak, Bed Head, Hempz, OPI, and more. There is always a bunch of stuff on sale. Wholesale prices for licensed beauticians with a Cosmoprof card. The shop itself is a bit cluttered. But it’s organized by brand, which is good. Staff is approachable and some are more knowledgeable than others.

I have been a loyal Cosmoprof client for over 6 years. Unfortunately, out of the numerous of different locations in which I have visited, this one is by far one of the worsts. The management at this location is horrible. Both the girl behind the counter and the short manager need to be let go or have some re-training. Just because they think they run the store does not give them the right to treat their patrons as if we owe them a favor for shopping there. Over the past year or so, the staff has changed from being great and very helpful… to plain disrespectful, rude, and ignorant. My colleagues and I will not be returning to this location until the staff changes.

Under new staff– been coming here for 8 years with no issues. new staff at this shop in last year… Recently came in for supplies and used their restroom. I was in a rush, and the ONE girl behind the counter was busy with other customers. Employee took it as an excuse to berate me in front of entire store and other customers. She was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. she actually pounded on door of bathroom, yelling about company policy and«how dare I» use the bathroom without first getting her permission. When I answered«just a second» so I could finish washing my hands before opening the door she stood there pounding on it repeatedly until I was done. I was appalled! and I told her so when I came out, completely in shock that she would behave this way. she actually left the counter, and the phones, and all of the waiting customers to chase me into the bathroom and pound on door. and she continued the verbal attack throughout my wait in the line at the front 3 min later… disrupting the clients she was working with to STARE me down and taunt me… I have filed complaint with corporate and will follow up.

This store sells products and tools to beauty professionals however the employees here are anything but. They have no knowledge of products, tools, or proper customer service. I am a licensed professional and have limited selection when it comes to buying products and tools unless I want to shop online or stock up at the shows. In this respect, Cosmoprof carries quality products and have frequent sales which is a huge plus. This review is specifically focused on the service and lack of knowledge the employees at the Milpitas location Cosmoprof have. I recently returned a Babyliss flat iron that I had purchased and tested only once. It was within the 60 day time frame. Upon inspecting the product the worker asked me if I cleaned it with anything because it smelled funny. I said no. She kept saying it smelled funny and told me to sniff it. So I did and yes, it smelled like a flat iron that has been turned on for the first time. The same smell a heater or blow dryer has the first time it is turned on. It’s the burn off smell that ALL heated appliances have. She proceeded to say it smelled, «ELECTRICAL». wow. Basically she said that the smell was not normal. Not only was she rude, as are all the workers at this location are, but she had no knowledge or common sense. People should not speak if what comes out of their mouth is gibberish.
